The Disclosure Process

Something BIG has been happening in the conspiracy theory community! Conspiracy theory type information has been leaking out from mainstream sources! It is happening a little at a time, but it is happening!!! Disclosure is a huge deal to conspiracy theorists because truth has been so well hidden by the powers that be. It brings about a certain vindication that we aren't as crazy as we have been painted.

Most conspiracy theorists are aware television programs and movies often share truths about a hidden reality--particularly sci-fi related shows. We marvel at the information presented as though it has come about purely through a writer's big imagination. This is what we call "soft disclosure".  It presents truth, but it does it in such a way that most people are unaware it is reality.

The biggest revelations lately have been a combination of soft disclosure accompanied by related mainstream disclosure. More specifically, soft disclosure began with the new X-Files mini-series (released on Jan. 24, 2016) and was backed by recently released information on alien investigations on the US government's CIA website.

The CIA website includes the following information:

For years, it has been rumored in the conspiracy theory community that there will be a huge data dump/disclosure at the time they are able to arrest all those in power who have conspired to destroy and enslave the planet. The problem with such a scenario lies in the fact that the vast majority of people on the planet are not ready for the magnitude of such revelations being uncovered all at the same time.

I personally do not see that disclosure scenario happening. Rather, I see it as a gradual process very much like the revelations that have just occurred with alien investigations. Most people in the world will be presented with the information, but at this point in time the revelations are easily digestible--milk instead of meat. Those who still sleep will not benefit from the meat that is truth. Those who have already been open to the meatier portions of the truth will see the revelations and understand the disclosure process is under way.

Truth is dawning like the sun after the long winter's solstice. It takes a while for the sun to come up. The sun shines brighter for longer periods of time as the days go on. It is a gradual process, but like the sunshine it is not possible to totally block it out. Full disclosure is coming. Understand it is a process.

Beyond Karma

While I believe that what goes around comes around, I'm not a big fan of most people's concept of karma. Karma is thought of by many as having to pay for mistakes you have made in the past, sometimes mistakes you have made in past lifetimes. I will confess that there are times when I can see someone else's bad attitude catching up with them and take a secret satisfaction in the way it plays out. That said, I don't believe karma is one endless prison sentence. Life isn't about paying for past mistakes. It's about making mistakes and learning from them so that you can go on and learn something new.

Karma is one of those religious concepts that can hold us in bondage. It does this by making us feel that the poor treatment we receive in life is something we deserve. When we feel we deserve poor treatment in life, that is what we receive. We block our own blessings!

Moving beyond our perceived karma is more a question of changing our frequency. That said, there are a good many things we need to overcome in order to be able to do that. For me, it is the journey of forgiveness. We have to be able to forgive ourselves for our own transgressions and mistakes. We have to be willing to forgive others for the pain they have caused us. We also need to be able to forgive the experiences, or traumas, we have endured as well as the energies that surround us in our environments. Moving beyond all these experiences changes our frequency/energy.

Karma is not so much about punishment as it is about controlling our state of BEing. Energy does carry over into the next life. Your choices in this lifetime determine where you end up in the next existence, based solely on the frequency you carry with you. Do what you can to rid yourself of blocks that come with living life. Choose forgiveness, and you will have the ability to move beyond your present problems into a new and beautiful life.

Why We're Here

Pierre Teilhard de Chardin once wrote,
We are not human beings having a spiritual experience. We are spiritual beings having a human experience.
To me, the difference in the two statements is profound. The first statement places us firmly in an imperfect state with perfection as the goal. The second acknowledges our perfection and our desire to play and experiment in a messy world.

If you haven't figured it out yet, this human life is not about perfection. It is complicated. It is chaotic. There are times we jump out of the frying pan directly into the fire. While there can be big rewards there can also be massive failures. It's all part of the process. It's what we signed up for!

That's right. We signed up for this! As crazy as it sounds, we signed up for this pain and nastiness! Why? We signed up because we wanted to learn what it was like to experience everything in the Oneness through the experience of individuality. This life of individuality, or duality as it is called, is the perfect vehicle to experience those things we already knew in unfamiliar and different ways.

Our 3D existence is a world of separation. I find the creation story in the Bible fascinating in regards to this concept. In the first book in the first chapter (Genesis, Chapter 1), it describes how God began pulling individual things out of what exists. He said, "Let there be light," and he separated it from the darkness. He continues to separate the heaven from the earth, the waters from the land, and then begins to pull plants and animals and even people out of the Void (or Oneness as I like to call it).

When we chose to experience this mess, we knew it would be a rough ride. We knew there was the potential to experience profound joy. We also understood that it could develop our souls in profound and unique ways. We believed the journey was worth it.

Understand that whatever good or bad you are experiencing now is all part of that process. Be thankful that you have been given such an opportunity and have made it this far! There is a beauty and richness that comes from traveling through dark places that you would never have fully understood without this experience. This is why we're here.

If You Could See What I See

One of my spiritual gifts is the ability to see the talents and giftedness of others. I was a very small child when I began using it, quite unconsciously. I'm pretty sure I tapped into it because I'm also empathic. When someone is sad and hurting, bringing up things they are good at helps them to focus on the positive.

When I look at people, I can usually pick up on what their gifts are pretty quickly. Upon spending a little more time with them I can also pick up on potential gifts or gifts that can be developed to be really outstanding. It has made me something of a cheerleader, but I can also usually come up with ideas to help the person make use of those gifts.

The types of gifts people have are endless and often unseen. Many gifts get taken for granted because they don't appear to be abilities society values. If they can't make you money they aren't worth much is sort of the underlying principle here. For example, people with a gift for hospitality often take that gift for granted. They are great at taking care of others, seeing their needs are met, making them feel welcome, etc. One can channel such a talent into a moneymaking career (such as in the hotel industry), but many times people with such gifts flounder in life because they don't know how to put their gifts into practice in practical ways.

One of the coolest things about being able to see the gifts in others is when you come across a person society believes has no value. For example, in my retail job I occasionally see people who are severely handicapped--people who are in wheelchairs and can do nothing on their own. Often I am drawn to these people because they have extremely powerful spirits. I would call such giftedness presence. Not only is there very powerful love emanating from these individuals, but I am often made to understand this disability is present in order to help their caregivers. Sometimes it is to help the caregiver find their talents in healing or another area. Sometimes it is to help the caregiver stay away from poor lifestyle choices. The reasons vary, but the contributions these people make are much more significant than society understands.

If you could see what I see when I look at you, you would know how truly magnificent you are! You would understand there is no one else in the whole world that could take your place--no one else who can do exactly what you can do. If you were not here, there would be an empty spot in the Universe. Know your gifts and talents are needed to help heal this planet. Understand your value is great and you are loved infinitely by the great I AM!

What Goes Around

Yesterday at work, I got a bit of a compliment I wasn't expecting. I was in process of returning items to various departments in the store I work in. I do try to make sure I am leaving items in the correct place. Otherwise, someone else has to take the trouble to sort them out and return them to the right place. Besides being more efficient, it's just easier on everyone involved. I was thanked for giving the correct items to the person who was trying to put them away. When I commented back, I was told that not everyone is happy to take things to the right place. I guess I knew that already. It drives me nuts when people leave stuff in my department that belongs elsewhere.

A long time ago, I learned that the energy I create in the world always comes back to me. When I am mean and nasty to people, it eventually comes back to bite me in the butt. That's why I work so hard at treating people the way I want to be treated. I want the pleasant stuff back. It works for me, too. I am well-liked and well-respected wherever I go.

What energy do you create in the world? The easiest way to tell is what energies confront you on a daily basis. Do people like you and treat you with respect? Do people appreciate the job you do? Do you find yourself receiving good things wherever you go? If not, it is time to question why! Ask yourself, "Am I putting good energies out into the world--energies I want to receive back?" If you are not, the answer may be that you need to change your energy/frequency so you are producing something more positive.

There are times when you may be putting out positive energies but not getting the results you want. Sometimes we can get into a mode where we are nicer than the people around us. Change is needed here, but it is not necessarily in how you treat others. The change that is needed is in how your see yourself. There are times in life when we subconsciously believe we deserve to be treated poorly, so we continue to take terrible treatment. Fact of the matter is, no one deserves to be treated poorly. In this scenario, self-esteem work is necessary to change the situation. Think about it this way; we all deserve to receive the energy we put out into the world. If you carry a thoughtful and loving frequency you deserve to receive that back!

What goes around really does come around. Make sure you are the positive frequency you want to see created in the world. When you change your energy, the world around you also changes. It is up to all of us to take responsibility for what gets created.

Debt Forgiveness

There is a very revealing book called "Confessions Of An Economic Hitman," by John Perkins. In it he details how countries are either persuaded or coerced into giving up the rights to their country's resources to very powerful transnational corporations. The vast majority of cases end up in situations where the countries are in extreme debt to various banks. While we have been taught to just accept this state of affairs as the way the world works, it is all a lie. It is a lie designed to trap us all and keep us slaves to a system that benefits only a few very wealthy and powerful people at the top of the food chain.

They do the same thing to individuals that they do to countries--steal all their personal resources. Look at the housing crisis of 2008. Laws were passed that enabled the banks to make loans to vast numbers of people they knew couldn't afford them. It isn't that the people couldn't afford to get a home. They were given homes bigger than what their salaries could realistically afford. While you could say their greed was their own worst enemies, the fact of the matter is they did not understand the math/economics behind the loans. They just knew their friends and coworkers, who were in the same boat, were being given the same loans on similar salaries. Behind the scenes, the bankers not only received huge payments from the interest on all these loans, but they were also able to use the profits to fund their massive ponzi schemes. As the average Joes began to default on their loans, the money the bankers were gambling also became lost. Because banks have money, they persuaded politicians to give them more money to gamble--otherwise known as the "bailouts". What most people fail to recognize is that the banks also gained vast amounts of real estate in the deal--our foreclosed upon houses. (Ironically, they write this acquired property off as losses!!!)

Unless you are intelligent and creative and work outside the usual employment system, you are probably stuck in the rat race that is today's world. You run on the hamster wheel with all your might, but you never seem to go anywhere. It was designed to be that way--all your hard work going to benefit someone else who sits back in some cushy office and makes the rules.

It is time for this to stop, and we are the key! Look at the US national deficit. Our government has borrowed so much money from the Federal Reserve Bank (which is a private institution not truly part of our government and pays dividends to its secret stock holders) that they taxes we pay every year don't go to the budget. Our taxes pay off the interest we owe to the Federal Reserve. Our government is run on money we borrow every year. This is why it never ends. Most of us don't take the time to look at the situation as it is. We just assume it is working the way it is supposed to and never question it.

What if we all stopped and said, "Enough! Our debt is fake and there is no need to pay falsely created debt!" Would our society fall apart? No. We would just be freeing ourselves from our captors.

The concept of debt forgiveness, or jubilee, has been around for a very long time, and we are much overdue. Isn't it time we free ourselves and create something new? Hopefully this time around we will create a world where everyone can live in the freedom and abundance they deserve.

Getting To Know Your Angels

Did you know you have angels who are assigned to you personally? (Yes, you are just that special!) Their jobs are to help you accomplish your goals and mission in life. They prompt you to take certain actions through thoughts or "coincidences". They keep you out of harms way if that is not part of your life's plan. They even provide physical things you need, although you might not consider your angels were the ones who brought them. You can get to know your angels personally, although for the vast majority of us the process takes time and focus.

I became aware of my angels, particularly the one I consider my angel-in-charge, by connecting to my heart space and becoming aware of energies that surround me. I had recently learned the process and I was guiding my sister through the technique. When we were both connected, I just sat there and focused on feeling the energies around me. I felt a presence a foot or two behind myself, sort of off to my right side. Interestingly enough, I felt a similar presence behind my sister but I knew that was her angel and I didn't need to concern myself with him. This is was my first acknowledgement of the presence of my personal guardian.

The whole experience intrigued me to the point where I began to seek more information about what happened. I was able to describe the experience to a very gifted intuitive, and she helped me determine more exactly what had happened. She also gave me suggestions for what to pay attention to--specifics like did it feel safe and where did those knowing feelings occurr in my own body. (Different people will get intuitive feelings/information in different locations in their bodies. Most of mine occur in my stomach and solar plexus areas, but they can even occur in something like your arm or your big toe. Don't judge them!)

I began to take time daily to get in touch with this particular angel. One of my favorite times of day was at work. At the time I was still working as a daycare teacher and I had a class of two year olds that took naps every day just after lunch. The two hour period where they slept gave me a large portion of time to get quiet and get connected. I found myself talking to my angel a lot during this time. As I didn't have a name for him, my offbeat sense of humor began referring to him as "Bob". Every time I used that name, I could feel my angel laughing. (Yes, they can have a sense of humor!) After a while of referring to him as "Bob", I heard a soft voice in my head. "My name is Saul." I was quite surprised by that. For some reason I never thought to ask for a real name.

Over time, I got out of the habit of talking to Saul, although I know he is still with me. I have once again made time to become aware of his specific presence just so I can hear his voice and advice a little more clearly.

You can get to know the presence and voice of your own angel/angels. It is simply a question of connecting to your heart and allowing yourself to become aware of the energies around you. Pay attention to feelings of safety or harm because all the energies around you are not necessarily helpful. The more familiar you become with various energies, the more you can learn about the spiritual realm.

The Tipping Point

I've seen a few intel/news reports in the alternative news recently that I want to believe are true--stuff about a new financial system and currency revaluations. The problem is, I've seen this stuff before. It's one of many things that is just right around the corner but comes with delay after delay after delay. More hopeium? I decided (finally) to inquire of my higher self during my meditation time, and what I got was this: humanity is at the tipping point.

What does it mean for humanity to be at the tipping point? For me, that means we're close to having enough people on the planet who are awake, aware and ready to actively take part in changing the direction of the planet. Regardless of the people already working behind the scenes to fix the planet, it will still take enough people who actually understand change needs to occur for the changes to come out into the open.

The intel I saw talked about many things already having been accomplished and just waiting the orders to become open, common knowledge. Currencies all over the planet have de-pegged from the US petrodollar with gold backed currencies. New financial computer systems have been set up and are operational. Those in power have supposedly signed off on the majority of their powers as this new system sets up. What is the delay?

There are still a good many people on this planet who have a vested interest in seeing the status quo maintained, and these are not just the powers that be. The "hold outs" are people who refuse to acknowledge the vast amount of corruption in the world because doing so would mean their comfortable way of life would stop (or so they think). The true irony is these same people have no idea how much better their lives would be if the current powers that be were no longer in charge. Their hard work would pay off better than their wildest dreams because the current powers that be would no longer have their hands in the pockets of humanity, taking every last nickel and dime they can steal!

We are at the tipping point to monumental change! Allow your fears to be put to rest as you acknowledge the need for the world to change. The quicker we understand that change is good, the quicker we can bring about the world of our dreams.

Ho'oponopono Revisted

While in my morning meditation time, I had a huge insight that needs to be shared. The biggest obstacles to our own personal freedom and abundance are ourselves. Often, we visualize the problem as being outside ourselves. We keep ourselves separate, and separation creates blocks. The power of Ho'oponopono comes from the fact this sort of prayer breaks down the barriers that come between us, enabling energy to flow freely once again.

I was using a meditation I go to periodically by one of my favorite spiritual gurus, Wayne Dyer, called "Getting In The Gap." It takes you through a process of going through the first few phrases of the Lord's prayer and having you focus on the space between the words. In past, I have had some amazing insights using this process. This time was no exception.

Toward the end of my meditation while I was in the gap, I noticed something I had not noticed before. The people I see as having all the power (who I also consider to be evil incarnate) were placed off to the side, seemingly surrounded by some insulated bubble. It was a separation, designed to protect me and keep the evil from me.

What I began to understand about this separation is, as long as it is in place, I am not taking responsibility for the negative aspects of myself. I am not allowing the loving part to infiltrate this darkness and heal it. Without healing, the darkness will continue to fester and disrupt my life and the lives of those around me.

I immediately went into Ho'oponopono prayer. This is an ancient Hawaiian form of prayer comprised of four different parts: I'm sorry, please forgive me, thank you, and I love you. It is designed to get a person to take responsibility for what happens and resolve the blocked energies that occur between parties. As I focused on this separation with this prayer, I could feel the barrier begin to get smaller. While I can't say it is all gone, I now know this is a problem I need to continue to work on. Hopefully, one day in the near future I will be able to totally remove this barrier and allow myself to heal all those hurt places in myself. (You can read more in depth about Ho'oponopono prayer here.)

The more we are able to take responsibility for all that IS, the closer we come to healing the ourselves and changing the face of this planet. Are you ready to heal and be healed? Are you ready to forgive? Ho'oponopono can help give us that opportunity.

Being The Filter

As an empath, I've worked very diligently to shield myself from the negative emotions of others. It is all too easy to absorb them and let them become part of my own frequency. Recently, I have asked the Universe for help for myself and others so that I can articulate techniques that can be used to stop damage. What follows is some of the wisdom received from asking the question.

I've been helping a friend work through some major life issues recently. Often she is angry at everyone and everything and this comes out as very forceful negativity--the force of which is the equivalent of an emotional punch. Being sensitive, this is an extremely uneasy place to be in.

I'm going to tell you a little secret about untrained empaths: they have a tendency to be energy trappers/blockers. They will absorb energies and not let them go, often believing all these energies are theirs personally. The problem is blocked energy. Energy, both negative and positive, is meant to flow. If you absorb energy and hold on to it you are literally  blocking energy. You are creating your own problem.

Understand none of us are here to absorb and/or block energies. Energy is meant to flow. Consequently, the more you enable the energy to flow in your own life, the better and easier your own life will be.

With my friend, I have been allowing her to vent her negative energy to me. This comes out as anger, sadness and frustration--usually not a good place for an empath. What keeps me sane is my mind. I focus on the fact that these negative emotions in her are not truly directed at me. I give them space to be. I allow them to be accepted and okay. I do not try to change them (or her) in any way. These emotions are given escape. They swirl around me and even through me.

This is key: I see myself as a filter. Any of these negative emotions that enter me are accepted and allowed to come in but they do not sit there. They are allowed to pass through the light that is me, coming out more light filled as they pass. I allow the energy that is me to work on the negative frequencies in order to transform them into something better.

The venting allows my friend to let go of that negative energy so that it is no longer harmful to her. As with all energy exchange, venting clears the space to bring in something new and hopefully more positive.

Understand that any sort of trapped energy is going to create problems because it is blocked flow. By not taking these negative energies personally, we are able to allow what is to flow on past and dissolve blocked energy in our lives. Seeing yourself as a filter will not only change your life but will change the lives of all those around you.

The Perfection Of Imperfection

Most of us are living a lie. We are told we need to be perfect--to jump through the neat little hoops that society has laid out for us. We do our best to be good citizens and human beings, falling short time and time again. Mistakes are us, and we feel bad when we make them because we should somehow be able to stop ourselves from making them.

We justify this state of affairs by saying we are only human--that human beings are imperfect and can't be held to standards of perfection. Only God (or his only begotten son) can truly be perfect.

Many of us continue to slog through this life, making mistake after mistake. Sometimes we continue making the same mistakes over and over again. These are the times we scratch our heads and beat ourselves up over our transgressions.

The simple fact is, we didn't come to this 3D existence to be perfect. We came to learn. We came to grow. We came to get dirty, get in trouble, make mistakes...and make them again. It isn't about maintaining a squeaky clean appearance. It's about imperfection!

When we live in perfection, we learn nothing. We don't appreciate what we have because there is no contrast to show us--no valley of death that makes us appreciate what life has to offer.

There is perfection in our imperfection. It is our mistakes, our struggles, our conflicts, our problems that help us engage in both the light and dark sides of the spectrum. We are able to learn in a more well-rounded way. It is our imperfections that work together to make us perfect.

Getting Out Of Your Own Way

Years ago when I was an actively seeking Christian, I decided to seek out the gift of speaking in tongues. I was part of a group that believed in not limiting the gifts of the Spirit. One of my fellow believers had told me of a book called, "They Speak With Other Tongues", by John Sherrill, which intrigued me and made me want to investigate this phenomenon more closely.

For part of my journey, I was led to a couple whose son was friends with my son. They had experience with such gifts. They invited me into their home one afternoon and prayed for me to receive the gift of tongues. Although it did not happen for me that day, I remembered myself speaking in tongues as a child. Interestingly enough, my tongues experience manifested a few years later in the company of a group of spiritually minded folks. The leaders of this group were folks I had met at a church service the first couple had brought me to several years before. Small world.

What leaves a lasting impact on my heart and mind from those details is this; my own biggest obstacle to obtaining this spiritual gift was me! I was the one stopping me! When I look back at the situation, it was my mind that told me it couldn't be done. It was my mind that told me this gift looked ridiculous. It was my mind that told me I couldn't do it.

My heart told me otherwise. It was my heart that sought out the information in the first place. It was my heart that led me to people who could help me. It was my heart that allowed me to overcome the shame my mind was heaping on me to keep me away from my spiritual gifts.

Getting out of your own way requires a leap of faith. It requires allowing yourself to do something that seems silly or ignorant because you heart longs to go there. Your heart is your internal knowing, your internal guidance system. When we ignore that leanings of our hearts, our lives often do not go well, nor are we happy.

Allow yourself to follow the wisdom that comes from your heart, even when the world (and your mind) tells you it won't work out. The part of you that is connected to everything in Oneness has a much fuller grasp of what is going on. Learn to trust it and get out of your own way so you can live the life of your dreams!

The Best Advice I Ever Received

The best advice I ever received came to me well over 25 years ago. At the time I was in my early twenties and I was working at a group home with emotionally disturbed children. The advice came from a coworker and friend who was only slightly older than myself. Because of life experience, she had a great deal of common sense and lot of insight.

The job at the group home was my first real job after college, and I struggled with it. Working with children--especially children with behavioral problems--meant there was a great need to be authoritative while still being kind. I just wasn't getting it, and it left me frustrated and angry. I asked for advice and took it. Nothing seemed to work for me.

After six months on the job, I had my first ever job review. It didn't go well. I sat in the cottage at the group home in a bit of a daze, wondering what I was going to do to change things. That's when my friend, Laurie, showed up. She was a terrific residence counselor even though she had not been there quite as long as I had. Being one of thirteen children, she had absolutely no problem dealing with kids or kid problems. She had already helped raise a couple of her younger siblings and was used to chaotic groups.

Laurie could sense that something was wrong and asked about it. I told her about the review. I described how I had been asking for advice and taking it, but nothing seemed to be working for me. She looked at me and said, "Your biggest problem is that you are listening too much to other people's advice. What works for someone else may not necessarily work for you. What does your instinct tell you to do? I admitted I had not considered that before. Laurie told me that I needed to do what "felt" right.

I took the advice to heart. I began listening to my inner voice and doing what it said, and things at worked improved quickly. In fact, within one month, my supervisor who had given me the review said, "I can't believe how much you have improved in your job in such a short time! Keep it up!"

As I look back at that experience, I understand the importance of Laurie's advice. You can imitate the best. You can research and review and experiment with different approaches to life. Some things you try may work. At other times these same things may fall flat. It isn't the method you choose. It's a question of where you get your guidance from. Does it come from a book or another person, or does it come from some deep place of knowing in your heart?

The answer to that question will determine just how successful you become in your own life. Know that you have all the answers within. Trust the guidance of your heart to make the difference.

The Power Of Letting Go

Like most people, I struggle with change. I can be so invested in what is--whether it be relationships, jobs, or material possessions--that I stubbornly cling to them for dear life. That said, there comes a time when the pain of holding on becomes too difficult to deal with. That is the point you have to make a choice. You have to choose between clinging so hard that what you cling to is destroyed, or you have to be willing to let go and risk losing it altogether.

Choosing to let go, in and of itself, is a painful process. It involves separation. It involves the potential of falling. You can never be sure something else will be there to catch you or even fall into. You don't know if you're going to encounter more pain along the way.

When you make the choice to let something go, you are acknowledging to the Universe that you are giving up something that is no longer healthy or appropriate for you. You signal that you are ready to give space to something that is potentially greater. By letting go you are making room to include something new in your life.

I have had to make some tough personal choices lately involving relationships. Because they were with people I love very dearly, I did not want to let go and potentially not have those people in my life. Still, I had reached the point where I knew that if I was not willing to let go of those relationships willingly they might destruct anyway. I choose to face my fear and allow myself to let them go. This turned out to be a freeing move for all involved. It gave us the space to grow in ways I did not anticipate.

Sometimes it is only in letting go that we are able to free ourselves from all that holds us back. We can shift into new places and spaces as we leave the confines of our former lives behind. That is the power to letting go.

The Light Of Truth

I have been noticing something. Both in my personal life and in the world at large, things are changing in very positive ways. While circumstances appear chaotic at a glance, a closer look reveals much more. Truth is being seen like never before. The shadows are being exposed more quickly as the light gets stronger.

The stock market is getting interesting to watch. Even though it has taken quite a big tumble for the beginning of the year, no one is panicking (except for the traders and others whose livelihoods depend on it). The mood of the people in general is unusually calm--nothing like the tumble of '08 or the tumble of '01. I attribute this to the fact that more people are waking up to how artificial and controlled/manipulated the stock market is.

I also see more people waking up to the "terrorism" crisis. Even though there are still a good many gullible people out there who believe IS is a group of radical Muslims who are trying to convert or kill the people of the world, many others don't. People have begun to question the story so much that little snippets of truth about who has actually done the bombings are coming to light. (Hint: not Syria or Putin.)

I even caught an interesting story in the mainstream Huffington Post about the "coincidence" of both David Bowie and Alan Rickman (who both died this week at the age of 69) being referenced in the same scene in a three year old episode of The Simpsons! The fact they even felt the need to mention such a thing and that I found the story because it was trending on social media shows me that many people are questioning those deaths!

Truth may not come to light as quickly as we have been hoping, but it is happening all the same. Fifty years from now, we will look back at this time period and wonder how we could have been as gullible as we were. The light of truth is dawning and the daylight approaches! Let's celebrate the changes together!!!

Please Consider Helping A Friend

I have a good friend, the wife of a government whistleblower, who has gone through a lot the past few years and is trying to get her life back after a car accident. I know her struggles, which you can learn more about on her Go Fund Me link! If you have any money you can spare, that would be extremely helpful. Prayers and positive energy sent her way is also greatly appreciated! Thank you!!!

Learning The Lesson

Have you ever wondered why the same situations--the same dramas--play out over and over again in your life? Even when you have successfully gotten rid of one tormentor, does a new tormentor come along to take his/her place? Instead of fighting the person or situation off or running away, try asking the Universe what this situation is trying to teach you. There just might be a lesson you need to learn!

Maybe you have a habit of picking out relationships that start out great, but end up verbally or physically abusive. Maybe you find yourself attracting needy people who end up taking up the majority of your time and energy. Eventually you manage to get out of the relationships, but the next time around it happens all over again.

The patterns don't even have to be about other people. You might have a habit of investing in bad business deals or jumping into exciting new hobbies only to discover down the road none of them lived up to your expectations.

Do these repeating circumstances mean you're doomed to failure? Absolutely not! It just means you need to begin asking questions and study out the details of the situations.

The best place to get answers is in your heart. In your quiet meditation time, ask yourself questions like, "What do these situations have in common?" and "What do I feel at the beginning of these relationships that I should be taking notice of?" Answers will come as you learn to listen to the voice that comes in the silence.

After I divorced my first husband, I found myself in two very similar relationships--both where trust and mistreatment were issues. It took about two months in each of these relationships for me to understand the similarities to my failed marriage and to break things off. It took quite a while longer for me to find the relationship I now have with a very supportive and caring husband because I was so used to being treated poorly it felt strange when someone actually treated me well! I had to change how I thought of myself as well as change what I was willing to accept.

Asking questions is key because asking questions allows you to begin seeing the same situations from different perspectives. When you have a more well-rounded picture of what is going on, you can approach the situation differently. You can change your energy/frequency and BEcome something new!

The more you begin to understand that life here on Earth is a school of sorts, the more quickly you will learn to work through your lessons. Life becomes easier as you shed the cocoon that has enslaved you and free yourself to soar to new heights.

Meditation To Let Go Of Fear

I've had an interesting exchange with a guy on social media. I posted a picture that read, "There are well over a billion Muslims in the world. If Islam was really about violence you'd all be dead by now. Stop letting your TV tell you who to hate." Some guy I do not know came back with some supposed statistic 300,000,000 of them have been radicalized to want to kill him and that he'll hate who he wants to hate. It honestly makes me sad to know this man has been so brainwashed he believes the garbage he sees in the media and lives in such great fear that he allows it to make him hate.

As long as we live in fear, we cannot have the peace we so desperately desire and need. Fear brings on feelings of hate and anger. It brings out the belief that we need to go into fight mode in order to "defend" ourselves. Fear keeps us separate.

It is time to ferret fear out of our hearts, and allow ourselves to come together as One.

Letting Go Of Fear

  1. Find a quiet room and sit in a comfortable position. Close your eyes and take several deep, cleansing breaths, allowing any tension and stress to flow out of you.
  2. When calm and relaxed, focus in on the beating of your heart. Allow yourself to feel your soul residing with this beating heart.
  3. Now focus on feeling your soul inside the confines of your body. Concentrate on what it feels like for your spirit to be limited to the space of your body.
  4. Allow your soul to expand while still remaining in your body. Feel your soul expanding to the space of the room you are in. Expand it even more to fill the town or county your physical body is in. Continue to expand your soul so it reaches ever expanding space--your state or country, your hemisphere in the world, the whole world, and then expanding out into infinity.
  5. Allow yourself to feel and explore this expanded and infinite space. You may sense the presence of other people or animals. You might sense nature or buildings. This is the place where literally everything resides.
  6. As you explore this space, notice you are not separate from anything. Allow yourself to explore fear in this place. It is here, but does it overwhelm you? Explore other emotions as well. Love. Anger. Joy. Etc. Is fear more important than anything else, or does it become more mellow and easier to deal with in the place of Oneness?
  7. Rest in this understanding. Perspective is key. Fear does not need to have dominance over you. Allow it to dissipate and assume its rightful place within Oneness.
Fear was designed to help us gain valuable insights. In this world of duality, fear has been used to keep us all separate and overwhelmed to the point we cannot heal our planet or ourselves. Allow your heart be your guide as you choose to be a healing force in the world. Let go of your fear and allow yourself to be led by love.

Changing Programmed Memes

I am convinced that in order to change the world, we have to BEcome the change we want to see happen. It's a matter of refining your personal frequency so much that those around you take notice and begin to ask questions about what is different.

I work part-time in a national department store chain. In my position as a sales associate, I get to meet many types of people from all walks of life. Consequently, I find myself having various conversations throughout the day where societal values are discussed. It's interesting to gauge the thoughts of others as we all worth through this thing called life. I have been pleased to note that many of the memes that have kept us enslaved are beginning to be looked at and questioned.

For example, I had a conversation with a man within the past couple of days about the stock market. He made the statement, "I believe they are in control of what happens to it," after talking about the recent downswing. It pleased me to see that people are beginning to understand just how artificially manipulated things like the stock market are. I couldn't help but agree with him. Regardless of how brief the conversation was, the energy created by this exchange empowered both of us.

January is a notoriously slow month in retail because people are broke after Christmas. Having been in my present position for over five years now, I've noticed they have already cut employee hours back much more than in previous years. Usually the first week or two of January is still busy with returns and they have a little more staff on the floor to deal with it. The lack of staff now creates a lot of extra work that is just not getting done. I see this being played out in most stores I visit right now. Minimal staff being paid minimal wages adds up to big corporate profits. The corporations make out like bandits while the employees and customers get screwed.

On more than one occasion, I have pointed this out to various coworkers and customers. I will also include the idea that this state of affairs is our own fault. Why is this our fault and not the responsibility of corporate executives? It is our fault because we allow them to continue these practices without questioning them! Why do we allow them to make us work harder and harder without increasing our wages? Why do we allow them to not pay us living wages? Some of us are so programmed we even repeat their asinine arguments that "If they were to pay us living wages they would go out of business" or "We shouldn't really be complaining because, after all, we do have jobs!!!" Make no mistake. Our current programming is such that we have allowed the wealth to be redistributed from our own pockets and into the pockets of those who already have so much money and power they don't know what to do with it (except swindle us out of more). By questioning the status quo we help others see the need for change.

Changing our programming requires BEing the change first and asking questions second. In this way we heal our planet and help each other BEcome our own best selves.

What Is Prayer?

People throughout the world have certain ideas about what prayer is. For some, it requires chanting or beads. Others believe the form or content is what is important. Regardless of your personal beliefs, I would like to challenge you to think of prayer in terms of energy/frequency. In this way of thinking, prayer would be defined as consciously connecting your energy to the energy of the Divine.

There are two important elements to prayer defined as energy: giving and receiving. Connecting to the Divine requires energy exchange. It is not merely one side doing all the talking and one side all the listening. It is a dance of sorts--a give and take that empowers and enriches all involved. You may ask, but you also understand more action may be required when the answer comes.

In my own personal prayer time, I come with openness and expectation. This is important as most of the time I function in a state of separation. Prayer is intentionally different. It is a time I acknowledge I am not alone and I am open to answers and power I do not have access to when I believe I am separate. It is this openness that creates a fundamental shift in thinking. I become aware of things I was not aware of before. I can even direct Divine energy to problems that need fixing. For example, when I am connected in prayer I can focus that openness and energy on my friend who is sick and consciously direct healing energy into his/her body.

Most days, we make prayer much more complicated than it needs to be. Use your awareness to open yourself to the energy that is Oneness, and allow it to guide you in ways that lead to new understandings and more positive interactions with the world at large.

What Energy Are You Creating?

For a while, I had a blog I called "Leaving Walmart". The premise behind it was meant to be something of a protest against the practices that big corporations represent--low wages, big profits, slave labor produced products, etc. In the blog, I talked about some of my experiences shopping in local businesses in order to get away from the Walmart sort of business mentality.

Then one day, I had a powerful insight. I was never going to break Walmart by pointing out what was wrong with them. The energy I was putting into the fight only served to perpetuate the fight. As I did not want to be a source for fight energy, I gave up my blog and unplugged myself from that particular matrix.

We cannot fix the world by bringing more fight and opposition to it. We fix the world by bringing in energies of love and peace. We fix the world by showing others how it can be!

Martin Luther King, Jr. understood this when he said the following:
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
It takes an opposite but equal action in order to balance out inequalities. It is not about fighting. It is about BEing the energy/frequency you want to see in the world.

The world needs examples to understand what is possible. Do you have what it takes to BE the change you wish to see in the world?

Be Careful What You Wish For

Lately, I've been excited by the possibilities for change. I look out at a population that is beginning to wake up from a long sleep and see the potential the world has to offer us all. It has emboldened me to ask for great personal change in my own life. It also makes me question my own sanity.

Change is difficult at the best of times. That's because change--even small change--requires breaking down and discarding things that no longer work. We believe we want things to be different, but when those things we have used to support ourselves with begin to crumble away we cling to them for dear life and wonder why they are slipping away!

Change requires great courage. You have to understand when you seek change you are telling the Universe you are ready to learn something (and lean on something) new. You have to believe the Universe has your back and will not let you fall, even when all you see is the edge of the cliff.

Understand you may stumble and fall along the way. Sometimes you might fall a long way. The key to swiftly navigating change lies in your ability to understand that somewhere in the confusion and pain there is benefit. Somewhere in the chaos, new life springs forth. It is this new life that brings the gifts you have longed for!

Be careful what you wish for. The process can be painful even when the change is worth it!

Taking Responsibility For War

I was watching an interview with a Syrian refugee. Because of war facing that country, she and her family fled. No one wants to live in war. No one wants to live in such fear. The simple fact of the matter is, the vast majority of us want to live in peace. The vast majority of us want to live lives of freedom from fear and worry.

This is not possible at present. Why? Because those in power want war. War makes them rich when governments buy more planes and ships and bombs and arms from their war corporations. War makes them rich when they are enabled to take over the vast mineral and slave resources available in any given 2nd or 3rd world country. War gives them the wealth necessary to buy more and more power as they take over world governments and suppress the people.

We have two choices with this state of affairs. We can choose to play the victim and continue to allow those obsessed with wealth and power to control our planet through our destruction. The other choice is to recognize what is going on and take responsibility for what happens. The fact of the matter is, there is a whole lot more of us than there are of them. If we were to all come together and say we want peace and you can no longer stop us, war would stop. Immediately.

Now is the time for action! Now is the time to open up our hearts and begin connecting to them! When we allow love to flow in, we begin to understand that the people in those war torn countries are just like us. They don't want to live in fear. They want to live in peace, just as we want to live in peace. They may have different colored skin. They may have different cultures and different beliefs. Still, they want what we all want. They want to live in love and happiness.

Stop allowing evil people to decide what actions we take! As long as we listen to the voices of these wolves and the lies they spew forth, all we will know is war. All we will know is fear.

Open your heart! This is the place where peace and love begin. This is the place of connection--the place we discover that we all have something in common. We have spent enough time destroying one another. It is time to begin the process of peace and prosperity. It is time to take responsibility for our actions, lay aside our weapons and begin to live in the peace we so desperately crave.

Together, we can make a difference. Together, we are the ones we've been waiting for. Let's make it happen!!!

God In Me

Growing up Christian, I heard a lot about having God in my heart. This is what the concept of the Holy Spirit is all about--God within. While I appreciate that Christianity contains the concept of God dwelling within the human soul, it strikes me Christians don't take responsibility for it. That's where the problems begin.

In this world of separation, we see God as separate from ourselves. He is almighty, all-powerful and perfect. These are concepts very much outside the imperfection that is us as human beings. Consequently, while we are taught to believe a version of God lives in everyone, we fail to identify with it. It's inside, but it is not us. (Really? Sounds like the definition of possession to me!)

Christians have a tendency to say things like, "Let go and let God" and "If it's God's will" in order to justify not taking responsibility for their own lives. That way, if things don't turn out as they want, they can justify the negativity. Again, these are concepts that suggest God is not really joined with who they are.

I believe the Persian poet and mystic (who was also Islamic) Rumi gave one of the best explanations of God in me that I have ever heard. He said:
You are not a drop in the ocean. You are the entire ocean in a drop.
In other words, you are not just a piece of God, separate and incomplete. Everything that IS God is contained inside you. This is why Jesus told his disciples they could perform even greater miracles than he had done. We all have the power of God inside ourselves. We simply see it as separate from who we are, so we are not able to use it.

Christians believe they cannot be complete without God so they have to intentionally take in what they believe to be God. What they fail to recognize is, God is already there!!! It's not about taking something foreign inside. It's about recognizing what has been there all along.

There is no need to go to something outside yourself and ask what the divine plan for you is. Ask your heart where you should go and what you should do. The information is there, and it has been there the whole time.

Everything that IS God is in me. Everything that IS God is in you. Isn't it time to tune in to that God frequency and use it to change the world?

Transitioning Away From "News"

Within the conspiracy theory community, I hear a lot of people talk about how they stay away from mainstream news. I definitely believe there is a lot of garbage there that parades around as truth, so it is better to avoid it. However, my thinking is also changing as far as alternative news. I am to the point where I am no longer an avid fan of it either. I don't totally dismiss it any more than I totally dismiss mainstream news. I just no longer rely on it.

News has been something of an addiction for me throughout my lifetime. Some of my earliest childhood memories involve sitting down to the dinner table with the evening news on in the background. I was always curious about what was happening in the world, just as my parents were. When I fell down the rabbit hole into the realm of conspiracy theory, alternative news sources were a natural transition.

The problem I now have with news is not actually with the news itself. What I see as the problem is how I take it in and how I process it. Typically, whether mainstream or alternative, I take in the information though my senses of sight and sound and process this information with my brain. Herein lies the problem. I am limiting my input to information gathered outside my heart.

Creating our new world is about changing our focus from the mind to the heart. It is about becoming so in touch with our hearts we are thinking through and acting from that place--that place of connection to all things. Thinking through the mind often comes from a place of separation.

Whether mainstream or alternative news, when we focus on this information from the mind, the mind will provide all the "solutions". As Albert Einstein once said, "We can't solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we used when we created them."

The more I follow the guidance of my heart, the more I see solutions outside mainstream thinking. The more I pick up on information from my heart, the more I find information I was totally unaware of before--information the news cannot and does not see.

I am not totally dismissing news. There are times when the awareness of my heart picks up on some small detail provided in the news that correlates to the insights I receive from my heart.

As we get closer to opening ourselves to the divine wisdom of the heart, the limited information of the mind loses its appeal. Finding yourself in a place where you no longer find news appealing is an indication you are firmly moving toward creating a more heart-based world.

Do You Read Frequencies?

Years ago when I worked at a treatment center for emotionally disturbed children, I worked with a little guy who seemed to have the usual problems that landed a child in such a place. Besides the very common ADHD and erratic behaviors, we began noticing some unusual throat-clearing sounds coming from him. Further investigation and diagnosis revealed he had a mild case of Tourettes' Syndrome. He ended up being one of my favorite children at the facility and I grew quite close to him while he was there. I became used to his behaviors and ticks--all part of his frequncy. I even remember a distinct smell in his breath--not unpleasant but different from anything I had ever smelled before.

I never thought anything about this encounter with mild Tourette's until years later, when I met another boy. I was friends with his mom, and she was struggling with him because of behavioral problems she did not understand. His behaviors didn't bother me because I was used to such frequencies. Then one day, I caught a distinct smell from his breath. It reminded me of the little guy I had worked with at the group home with Tourette's. I began to wonder if he too had Tourette's, especially after it dawned on me his behavior was similar to the boy at the group home. This boy was diagnosed with Tourette's several months down the road. To this day I still think there was something I picked up in that smell, but even more important was the similar frequency these two boys carried.

I have a tendency to be good at picking up on bipolar behavior. I have dealt with it personally within my own family, but I encountered even more of it when I was a daycare teacher. In children, it will often manifest as ADHD behavior, but will be different in anger. A child with normal ADHD will get angry but can be talked out of his/her anger through rational thought. A child who is bipolar will often seem like he/she has ADHD, but anger is a whole different matter. A bipolar child will get angry about something and the only way to calm him/ her down is to get them to focus on something totally unrelated to the issue that angered them in the first place. Otherwise, the anger cycles in on itself and gets even more out-of-control.

I have a friend who has a son with Asperger Syndrome, which is a milder, high-functioning form of autism. Her autism radar goes off when she encounters someone with a similar frequency. As I have also worked with various forms of autism in daycare settings, it is something I can tune into as well.

Ever wondered how you know to stay away from certain people at certain times? It's like you just know they are angry and will strike out at anyone who comes within arms length of them if they are approached, so you just avoid them? You may be aware of addictive personalities. You may be drawn to people who make you laugh without having heard them crack the first joke, but you sense that ability. Believe it or not, you too are reading frequencies! We often don't understand that's what we're doing, but it is happening all the same.

Next time you discover yourself attracted to someone or find yourself running away from another in fear before a word has been spoken between you, understand you are picking up on frequency! The more aware you are when you pick up on frequency, the more skilled you will become at doing it. Learn to appreciate the more subtle abilities you have been blessed with by paying attention to all those things that draw or repel you. You may just be surprised by how gifted you are!!!

What It Means To Be An Empath

I didn't grow up knowing I was an empath. I knew I understood what other people were feeling--so much so that when someone around me was feeling sad or angry I would do what I could to make them feel better. Often this included playing the role of defender when I saw someone getting bullied. There were times when I felt other's feelings so well I could pretty much tell what they were thinking. I always knew when someone had a crush on me, which usually resulted in me turning distant in order to keep would-be boyfriends away. I just knew I did not want to engage with people in that casual way.

I didn't know there was such a thing as an empath until I had a very unusual experience. I was working as a Pre-K teacher at the time. It was a normal day in my classroom and I was supervising my class during their free choice time. As I stood there watching the kids at play, I heard words form in my mind. The words were, "You are an empath." My first thought was, "I'm a what?" I didn't have the first clue as to what the word meant, although I assumed it had something to do with empathy. The voice was comforting and familiar, as I had heard it many times throughout my life when I really needed something extra. I know now that voice belongs to my main guardian angel. I'm still not sure why he chose that particular time to give me that information. I just know he did.

When I got home, I did a quick computer search and asked, "What is an empath?" As I began reading articles on empaths, several light bulbs went off. This is why I hated being in large crowds and needed lots of alone time! (Emotional overload.) This is why I can't stand horror movies or movies involving human tragedy. (Too much suffering.) I adore spending time hiking in nature because of the calming energies I am able to absorb. There were quite a few different traits that seemed to fit this description of empath. Considering I didn't even know what the word meant when I first heard it in my head (and that it turned out to be a real word), I thought it was quite significant.

It has taken me a long time to be able to shield myself from certain emotional situations. Some of my shielding comes from my gifts themselves. Because I understand others' emotional needs in a very intimate way, I can often find ways to help them feel better quickly, which in turn helps me feel better. Other parts of my shielding involves life lessons where I have learned to understand that others poor treatment of myself and others usually stems from pain that is part of their BEing. I am able to understand it is theirs and not take it personally.

On the flip side, it has taken me a long time to appreciate what I can do. It has only been the past couple of years that I realized I am very good at my customer service job because I can read people well. I know what they need and can sense small problems before they become bigger problems, Over the years, I have found that I can talk to hurting people for just a little while and help them find solutions to the problems they encounter. I used to take this ability for granted, but no more. It is a blessing to be a spiritual/emotional healer.

The more we begin to tap into the wisdom and guidance of our hearts, the more empathic we become. Like all muscles, empathy must be practiced. It is not for the faint of heart. Courage is required when you allow your heart to be opened to others. After all, you are allowing yourself to be opened to pain. Harnessing empathic power gives one the ability to heal whatever is focused on, whether self, others or the planet. Empaths are here to help heal the world.

To Thine Own Self Be True

I read an amazingly good essay the other day titled "You Probably Know To Ask Yourself, 'What do I Want?' Here's A Way Better Question". It's about the fact that most people are not willing to put the time and effort into making their goals/dreams a reality. For me, the key to the whole topic rested in the following brief paragraphs:
If I asked you, "What do you want out of life?" and you say something like, I want to be happy and have a great family and a job I like," it's so ubiquitous that it doesn't even mean anything.
A more interesting question, a question that you've perhaps never considered before, is what pain do you want in your life? What are you willing to struggle for? Because that seems to be a greater determinant in how our lives turn out.
The brilliance lies in the question involving pain. What is so important to you that you are willing to walk through the fire to obtain it? Most of the things we believe we believe we want are not that important to us. Why? Because we live in a world where we are told what we want, but this doesn't necessarily line up with the goals and desires of our hearts!

Here in the United States, we are overwhelmed by advertising and programming where material objects are important. We watch "reality" shows about people like the Kardashians. Images of expensive cars, plush homes and exotic locations come to us through TV, movies and the internet. We are expected to attend our assembly-line schools, where we are taught to get good grades so we can get a good job and make lots of money and buy all the things they tell us we want. Typically, we are shunted into cookie cutter jobs that use our abilities but do not always tap into our interests and talents, all for a paycheck. This way of functioning is through the mind. It is purely rational. Consequently, it does not touch on those things that really drive us and make us tick.

The things that matter to each one of us come through the heart. Even though they might be unconscious thoughts, they have great power in our lives. When our hearts desire something, we are usually willing to go through great pain in order to get it.

When I look at my own life through the level of my brain, this is what I see. I have money to live on but not much more. I did manage to receive a college education that I have not really used in life. I am on my second marriage. Although this marriage is much stronger, I am disappointed that I will not have the 50+ year relationship that my parents have. I did raise some amazing children. I have always been appreciated in the jobs that have provided for me because I am intelligent and a hard worker. Still I have not attained a high level in any of my career paths. I think I want to travel all over the world and personally experience the many cultures that have peaked my interest. I make friends easily, and my close friendships include people of all ages.

When I look at my life through my heart, I see something very different. Although my jobs never paid a great deal, I was always able to pay the bills while still making sure my kids had at least some of the things they wanted. I also got to spend large quantities of time raising them, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I have successfully avoided the stress and health problems that come with taking on management positions. While my first marriage failed, I learned self-reliance and independence through having to take care of myself and my family. My fascination with people from different cultures has resulted in having friendships with people from all over the world. I have a good many strong friendships in general. These are all things that are important to my heart, and I have consequently been extremely successful in such areas.

If you have not already done so, it is time to ask the hard questions. What can you not live without? What are you willing to endure hardships for? What things are so important to you that you would walk through fire to obtain them? The answers may surprise you.

Connect to your heart and allow it to guide you. This will lead you back to self and all that is truly important to you. Your goals are never outside yourself.

To thine own self be true.

Astrological Insights

With all the interesting astrological alignments that have occurred within the past year, I have seen a definite pattern. Many of the days containing these events come with interesting insights. At least, I have become aware of the fact that some of my most revealing and interesting observations have occurred on those days. While it could be argued that my imagination is manifesting something more because I am expecting something more (or at I'm least aware something different is occurring), I don't think that's all there is to it. I believe the energies/frequencies are different depending on the alignments of different stars and planets. This varies the energies of planet Earth and, consequently, everything on her (including us).

For example, my morning meditation on New Year's Day saw many interesting insights, one right after another (including this one). All I had to do with ask a question and answers were almost immediate. It was also the day Earth was in direct alignment with the star Sirius, which is considered the central sun in the Milky Way Galaxy, and our own Sun. I have recently posted about insights that seem to occur with the full moon. (You can read that here.)

On a personal level, think about this: you feel differently on days where you are exposed to the full sunshine as opposed to days that are totally clouded over. You also feel differently when the full sun is exposed and high in the sky on a summer day contrasted to full sun lower in the sky on a winter day. Such factors make a difference you can actually feel! Why? It's because the frequencies are different!!!

For thousands of years, people have charted the progress of the stars and planets across the night sky. There are stories in ancient literature (including religious literature) talking about special events occurring when certain astrological signs were present. In the Bible, the three wiseman came to see Jesus based on a certain alignment of stars. Ironically, ancients acknowledged what we seem to have forgotten.

Although astrology is not thought to be scientifically based, there is a lot more to it than meets the eye. Ask your heart for wisdom and guidance in this matter. You may be surprised with the information and insights your heart connection brings to you!

Tools For Quieting The Mind

As we begin the New Year, I am reminded there are many who are still searching for meditation methods that work for them. One of the most important aspects of meditation is quieting the mind in order to hear the thoughts and ideas that come from the Void that is Source energy. In today's world, information comes at us at such a rapid rate it can be difficult to close ourselves off from that extraneous noise. Here are a few of the tools I use to help myself unplug from the thoughts of the world and quiet my mind!

Tools For Quieting The Mind:
  1. Exercise. While this may sound strange, exercise is one of my go-to's when it comes to quieting the mind. Whether you are into stretching, cardio, or muscle building, exercise is a great way to relieve stress and tension. The repetitive motions help synchronize the two hemispheres of your brain and make it go into an alpha brainwave state, which puts you in a calm, relaxed frame of mind.
  2. Music. Calm, soothing music--especially music you are familiar with and enjoy--can also bring the brain into synchronization and create brainwave states that relax and help clear your mind. If you are musical, singing or playing a musical instrument can also help.
  3. Hobbies. Whether you are artistic, like to cook, restore old cars or enjoy solving math problems, spending time in a hobby relieves stress and brings happiness and enjoyment that helps calm your brain.
  4. Making Lists. Sometimes, writing down a list of all the things  you need to do or even a list of your problems frees up your mind. Many occasions, your mind continues to dwell on stressors so that you will not forget to take care of them. This is why you can't seem to get things out of your head. When you make a concrete list, you give your brain the internal signal that it no longer needs to remember because you have a written reminder to use later.
  5. Visualization. If you are a visual and imaginative person, you can use your imagination to visualize emptying your mind. For example, imagine a ball of light or an angel beside you. Picture this light being siphoning off all the dark, negative energy inside you. You could also picture your spiritual mentor (like Jesus or Buddha) standing beside you, accepting all your problems and burdens and offering to take them away from you. Understand that any scenario you come up with that helps relieve your mind of its problems is what you need to work toward.
There are many things you can do to quiet you mind and make it easier to connect directly to Source energy. Allow yourself the time you need to take care of self and quieting the mind becomes much easier.
