Getting Back To Our Roots

A good many people in the US believe religion is at the heart of why people came to the New World and that our country was always a "Christian" nation, I'm not buying it. Yes, the most famous group who came over on the Mayflower, the Puritans, came over mainly for religious freedom. Most of the rest were for-profit ventures hoping to exploit potential riches in the New World and claim new territory for their respective kings. What I do believe is this: the people who settled this New World were creative, independent, and responsible and did not need help to make new lives for themselves. It is exactly these roots Americans need to get back to if we are to grow our country great again!

The United States has been hemorrhaging jobs for years now. Americans complain that their jobs are being shipped overseas because of slave labor wages in many 3rd world countries while these same corporations make money hand-over-fist and then hide their extra profits in various ways so they pocket extra money. In my way of thinking, Americans are having job problems because we have become dependent on a system that used to provide for us, but no longer does.

For me, the more recent history of the Industrial Revolution shines a light on our current problems. It was in this age of expansion that Americans began to become less independent. Instead of owning their own farms or businesses, more and more people began to be employed in factories which promised good wages. If you look around at our dying job sector, the jobs that were lost earliest were these factory sorts of jobs. As people lost these factory jobs, they could no longer pay for extra goods and services they had become used to. People who lose jobs or think their jobs might be cut next don't got out to dinner or buy that extra TV. This slows the entire economy down and small businesses begin to go under.

If you haven't figured it out already, we are now in the Information Age. Technology is where our futures lie, although not necessarily in the way people think of it. There is definitely a need to manufacture microchips and other things critical to functioning in this new age. It is no longer about the big corporations, who only know how to suck us all dry. What needs to happen is for us to use this technology to create our own jobs!!!

The United States was not great because big corporations handed Americans jobs. The US was great because we used our brains and our talents to create the lives we wanted to live. We designed products and services and businesses to be proud of!

If the United States of America is to become great again, it will have nothing to do with the big corporations who have taken our livelihoods away. It will be because We the People have created our own lives, independent and free from those who believe they are our masters! It is time to get back to creating our own unique jobs, using the technology available to us. Buy a farm! Help people disconnect from the grid through clean energy technologies! Supply your community with goods and services they can use every day!

Stop believing it is the government's or the corporations' place to get you back on your feet! You are the master of your own fate! Getting back to our roots is all about taking responsibility for our own lives and making things happen! Get up off your butt and do something about it!!!

Animal And Plant Energies

I do not consider myself an animal person. While I typically like them (and they like me back), they don't seem to hold my interest for long. I do have an ongoing love affair with plants. I enjoy being out in nature, soaking in the green that surrounds me and talking to the trees. I have a fairly green thumb when it comes to gardens and houseplants. I even have a wonderful shamrock on my kitchen counter I talk to frequently. I have never really thought about why I prefer plants to animals until today, when I finally asked the question. Plant energies are much more soothing to me than animals energies.

Many people get a great deal of comfort and satisfaction from loving animals. Animals can provide unconditional love that is often lacking in the world today. That said, sometimes the energy that comes from animals can be little too intense for me. It is at times almost frenetic. It requires more interaction than I often have the energy to provide back. Consequently, I have a tendency to hold myself back from animals.

Plant energies are much less intrusive. I can go outside and interact with them when I choose. Their energies are much lower key and in that way less demanding. The interesting thing about my relationship with plants is that I talk to them, and in certain ways they talk back to me. My shamrock is always sure to remind me when he needs more water. When I am walking in the woods, certain trees come into my awareness more than others. It's as if they are calling out to me to pay attention to them specifically. For me it becomes an almost magical experience.

I'm not here to say that communing with plants is better than communing with animals. Communing with plant energies is just more soothing to me personally. I know a good many people who feel the same way about animals. It's all good! No matter what you are drawn to, understand there is probably a reason for it. Allow it to exist without judgment. It is through honoring the various energies around us that we are able to connect and remember that we are all truly One.

Allowing The Pain And Sadness Of Others

I read a meme on social media that struck a chord with me. It said, "When you can't look on the bright side, I will sit with you in the dark." It dawned on me how often we look at the sadness and pain of others and immediately begin trying to comfort them and make them feel better. We give them comfort food, regale them with stories, or take them to movies--anything to distract them from the pain of what they're experiencing. The thing is, often such distraction techniques are counterintuitive. Pain has to be dealt with before it dissipates. Sometimes the best thing you can do is provide companionship to someone who is struggling so they have the added support to deal with it.

One of the most painful things I have ever experienced was losing my newborn daughter. Regardless of the fact that she lived outside my body for less than a day, I knew her. I had spent months dreaming about how her life would go and all the experiences I wanted to share with her. I could see everything in my mind's eye--so perfectly it was almost as though it really existed. Not only did I lose my baby but I lost those dreams of her.

One of the main reasons I was able to deal with my grief in a timely manner was the great support I had from friends. I had spent the past couple of years working as a residence counselor with emotionally disturbed children. Consequently, most of my friends were social workers and psychologists who were used to dealing with big, painful problems in their clients. I had people around me who were strong enough to listen, and they were strong enough to just sit with me in my pain. Having that level of support when I was feeling so much discomfort gave me the courage to face it and deal with it.

It is not easy to allow someone else to feel pain. We are so connected--especially to our friends and family members--that we can feel their pain on an empathetic level. It is natural to want to help them stop hurting. Understand that pain is not something that needs to be fixed. Healing it requires accepting its place in your life and allowing beauty to evolve from it in its own time.

Allowing the pain and sadness of others is one of the greatest gifts you can give them. By sitting with them in that pain, you give support while you encourage healing. Do you have the courage required to be a healer?

Fear And The Powers That Be

My first waking thought this morning was an interesting one. The powers that be are afraid. They're afraid because, for the first time in centuries, they are losing control. They have been losing it for quite a while now. It has just taken them this long to truly absorb the thought.

How do I know? I know because they have not given the final order for the financial collapse to begin. At various times throughout history they have planned economic implosions which are designed to pile more and more money into their hands while removing it from the hands of the masses.

Look at the circumstances surrounding the Great Depression. The wealthiest people all of a sudden sold off massive quantities of stocks, This created a panic because other investors figured the ultra rich knew something they didn't know and began selling their stocks as well. Then there was a run on the banks. Businesses collapsed. After the masses were left jobless and penniless, the ultra rich began buying up "worthless" stocks for pennies on the dollar. This is empire building at its finest.

I look at the world economy today. The derivatives market, which is a ponzi scheme to end all ponzi schemes, should have already collapsed. Derivatives are literally bets that certain assets are going to lose or increase value. Bets! They are not actual, buy-and-sell, tradable assets. The big banks literally have trillions of dollars worth of these bets, and the game is ready to be called. When that happens, pretty much all banks will collapse because theses bets are intricately tied together from one institution to another. All the analysts are saying it is going to happen any day, yet it has not. This situation has continued on for months now.

Why has the system not collapsed? The powers that be know that if they collapse it all now, We the People will rise up and take control. As recently as 2008, the powers that be could have collapsed large portions of it and taken what they wanted from the rubble. We willingly let them bail out the big banks at the time because they convinced us those banks were too big to fail--that everyone's livelihood depended on the big banks staying afloat. In 2016, the masses know enough to not let them get away with it again.

The powers that be continue to nurse their system along. With the help of the mainstream media, which they own, they are able to maintain the illusion that things are okay. It is precarious at best because We the People are angry. That much is obvious by the vast support that has been created for non-mainstream candidates like Sanders and Trump. The powers that be know that, if they continue with their planned implosion, all their power and substance will be lost because the masses will no longer allow them to take everything.

We are on the verge of great change. What will it take to push us over the edge? Once again, change is dependent on us. It is for all of us to wake up and say, "I am not content with the way things are. It is time to take responsibility and take control of what happens in the world."

The shoe is on the other foot. Because we are aware, we are no longer slaves to fear. We understand we are not dependent on the system. We understand we are creators with infinite potential.

It is the powers that be who are afraid. Their time to rule is at an end and they fear what that might look like. It is time to step into our own power and BE the change we wish to see in the world.

Healing And Integrating The Dark Side Of Self

I believe emotions are instructional tools. When we feel strong emotions, those are signals that we need to pay attention to and deal with an underlying issue. Lately what has set my emotions off are the politics being played out on the national (US) stage. It dawns on me this morning that I need to work a little harder at resolving some of these issues with myself.

The person who sets me off the most at present is Hillary Clinton. Because of my dealings with alternative radio, I have done a lot of research into the connections between the occult and power. She has come up frequently in this research. I'm not going to detail what I believe because my issue is not something you need to add to your plate of issues. We all have our own work to do. I bring this up because I want to give you a concrete example of how I am working to heal myself through the issues that come up for me.

When I look at Hillary, I can see that I have personally put up energetic blocks between us. Much of this has been about my own protection from the forces I see around her. The other part of this is not wanting to acknowledge my own evil. The thing is, knowing what I know about Oneness, deep down I understand that Hillary and I are One. To deny her is to deny myself. To deny her is to deny what the contrast of her life has given to me. Without her, I am not able to acknowledge and learn from all that IS. Contrast is one of the best learning tools we have here in duality.

This is why Ho'oponopono is such a spectacularly helpful tool. (For more information on this healing technique, see "The Power Of Ho'oponopono" and "Ho'oponopono Revisited".) In a nutshell, Ho'oponopono is a healing technique that assumes personal responsibility for all the circumstances in our lives. Its four parts (I'm sorry, please forgive me, thank you, I love you) acknowledge the role we have played in the problems that have been created and breaks down the walls we have built that keep ourselves from understanding all that IS. As we give thanks for the awareness, blocked energy is allowed to flow freely once again.

As I look at my own personal hangups with Hillary, I am able to see where my putting her in the "evil" box has had the effect of keeping her there. She is trapped until I understand what I need to see about her, the world, and myself. As I pray and meditate, I apologize for my role in the problem and ask for forgiveness. I thank her for her willingness to help me learn what I came to Earth to learn, and I acknowledge our Oneness through love.

Healing does not come from winning the fight. It comes from letting the fight go and allowing awareness to once again become part of self. As parts of Oneness, Hillary's struggle is my struggle, just as my struggle is hers. By acknowledging the roles of others, we allow what IS to exist freely in flow. We are able to integrate and heal the darker side of self.

The One Thing That Will Save Us

The savior mentality. It's pervasive in the world today. People are convinced one change will be the catalyst that will start us back on an uphill path. The thought is that, if we change to this different system or ask one certain person to lead us, the problems will begin to work themselves out. Therein lies the problem. No one institution or person can fix anything. Our problems are collective and require a collective solution.

I look at the Christian community from which I came. People there are waiting for Jesus to come back and save the day. He is supposed to gather up his elect and judge and punish those who persist in their evil. The problem as I see it is twofold. First of all, as humans we are all equal parts good and bad. How will that differentiate one group from another? (And don't use the programmed answered that only God or Jesus can judge!) This thinking is separation in motion. The second part is the fact they are counting on something outside themselves to save them rather than taking personal responsibility for the world's problems.

People also believe politics and politicians can save us. To me, this is the most ludicrous idea we've ever come up with! When have politicians or their political systems ever been solutions to the world's problems? Believing that capitalism will save us or socialism will save us is problematic because the perspectives are limited and don't take all angles or facets into account. If a politician does happen to have integrity, what he/she can do is limited because no one else does. Politics is a cooperative effort if anything is to be accomplished. Finally, we are once again looking for solutions to come from somewhere outside ourselves.

I honestly do believe there is one thing that will save us. What is that one thing, you ask? The one thing that has the potential to save us all is to learn to connect to all that IS--Oneness--by connecting to our hearts.  Oneness IS the collective consciousness. Consulting Oneness is about dropping our own personal egos and allowing ourselves to function in the collective. This Oneness will then allow us to understand what we can personally do to benefit the collective. It is when we act from this place that the magic will happen.

Direction from Oneness does not necessarily "make sense" to our programmed minds. Often what seems ludicrous to our rational (programmed) minds will eventually take us to the place where our actions benefit the collective. It is a very different way of thinking and acting, and one that most of us have been afraid to try (even though we do occasionally get inspiration from Oneness and act on it).

When we are finally willing to drop our egos and connect to Oneness, we work together in harmony. Our hearts and minds sync up as we allow ourselves to become One.

Welcome To The Dog And Pony Show!

Politics are running hot and heavy here in the United States, and I am amazed at the vast numbers of people who are so preoccupied with them. Like countries all over the world, our economy has taken a nosedive since the crash of '08. Politics are thought to play a key role because of the supposed power politicians have to make or break a country's economy depending on laws they create. Personally, I am convinced this charade is nothing more than a dog and pony show--entertainment for the masses to distract them from those in the background actually making the decisions.

The Presidential race is particularly entertaining this year. There is a whole lineup of Republican wannabe's. Current and former governors and senators. A big-mouthed businessman. Even a medical doctor. One of them I would call a pretty boy. Another is a bigger liar than all of them combined (which is saying a lot in a group of politicians). None of them make me want to break down the doors of my city hall to go vote for them.

The Democratic side contains a wishy-washy (and evil) woman and an older politician who may have some integrity, but I still have a problem with the fact he has been a successful politician as long as he has. It's hard to make it to that level of politics without having compromised your soul in some way.

The best part of the show is the actual voting process. This is the part of the spectacle where the general population becomes convinced they actually have a say in the way it all turns out! We watch as individual states caucus or vote their way into choosing a candidate to represent their states--and we believe the tallies are accurate!!! This process I equate more to a very skilled magician, distracting us with one hand while the other hand screws with the totals.

All this happens because we still naively believe the people in power are basically just like us--imperfect people living the best they know how. What we fail to recognize is that most of the people we believe we have put in power sold us out to wealthy influence peddlers a long time ago.

So go ahead...play your little games. Debate the supposed issues of the day! Unfriend your brother-in-law! Repeat the talking points of your favorite candidate! Ponder and argue, then argue some more! Continue to revel in your separation!!! The end result will always be the same muck we continue to roll around in. Welcome to the dog and pony show!

If you ever decide to leave your seat at the circus and enter the real world, you may just discover you have the power to solve the problems that face us today!

The Value Of Money

I saw a meme being promoted in social media the other day. It was written to promote a conservative political agenda, but as I looked at what was said it dawned on me that is was based on our current system of valuing money--a system I believe to be highly flawed. Regardless, it made me ask myself some hard questions.

The post read as follows:

  • FASCISM: The government orders you to give the fruits of your labors to others. If you refuse, the government arrests you.
  • COMMUNISM: The government takes the fruits of your labors and gives them to others. If you refuse, the government arrests you.
  • SOCIALISM: The government politely takes the fruits of your labors and gives them to others. If you refuse, the government arrests you.
  • DEMOCRATIC SOCIALISM: At the request of 51% of the voters, the government politely takes the fruits of your labors and gives them to others. If you refuse, the government arrests you.
It was obviously written to make people angry that their value/energy/money is being forcibly taken and given to others who "don't deserve it." My question is, if our money became worthless tomorrow, how would we go about getting the goods and services we need?

The most logical answer would be to barter. It would be easy for the actual producers of goods and services to get the resources they needed. Farmers, doctors, furniture makers, etc. would be in the clear. What about teachers, social workers, and garbage collectors? How would all that work? I believe the powers that be want us to think it would all end up in chaos and that a state of martial law would have to be proclaimed. I personally believe humans are much better than that.

At the present time, there are people who give value/energy every day that do not get paid for it in money. Many caregivers take care of their own children or an elderly parent with no energy given back for it in return. What about the starving artist, who has talent but requires people with loads of money to buy his work? Should he be forced to use his energy in a job field that does pay money but does not use his talents? What such circumstances say to me is that our value system has gotten seriously warped. Why are we not allowed to use our gifts and energy in meaningful ways--in ways that make our hearts sing with purpose?

When we limit the value of money/energy with society's current norms, we limit who we allow ourselves to BE. Most of us go through life running on a hamster wheel, working hard but going nowhere because our energy/value/money ends up in the hands of a relative few. It often takes real creativity to build yourself a niche where you can get paid to do something you love.

It is time to think differently about what money is and what earning it should mean (as opposed to what it means at present). When we solve this problem, it will no longer be about having our energy/value stolen from us. It will be a mutually beneficial giving and receiving that will bring peace and prosperity to all.

Ramblings Of A Mad Woman

I will claim it. I am mad in both definitions of the word! I am crazy and angry, and at this point in time I really don't care who knows. For all intents and purposes, I am a conspiracy theorist--have been for a number of years now. The irony here is, I am no longer angry at the powers that be. I am angry with my fellow conspiracy theorists.

Why am I angry with my fellow conspiracy theorists? While they like to discuss all the alternative news available, they aren't doing anything to further the cause of truth. In fact, most of them are still so caught up in the programming the cabal has wrapped us up in they still continue to play the game!!! It's playing the game that pisses me off so much!!!

For example, many of my conspiracy theory friends still believe that one party has some moral superiority over the other. For crying out loud! Haven't you figured out BOTH parties are equally rotten? Granted, some people are worse than others. Some ideologies are truly immoral in so many ways. That doesn't mean that professing one good thing makes you a good candidate! More than likely they are just blowing smoke up your butt like they always do to try to persuade you to vote for them! There is a reason voting feels like choosing the lesser of two evils! It's because we ARE choosing the lesser of two evils!!! Choosing evil only perpetuates the problem!!!

Voting is another issue I have a problem with. There is no doubt in my mind the powers that be have the power to fix elections. They manipulate caucuses. They miscount or lose paper ballots. They even fix votes by programming our black box computers to ever-so-subtly change the votes to their party's candidate. I know a lot of supposedly awake people who believe their vote actually still makes a difference! Bah humbug!!!

Another game conspiracy theorists still play is believing that one group or another is going to ride in on a white horse (or in a white hat) and save the day! Fact of the matter is, there is no savior! No one is coming to fix the world, not even God. We are totally responsible for fixing it ourselves! The belief in a savior is a mind control program that has been so ingrained in our subconscious that we all look for solutions to our problems outside ourselves. Such a belief takes us out of our own power and places us in the control of others. It is only by looking within and connecting to our hearts that we find the power to take care of our own problems.

The worst thing conspiracy theorists do is to tear each other down. We have a tendency to call one another out for something that is not totally on the up-and-up. I've got news for you. Nobody is totally on the up-and-up!!! It's called being human, and we all struggle in a continuous battle between the dark half and the light half of ourselves!!! While it's true that some of the things we do might be counterintuitive, the fact that there are things we achieve that weaken the powers that be do matter. Pointing out our neighbor's flaws only serves to separate us from each other, allowing the cabal to continue on in their dark ways.

Until we all wake up and decide to take responsibility for what happens on this planet, we will continue to live in the muck. It is no longer okay to just accept the status quo! It is time to search your own heart for the answers you seek. When you get the inspiration to do something, follow that instinct! It is only through following the advice and wisdom from our hearts that the puzzle pieces begin to fall into place. Trust the One to be able to put it all together into one beautiful whole.

Trusting The Divine

In some respects, my life was much easier when I was a Christian. I believed God had a plan for my life. I just sat back and watched it all unfold and accepted that what happened was supposed to happen for my benefit. All I needed to do was acknowledge him and try to live the sort of life the Bible prescribed. The positive aspect of this life was that I was able to live in a state of flow because I always trusted God had my back.

When I began to understand that religion had been put into place to control the masses, the foundation I had built my life on tumbled to the ground. Over time, I have been able to rebuild my life, but it has been a struggle. What I have fought with most is the concept of trust. As I no longer had a working definition for what God is, I struggled to trust something that I couldn't even define.

Trust is important for a smooth life. When you trust, it is much easier to survive the upsets because you understand they will pass and your life will get better once again. You know that some unseen force is standing behind you, enabling you to power on. When you lack trust, you are in the ultimate state of separation. You see yourself as the only thing you can rely on. When you fail, there is nothing else left to support you. You are alone in the world.

The truth is, we are all on this journey together. There are physical realms and spiritual realms, and we can connect with them any time we wish through intention because we are all connected. We are all One.

Life is not about living a life designed by something outside ourselves. Life is created by a force that flows through us and everything else. This force is us. Because all things are connected to it, all that IS works together to support us all. We are literally supported by everything! Trusting the divine becomes a matter of acknowledging our connection to all that IS and understanding we are fully supported by it.

The Benefits Of Being Silent

From an early age, I craved alone time. Most days I would sit alone in my room reading, or I would be out exploring the trees and plants in my yard. I know now a lot of it was because I was highly empathic, and being alone brought me peace. Still, there are many things to gain when you sit in silence.

When you take the time to sit in silence, you are able to get to know self. You can explore your likes and dislikes by asking questions. You can learn about the things that bring you down and the things that inspire you--in other words what to stay away from and what to go after. You can explore your feelings and learn even more.

When you are silent, you can learn about the energies around you. Everything has energy/frequency. Most days we take these energies for granted because most of the things we observe are so common. Furniture, vehicles, plants, animals, etc. Believe it or not, these things even have personalities! It's easy to relate to when it comes to animals. Their energies are similar enough to our own that we often have relationships with them. Others are more difficult. The irony is, there are often things in our lives we have relationships with, but we take them as jokes. For example, how many of us have named our cars? (Or plants, or anything else?) How many of us talk to those same cars? Like I said, we joke around about it, but the next time you do it think about it for a moment. Did you get anything back? A thought or a feeling, perhaps?

There are even energies around that do not have a physical presence, but it is possible to sense them when you take time to be silent. You may have been taught such things are only your imagination, but think about this: Thoughts themselves have energy. I have learned information from beings I would call elementals all because I allowed myself to be open to the possibility of their existence.

There is much to be learned when you take the time to sit in silence. Allow yourself to explore the unseen energies and information in your world. You never know what else might be accomplished when you take the time to understand the more subtle energies around you.

For a simple technique to help clear your mind and get you started, read here (The Space Between Thoughts Meditation).

Re-Experiencing Happy

I have been going through some very big changes in my life. Consequently, there has been some sadness with the loss of certain things. At times such as these, it becomes increasingly important to do what I can to keep my energy/frequency at a high level. Lately, I've been doing a very simple exercise which helps me find my happy place once again.

I sit back in a quiet place, focus on my breathing a few minutes (which helps me keep my spirit within my body and in the present), and begin to ask myself some questions. I begin with, "What memories do I carry inside myself where I was happy?" I then progress to questions like, "What was it about this experience specifically that made me happy?" I try to ascertain if it was due to the people I was with, the type of experience, whether I felt good about myself in that moment, and other sorts of information that might be pertinent to happiness.

Once I have identified a happy experience, I use my imagination to put myself back into that moment. I see what was around me. I hear the sounds. I remember smells and tastes and any other sensory memory my mind can identify. Then I allow myself the luxury of sitting in that moment of bliss. Time stands still as I bask in the feelings of that moment. Within a very short time, I have regained my sense of happiness. Depression leaves and I feel much more energetic and empowered.

We all have the ability to raise our frequencies in times of pain or sadness. All it takes is a little focus and a few good memories to make you understand that life can be good again. Re-experiencing happy can be a way of life if this is what you choose to create. The choice is always yours.

Let Your Light Shine!

Be the light you were born to be!

~CSE

The Law Of Attraction And Darkness

I am a believer in the law of attraction. You do get more of what you think about and dwell on. That is where the problems begin in the New Age community. There are many out there who refuse to believe that darkness even exists. It's almost as though, if they stop thinking about evil, it will go away altogether. The irony comes when they encounter evil. If they don't believe in it and didn't think it into existence, where did it come from? Darkness has always existed with the light. You may be able to hide from the darkness at times, but it will eventually find you again. Sooner or later, darkness must be dealt with.

It's a simple truth of this duality that we live in. We need darkness if we are to appreciate and understand light. While you may cling fast to the light, darkness still exists in the world around you. Darkness still exists in you! Resisting darkness only makes it worse because you are, in effect, focusing on it and drawing it more closely to you.

Understand that resistance is an energy block, and blocks are what stop flow and abundance from entering into your life. The more you resist darkness, the more you block the free flow of energy toward you and away from you.

Martin Luther King, Jr. once said:
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
For me, this is the wisdom of the Universe! This is the very strategy that made the civil rights movement in the United States work! It wasn't their resistance that worked even though their resistance supplied the contrast. What worked is the fact they did not respond back with violence. Because MLK and his followers were peaceful in the face of great abuse, others who looked at the situation began to understand the darkness that limited the freedom of black people in this country. The darkness was acknowledged for the ugliness it was, and people could no longer accept that treatment as the status quo.

What's the solution when we encounter darkness? Understand that it is here for the contrast. Thank it for the understanding it is brings. Then, instead of resisting it, love it! Bestow it with all the equal and opposite feelings you can muster! It needs healing! It needs to be balanced out in order to restore the equilibrium once again.

We can never truly get away from darkness because darkness is part of everything that is, including ourselves. Accept it. Deal with it. Love it. Bring it back into the fold. When we are done looking upon darkness as the enemy and resisting it, we are one step closer to peace.

The Separation Mindset

If there's one thing that gets me about the conspiracy theory crowd, it's their tendency to determine who the "good" guys and the "bad" guys are in the overall scheme of things. Who is helping our planet? Who is hurting our planet? Who are we going to throw our support behind? The fact of the matter is, this is the separation mindset and we cannot fix the world's problems from that place.

What if I told you that we are all here to fix the planet? How can destructive people be here to help fix the planet, you ask? People who do seemingly negative or destructive things are here to supply contrast. They are here to wreak so much havoc they wake up the most stubborn and resistant couch potatoes on the planet!

I have to confess, I am a fan of the Gospel of Judas. This uncannonized book is the story of Judas, the character the Bible blames for betraying Jesus to authorities, and it sheds a very different light on his life. Instead of being the betrayer, Judas tells the authorities who Jesus was because Jesus asked him to. This was done (supposedly) so that Jesus' life would go according to plan--the bad bringing about the good and desired outcome.

We are spiritual beings having a human experience. This human experience is not meant to be perfect. It is meant to be sticky, dirty and disagreeable. It is these "negative" experiences that supply the contrast we need to thoroughly understand each element in its individuality. This means exploring both sides of the spectrum--the bad and the good. In the grand scheme of things, there is no bad even though in our 3D existence we believe there are bad things. In Oneness, the contrast is evened out to the point where everything is joy.

As long as we focus on good, bad, and choosing sides, we are stuck in the separation mindset. This separation mindset keeps us from working together and creating the solutions we need to heal the planet. It keeps us from remembering that we are all One.

The answers lie within. Learn to drop the idea of blame and follow the direction of the heart. The separation mindset will become a thing of the past. We can retain the lesson, all the while healing ourselves and the planet.

If We Lived From The Heart

I talk a lot about the world making the transition from living from the mind to living from the heart, but it occurs to me that is not as easily understood as I would like it to be. People think they know what that means. Often, they conclude that thinking from the heart would mean chaos and confusion as all logic and common sense is lost in the emotional onslaught. Honestly, that doesn't sound like a place I would want to live in either. There is logic and common sense involved in living from the heart. What is lost is judgment.

The way we function now--which I like to call from the mind--is thoroughly encased in judgment. For example, people who worship the god Science actively look for truth by engaging in experiments and basing conclusions on those findings. While I believe there is value in such an approach to life, I also believe it is limited. People who rely mainly on science to explain the world around them are subject to not only the biases of the people running the experiments, but they can also be controlled and manipulated by outright lies presented by some of these "scientists". People who rely solely on the mind cannot tap into the guidance of their intuitions in order to ascertain who is lying and who is credible. They become prey to those who would deceive them for power or gain.

People who live their lives through religion also function largely from the mind. Such people use the holy books of their religions and the personal teachings they have either grown up with or chosen as adults to shape their actions. Even though some of these people actually do end up having some sort of encounter with the Divine, they end up defining it through their religious perspective, limiting what they allow that experience to be and never quite fully engaging their hearts/intuitions. Questioning the basic tenants of most religions can result in excommunication and eternal hell.

Living from the heart is more of a blank canvas which you continue to create as time goes on. Instead of looking outside yourself for answers, you internally ask what you should do in this moment of now. Looking within is key because it is your heart that connects you to everything that exists (what I call Oneness).

To illustrate the differences between each perspective, let's look at a murder. This particular murder is one where the person killed his entire family in a drug induced rage. From a science-based mind approach, a person might see someone who is terribly addicted to drugs and out of control. Of course this person needs to be locked up, probably for life. He can be treated for the drug addiction, but there is always the possibility that he is beyond hope as his brain may have been permanently damaged from the drugs.

From a religious, mind-based approach, one might see a lost soul who has chosen to live without God. Not only does the murderer need to repent of his sins, but he is also in need of accepting the services of a personal savior in order to escape the fiery pits of hell. In this lifetime he may be offered treatment and counseling services, which could help some. However, life imprisonment and even a death sentence might be more in line with the nature of the crime.

In a heart-based perspective, a person would look at the murderer and ask internally what they need to see and know about this situation. This person might be guided to the physical aspects of the addiction, but also the conditions that led to the addiction in the first place. Former abuse could be uncovered. Pain, hurt and confusion would run deep within the murderer, and the heart is what would uncover it. Yes, the person would still be locked up, but they would be treated with compassion. If there is a way to heal the murderer, the heart will find it.

Today's world is one where we function as if one size fits all. The simple truth is, each situation we encounter is just as distinct and different as each individual on the planet. The mind likes to sort these things in boxes. The heart allows for these individual differences and provides for the needs of each one. The more we incorporate such thinking into our BEing, the closer we are to creating the world of our dreams!

The Space Between Thoughts Meditation

Today, I want to share a very simple technique to help you clear your mind and consciously connect to the space where God/Source can actually speak to you and provide you with the answers you need in your daily life.

  1. Find a quiet place where you can sit in a comfortable position without interruption. Consciously ask for freedom from interruption and protection from any energy that may wish to interfere or harm.
  2. Take several minutes to focus on your breathing, allowing yourself to inhale through your nose, exhale through your mouth. Picture tensions leaving your body as you exhale. Imagine breathing in positive energies when you inhale.
  3. Center yourself fully in your body in the Now by focusing on the beat/beat of your own heart. Feel the life force flow through yourself as your heart pumps blood/energy throughout your body. Stay in this space for several minutes.
  4. Expand your energy/spirit beyond your own physical body as you stay centered in your physical body. Allow your spiritual body to become so large it has no physical limitations and is part of the infinite.
  5. See the word BELIEVE on the picture screen of your mind. Notice the shape of each letter and how they all look together. Focus on this word for several minutes so it is clearly etched in your consciousness.
  6. Without erasing the word BELIEVE, see the word RECEIVE on the picture screen in your mind. Focus solely on the word RECEIVE for several minutes until it is firmly locked in place there.
  7. Now look at the two words together, focusing on the space in between the two words. Expand this space so it is big enough for you to enter inside of it. Allow yourself to stand in this space between the two words and rest within it. Feel how light the space is. This is a place you can go to in order to renew yourself. Take the time to get to know it and experience it in this moment of Now without judging it or yourself.
By consciously connecting to the space between words, it is possible to quickly and easily clear your mind of the noise of everyday living. The more you practice this simple technique, the more quickly you can enter a space where your mind is not taking over. You are able to access the guidance and wisdom of the One because you are in a space where you are thinking/feeling with your heart.

Dropping Ego

We are all aware of what the word ego means. The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines ego as "the self, especially as contrasted with another self or the world." What strikes me about this definition of ego is that it is based in separation. Ego is the individual you when separated from everything else. Why would we need to drop ego at this critical time? We need to drop ego because the problems we have in the world today have been created within a state of separation.

When I look at my own ego, I see problems. It's my ego that gets offended when someone treats me poorly. If I allow myself to stay in ego instead of reverting back to my BEing (that is joined with Oneness), I will act out aggressively instead of understanding their poor treatment is the result of the abuses they themselves have suffered at the hands of others acting through ego. It's my own ego that seeks to build itself up instead of acknowledging the value and worth of others. This, in turn, feeds into all the other separation that is in the world. While ego has been necessary to experience duality in a conscious way, we have come to a point in time where it has created enough separation we will destroy the planet. We need to get ego under control if we are to survive.

Dropping ego requires opening the heart and living from that place. This is because our hearts are what connect us to Oneness. Oneness is the space where the illusion of separation is shattered. It is within Oneness that the solutions we seek for our dying world come to light because everything exists there. All information is accessible. It is from the heart that we understand what is necessary for the health and well-being of the whole.

We cannot solve problems through the same thinking that created them. It is in ego the problems were created in the first place. It is time to drop the separation mindset. It is time to drop the ego and learn to live together as One.

Time To Think Differently

Our financial system (and world structure) is falling apart. The news may be reporting that everything is okay--that it's just another slump that will be followed by another recovery, but the world as we know it is in the midst of great change. The outcome will not be determined by those who have had power for so long. It will be determined by We the People. If we are to survive the changes intact, we must begin to think differently.

The same old reliance on the system will no longer work if the system is gone. It is dying because it was based on lies. Our countries do not "owe" interest to the banks, any more than we as individuals do. The financial system we have always known was put together in order to claim and consolidate the world's wealth and power into the hands of a relative few. It is based on fiat currency (aka literally fake, created-out-of-thin-air money). It has no basis in reality. It has been used to skew the true value of pretty much everything.

For example, people who work in certain industries (such as retail and food service) do not get paid according to the work effort they put in. Such jobs can be physically demanding as well as mentally, emotionally, and spiritually demanding as needy consumers try to extract what has been taken away from them in their own personal lives. Arguing that such jobs are not rocket science and do not deserve better pay only enables those at the top of the power structure to take even more. Fact of the matter is, not everyone can be a rocket scientist. That said, not everyone can be a waiter or a garbage collector, or a certified nursing assistant either. My question to you is, where would the rocket scientist be without the waiter, or the garbage collector, or the certified nursing assistant? He/she would end up getting his/her own food, surrounded by mounds of garbage, all the while not having time to do the rocket science job because all his/her time is being spent taking care of grandma!

We are dependent and interdependent on each other! To think more highly of some and less highly of others serves no useful purpose except to separate us even further and keep a warped and twisted society in place.

We the People have the ability to survive and even thrive! When we accept that our old society no longer serves us, we will be able to look at our world through new eyes. We will see possibilities where only problems existed previously.

It takes great courage to survive the coming changes, but you have withstood the test and are still here (and reading this)! It is up to all of us to create a functioning new world out of the rubble. It is why we are here. It is time to think differently!

Forgiveness: It's All About YOU!!!

I'm going to say something a little controversial, but hear me out. We have a tendency to believe that forgiveness is something we do for someone else--that having forgiveness miraculously bestows some tremendous blessing or favor on whomever or whatever has betrayed us. The fact of the matter is, we don't forgive in order to benefit others. We forgive to benefit ourselves!

Our society has forgiveness all wrong. Forgiveness is not about righting a wrong. It is not about absolving someone of their sin. By offering forgiveness we are not letting someone else get away with wrongdoing. Forgiveness is about letting go of blocked or stagnant energy.

Let's break down a situation where forgiveness is required. Pretend your significant other cheats on you with another person. You feel hurt, used, neglected. You stop trusting. Immediately a wall comes up between yourself and this person who has harmed you. You are the one who has put the wall in place in order to shield yourself from further betrayal. What you have essentially done is blocked the flow of energy between yourself and your significant other. You are also choosing to hold on to the pain of the situation by keeping the action within the forefront your mind.

Who is hurt by holding on to pain? The person holding the pain! Somehow we convince ourselves we are hurting the other person back by holding onto this pain. While acting and feeling hurt will sometimes make the offender feel guilt or remorse, more often than not it has little or no effect on them.

There are times when we are so upset about the pain we lash out in retaliation. This is where the laws of karma come around and bite you back. Ultimately, we cling to the hurt so tightly we end up victimizing ourselves even more.

When we choose forgiveness, it is not about allowing the offender to get away with something harmful. Forgiveness is the choice we make to let go of the pain. It does not require that you take the offender back into close association. It may not be in your best interest to pick up where you left off as the offender will not have changed in any substantial way. Forgiveness allows you to forge ahead in a more positive state of mind as you let go of your energetic block.

Forgiveness is not something we do for others. Forgiveness is something we do to benefit ourselves and our own lives. It allows us to take down the walls created by pain and move beyond them, enabling ourselves to be the powerful creators of our lives we were designed to be.

Allowing Pain

Many of us make our choices in life based on avoiding pain. We run away. We ignore. We distract ourselves with other activities. What we fail to consider is the benefit pain can bring. Pain does not have to be the terrible thing our minds have created it to be.

When you choose to look at and explore your pain, it is very much like intentionally stepping into a fire. Yes. The fire is hot and unpleasant. In our minds the fire is consuming--devouring. We fear that stepping into the fire will literally kill us and turn us to ash.

The real process is much different. The fire is not designed to destroy us. The fire is designed to refine us. We are very much like precious metal. When the metal is placed into the fire, it melts and changes shape. Impurities are burned off. What is left is a much more perfect and pliable substance, capable of fitting in to places it would never have fit into before.

Allowing pain is all part of the perfecting process. It helps us let go of things that no longer serve us. It can change our focus and enable  us proceed in a new direction. It can even help us let go of ego so that we are better able to connect to our hearts and to Oneness. When have taken the time to allow our pain and make peace with it, progress is made. We are different. Changed. New.

Take the time to sit with pain in your own life. Allow yourself to feel it. Cry. Throw a tantrum. Do what needs to be done to accept it, make peace with it, and move on. By allowing pain, you take down the walls you have created to keep you "safe" and allow the energy to flow once again.

Identifying Judgment

We all live in judgment. I have spent the past several years trying to identify the judgment I carry around in order to let go of it. Why? Judgment is all about separation. In my quest to BE unconditional love, I do not want there to be anything that stands in my way, especially myself and my ego.

I'm going to pick on vegans to illustrate my point about judgment. Understand there are vegans out there who do not fall into this category, and I am really not trying to badmouth any vegan's goals or life choices. I honestly appreciate the fact they do not want to harm animals. There is definitely value in this point of view.

What gets me about vegans is you almost always know they are vegans. They shun all animal products--including clothing--and are usually very vocal about why. Why am I using vegans to illustrate my point about judgment? Vegans are a group that often hold the idea they are superior because of their vegan standards. This is why many vegans become activists. They want to push their judgment onto everyone else. They want you to know what an awful murderer you are because you eat their friends.

I have found most of my personal judgment revolves around my very Christian upbringing. Even with all the time and effort I have put into overcoming my judgment, I still feel twinges of judgment when I run into someone who does something my background has taught me is a "sin".

How do I know I have run into judgment? I know because I feel myself holding back from someone or something else. I do not freely exchange energy with them. I do not love them unconditionally. While this might seem like self-preservation at times, I don't believe the ultimate goal for our lives here on Earth is separation.

When we learn to identify the judgment we carry around, we can sit with it and allow it. In doing so, we are able to accept all those things considered bad or good in ourselves and others. Ultimately, it leads us back to our hearts. It leads us back to unconditional love. It leads us to Oneness. It leads us home.

Arguing For Your Limitations

Author Richard Bach (of Jonathan Livingston Seagull fame) once wrote:
Argue for your limitations, and sure enough they're yours.
In this day and age, we argue about everything. Conservatives bemoan the fact that there is too much government regulation, too many government programs that serve the lazy, too much tax, not enough religion. Liberals cry out that capitalism is evil, regulation is necessary because people can't control themselves, taxes need to be used to create more financial balance in the system.

What if we all stepped back and took a look at the boxes we believe ourselves to be in? Are poor people really lazy? Is capitalism evil? (Is socialism?) Are corporations greedy? Regardless of the memes we choose to run our lives by, is it necessary to be limited to these memes at all? The fact of the matter is, when we choose to label ourselves and others we limit what we allow ourselves and others to BE.

What if we stopped placing ourselves and others in predetermined boxes? What if we stopped focusing on how we are different from each other and instead began seeing each other as One? What would that look like?

Creation begins when you allow yourself to envision new possibilities. Albert Einstein came up with powerful equations and theories in the world of physics by looking at things from different perspectives (like actually picturing himself riding on a beam of light). J.K. Rowling conceived a whole new world of magic by allowing herself to ask what a magical world would look like.

Limitations exist because we refuse to see beyond them. All you do when you argue for your side (aka your limitations) is keep yourself inside the box. Argue for your limitations, and they are most definitely yours!

Taking Responsibility For Our World

With all the hype and hoopla that surrounds the Superbowl here in the United States, I was once again reminded that the Superbowl also brings pain and misery to thousands every year. The Superbowl is the most highly trafficked weekend of the year in terms of human trafficking here in the US. While many of us sit around eating snack foods and enjoying the game, people are being sold to high bidders behind closed doors.

Ignoring the problem will not make it go away. In fact, I will go so far as to say that we are all to blame for this state of affairs. That's right. It is OUR FAULT!!! While we don't necessarily go out and participate in the trafficking, we are all more than willing to turn a blind eye to it.

The problems we have in the world today all exist because, at some level, we all choose to be unaware. We choose to not see and not understand because it gives us freedom from responsibility. Yes, we often pay lip service to the corruption on our planet, but we do not truly want to get our hands dirty.

We have arrived at a time when the evil is so far out of control that we must stand up to it or be lost. We can no longer just sit back and allow ourselves to be entertained by the bread and circuses they leave for us to distract us from the evil.

It is time to wake up. It is time to stand up. It is time to raise our voices as ONE and choose to love each other so much we will not allow anyone else to suffer needlessly again. What affects one person affects us all.

The world will not change until we do. Take responsibility for yourself and the world around you, and others will wake up and begin taking responsibility as well.

Are You Ready For The Coming Change?

Whether we want it or not, change is coming. BIG change. As more and more people wake up to the corruption that has become an integral part of our world, the crazier the world seems to become. We are so close to the tipping point it has become obvious to anyone even a little sensitive to others. The world is ripe for change.

Survival will come down to one thing: how willing we are to let go of the world we have always known. The powers that be have done a great job of convincing us their system is just the way things are--that all hell will break loose if their power structure is not kept in place. This is the ultimate lie. What their power structure holds in place is their own wealth and power. It also keeps you from taking responsibility for yourself and reclaiming your own power.

Growing pains are typically associated with change. This is why so many people you know have been dying lately. We all sense that something new is coming. Some people are so entrenched in the system they believe chaos is inevitable when the old system ceases to exist. They are afraid to live in a world they do not understand and cannot anticipate. Their downfall is their unwillingness to step up and create their own world.

Now is the time to rethink how the world is run. Do we continue to argue for its limitations, or do we tap into our hearts and begin to create new ways of functioning where everyone benefits? The more willing we are to let go of the things that no longer serve us, the easier our transition will be. Living in flow requires the ability to let go. Clinging to anything that no longer serves is a block that will hold us up and keep us from the abundance we all truly deserve.

Are you ready to welcome the coming change, or will you make it more difficult on yourself by clinging to old ways of doing things? The choice is yours.

The Universe Has Your Back!

It's amazing what can happen when you begin searching for answers and asking questions! Somehow, the Universe responds to the change in energy and presents new options! Seemingly impossible outcomes suddenly appear to be within reach. Even when we don't understand, the Universe has our backs!

I have overcome quite a lot in my fifty years of life. Some of my biggest obstacles (and opportunities) have been the result of a rather troubled relationship with my daughter. While I will not go into details at this time, our relationship has been a bit of a roller coaster ride even though we both love and care for each other tremendously.

Over the past couple of years, I have taken a hard look at my role in this scenario. I definitely have some codependent sort of behaviors that enable the troubled relationship between myself and my daughter. Although only my daughter can make choices for herself, the energy/frequency I project can influence her actions and reactions toward me. Changing my personal frequency into something that will encourage a healthier relationship has become key to what I wish to change about myself.

The past couple of weeks have been ones of profound change for my daughter. She has begun to recognize things in herself she wishes to change and is taking corrective action. What strikes me as interesting is, even though I was not aware of many of the changes she has been making at a personal level, the Universe has been preparing me for the changes! Through connecting to my heart and the Universe, I have been given the information I needed to prepare for what lies ahead. Even though my rational mind has been shocked at the changes, my heart has already seen such outcomes and was not taken by surprise.

My daughter and I are in the middle of this new journey, so I can't say exactly where it will lead. I just know that awarenesses have been given and miracles put into place. When you connect to the divine information within, you don't often see more than one step at a time. You begin a journey of faith--of trust in the Universe.

When you believe you are fully supported in your efforts, you are. The Universe really does have your back! Learn to trust it.

The World Evolving

There is a farm deep in the breadbasket of California known as Singing Frogs Farm. It is a very small (around 8 acres) organic farm run by former Peace Corps volunteers, Paul and Elizabeth Kaiser. What makes the farm something extra is the fact that they not only produce bumper crops of vegetables rich in nutrients, but they manage to earn $100,000 per acre of ground using very little water and a no till approach. They even pulled off this miracle in the middle of the California drought!

How does this happen? It happens because they think outside the box. They innovate and experiment and look for strategies that fit their particular environment. They look for ways to compliment and enrich Mother Earth. It isn't a competitive approach. It is one of dependence and interdependence, human and earth living in harmony.

If the world is to survive, this is exactly the approach we need to take. It is not about competition. While we've been trained to believe that survival of the fittest crap, that is not our true nature. We act competitively, yet deeper down we have the very real capacity to work together to accomplish great things--things that our minds tell us are impossible but our hearts know to be very possible.

It takes thinking outside the box. It takes listening to and acting on the guidance and wisdom of the heart. It is a very different way of thinking and acting than we have been taught, and it is not an easy transition for most of us.

The fact that the Kaisers were former Peace Corps volunteers says something to me. It says they came into the world wanting to help. It tells me they know how to think with their hearts. They have followed their hearts into this arena of organic farming to a place where the fruit of their labors are not only healthy, but profitable! They are pioneers in the forefront of an evolving world.

We all need this pioneering spirit again! The world has problems, but they can be overcome. They cannot be overcome through competition and the usual corporate mentality that has been touted to save us. This approach is killing us and the planet.

It is time to begin using our hearts to lead us to a healthier and more productive place. The world is evolving. Time to get to work and move it along into a stronger and more positive way of life!

The Difference Between Victim And Victor

You see them everywhere: victims and victors. Some people seemingly go through life with a black cloud overhead. Other people appear to waltz through life easily, without any major bumps along the way. While the circumstances of both look like a matter of luck, the difference has nothing to do with luck. The difference between victim and victor is responsibility.

Victims play the game of everything being the fault of someone else. Victims never deserve what happens to them. They just happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and the people with the real power take advantage. The fact of the matter is, if you believe yourself to be powerless to change your circumstances, you are powerless. You become the victim at every turn.

Victors are very different. It isn't that bad things don't happen to them. Bad things happen to everyone. Victors have a unique mindset. Instead of sitting back and watching things happen, they take responsibility and take control. When something bad happens, they look at the situation and say, "What can I do to change this?" They then begin to take corrective action. They may not be successful on the first or even the hundredth attempt. They just keep trying different things until they hit upon an idea that works. While it appears that victors have an easy life, they have just learned to take responsibility for what happens to them. They roll with the punches and do not let the negative get them down for long.

Do you feel in control of your life, or are you enslaved by the actions of others? Only you can save yourself. Accept responsibility for what happens in your life and you will transition from victim to victor.

The Language Of Frequency

What if I told you that everything has a sort of consciousness? We are not trained to think that way. We believe humans are at the top of the food chain because we have the ability to think and move and communicate. Animals come in second, largely because we can see they have many of these same abilities. Everything else that makes up this planet--plants, water, minerals, etc.--is seen as useful but not conscious. The consciousness I am referring to can be experienced and understood as frequency, and, yes, literally everything carries one!

For people who are sensitive to energy, frequency carries a language whose messages can be interpreted. Often these messages are difficult to pick up because we are so used to living in this state of separation we forget we are all part of Oneness. Still, the messages--awarenesses--are out there.

I have always been sensitive to plants. I have a shamrock plant on my kitchen windowsill that lets me know when it needs something--water, more sunlight, etc. I find myself drawn to certain trees, shrubs and plants when I am out in nature. There is a stand of trees in my yard that I put some of my kitchen waste (grease and table scraps) in so they don't clog up my sink. When I first began doing it, I would dump some of it out when it was still hot. After a while though, I was made aware that the heat was hurting the trees! I felt awful! Needless to say, I make sure everything is room temperature before I dump it out now.

It is frequency I hear when I get messages from people who are profoundly disabled. It is frequency I hear when I feel led to check the pockets of my coat and find money. There are literally thousands of voices that surround us every day, all calling out through the power of their personal vibrations.

Perhaps the easiest way to become more sensitive to them is to begin talking to individual things when you connect to Oneness in meditation. Explore a single blade of grass. How does it make you feel? What do you appreciate or dislike about it? The more questions you ask, the more you will begin to understand about whatever you are consciously connecting with.

Frequency does carry a language you can learn to communicate through. It's all part of becoming more aware and connected to your heart. You may just discover your life flows much more easily as you hear the messages from the world around you.

Where The Magic Of Creation Begins!

I've been playing in my meditation time lately. I wanted to share because it is feeling very productive! The sweet spot I've been exploring is literally where all creation begins. It's a place full of magic that I don't want to leave when I'm there because of all the inspiration I have been receiving.

The technique I'm using is extremely simple. Once I am connected into my heart, I begin to ask questions specific to the personal talent I desire to develop. Lately, it has been my gift for writing. I have two ideas for books that I want to develop more fully. One idea is for a children's books series. The other is a more spiritually minded book for adults. One at a time, I ask the Universe how these stories should develop. Once I put the question out there, I just sit back and wait for an answer.

The answers that seem to evolve from this process are truly amazing! Never before have I had such details roll through my mind as I contemplate my writing. It's as thought the stories are writing themselves! It is such a wonderful and fascinating place to be I honestly don't want to leave (although I eventually have to get back to some of the more practical aspects of my life).

You could actually use this technique for more than inspiring you in using your talents. This is also a good place if you want to visualize healing a hurt relationship or improving your connection to something like money.

All creation begins in the spiritual realms before it manifests in the physical ones. By focusing your energy on the heart, you are better able to touch the spiritual and bring that forth into your physical life. Take the time to play in that space. You never know what life will spring forth from time spent in your heart!
