The World Evolving

There is a farm deep in the breadbasket of California known as Singing Frogs Farm. It is a very small (around 8 acres) organic farm run by former Peace Corps volunteers, Paul and Elizabeth Kaiser. What makes the farm something extra is the fact that they not only produce bumper crops of vegetables rich in nutrients, but they manage to earn $100,000 per acre of ground using very little water and a no till approach. They even pulled off this miracle in the middle of the California drought!

How does this happen? It happens because they think outside the box. They innovate and experiment and look for strategies that fit their particular environment. They look for ways to compliment and enrich Mother Earth. It isn't a competitive approach. It is one of dependence and interdependence, human and earth living in harmony.

If the world is to survive, this is exactly the approach we need to take. It is not about competition. While we've been trained to believe that survival of the fittest crap, that is not our true nature. We act competitively, yet deeper down we have the very real capacity to work together to accomplish great things--things that our minds tell us are impossible but our hearts know to be very possible.

It takes thinking outside the box. It takes listening to and acting on the guidance and wisdom of the heart. It is a very different way of thinking and acting than we have been taught, and it is not an easy transition for most of us.

The fact that the Kaisers were former Peace Corps volunteers says something to me. It says they came into the world wanting to help. It tells me they know how to think with their hearts. They have followed their hearts into this arena of organic farming to a place where the fruit of their labors are not only healthy, but profitable! They are pioneers in the forefront of an evolving world.

We all need this pioneering spirit again! The world has problems, but they can be overcome. They cannot be overcome through competition and the usual corporate mentality that has been touted to save us. This approach is killing us and the planet.

It is time to begin using our hearts to lead us to a healthier and more productive place. The world is evolving. Time to get to work and move it along into a stronger and more positive way of life!

Mama

I have a wonderfully loving and spiritual earthly mother that I have learned a lot from. Still, this post is not about her. It's about a mother who is both physical and spiritual and is mother to us all--Gaia, better known as Mother Earth.

Mama is making a comeback in a big way lately. Terrible men have made technologies that have hurt and destroyed Mama. They've polluted her land, atmosphere and water. They've harvested her life's blood and precious organs in the pursuit of riches--even to the point of injecting her with toxic wastes in order to gain more. Still, with all that she continues to work to heal herself at the same time she heals us from these toxic effects. Mama's heart still beats. As it does so, healing energies are projected from within to the beings who receive life from her.

Mama is the ultimate life support system. She provides all the essential ingredients needed to sustain life on her. She provides all these things to every living being on her, all without charge. None of us would continue to exist without her  support, yet many of us believe we are more entitled to Mama's resources than others of us. We even harvest her resources in an attempt to seize power and control. Mama gives to all equally. It is humans that don't always play fair.

Mama is the ultimate healer. On a physical level, she emits electrons. Scientific studies have proven these electrons have an antioxidant effect on the body when we are directly connected to Mama through touching her, human flesh directly to earth or natural water source. Animals and plants naturally get this from her. It is only man who becomes physically disconnected through his own "advances" in technology.

The healing is spiritual as well. Those who take the time to connect to her through communing with nature can feel it. I know for me personally, my mind is soothed and I feel I have the strength to go on after spending even a few minutes walking in the woods or on the beach. Even being outside among the trees and grass restores me to the point of feeling much more grounded and connected to my heart.

Mama is the ultimate example of the Divine Feminine. She is provider, nurturer, healer. She connects to everything that lives on her in unseen ways. It is her love for all her children that sustains us. Man has spent thousands of years trying to control and tame her, yet for all those attempts she still manages to resist and provides life and healing to her children.

Mama loves us all--even the "naughty" ones. Isn't it time we gave Mama back all the love and consideration she has shown us?

We Belong To The Earth

Ownership. It's what we work for. It's what we fight for. It creates the need to dominate and establish boundaries. It is the driving force behind all wars. It is all based on a lie. The lie is that we are the dominant species who must claim their power and rule over everything.

Mother Earth laughs at the hubris of men. With one energetic volcanic heave, she can create more power and destructive energy than an atomic bomb. She can flatten whole cities with tornadic and hurricane force winds. She can deluge civilizations, often burying them in the depths of the sea. She can bring great ice to cover vast portions of herself and limit the population of the planet.

The sun, too, is a force to be reckoned with. Radiation can heat the planet and cause destruction on land and sea and animals and plants. Solar flares have the potential to knock out technology as we know it (and with it our way of life).

But we humans are supreme! We have the ability to take over and control everything (including each other)...or not!!!

The fact of the matter is, we have gotten it all wrong. We can no more own the land any more than we can own the sun. We may be able to control and manipulate certain things, but nature and the forces of the Universe will always have the last laugh.

It is we who belong to the Earth! It is we who have been charged with taking responsibility for how we live on her!!! Even with all the abuse we allow her to suffer, she will still survive after we have all managed to kill ourselves off.

It is time to be the good stewards of the Earth we were meant to be. The Earth can be our home and will provide for us if we treat her right. Our mission is not ownership or power. It is about life and enabling Mother and everything on her to live on in prosperity.

Isn't it time we remembered that?

Visions Of The Future

As a conspiracy theorist, I have a tendency to talk a good deal about the corruption in the world. I share a lot of different information I find newsworthy in the hope that something will trigger someone else into awareness. Although I promote these issues, they are not all I see. Always in the back of my mind, I see the world as it could be--the world I am striving to build.

Building the future is a creative process. My own process involves seeing the world in pristine perfection. While that may not seem realistic, I know it exists. I feel it with every ounce of my being. The thing is, all worlds exist on some timeline and in some dimension. The world in which we ultimately end up very much depends on the vision of the future we hold.

The world I see contains well-fed people. Mother Earth is taken care of so well she springs forth with abundance for all. Food production in various parts of the world is adapted to the conditions there. Greenhouses and aquaponic farming techniques insure food in those places that have seen lack in the past. Petrochemical farming no longer exists, and food is organic and fresh.

There is no longer disease. We are allowed to use the precious resources (mostly food) Mother provides to nourish and heal ourselves. Natural cures will be the norm as we recognize the healing powers of all those things that have been provided. Cancers and heart disease are things of the past, as are conditions such as ADHD, autism and bipolar depression.

Everyone has a place to call home that is beautiful and inviting. Sizes may vary as people want and need different things. The important thing is that everyone is taken care of in a way they are comfortable with.

Everyone is allowed to contribute their gifts and talents in the ways they desire, always knowing their needs are taken care of. Those with creative gifts, those with building and engineering gifts, those with gifts to take care of others, etc. will be allowed to follow their hearts and make those desired contributions. Money is no longer the goal of contribution. All thoughts go toward making the world a better place through using your gifts. All contributions are acknowledged, and the worth of each soul is recognized.

Travel is something everyone can do--even travel among the stars! We are no longer separated from beings from distant galaxies (yes, I believe they are there)! We are once again connected to all those beings that care about us and our journeys.

All these things and more are what I see--what I am working for. I am under no illusion this will happen quickly. It is a slow process because we have all been programmed to see something different. Thinking outside the box is not something we do well, and it takes awareness for us to know things need to change and that we actually have to take a hand in it to see that change occurs. Apathy is still rampant and slows the growth process way down.

Yes, this seems like a fantasy world. Yes, it will be a slow process and difficult to accomplish. Still, it is this vision of the future that leads me onward. I believe things can be better--profoundly so!!! I feel it so strongly I know this place exists. As I focus on this vision of the future, my heart will guide me to those paths that lead me there.

Nature Spirits

When I am out walking in the woods, the local nature spirits talk to me. I do not see them with my physical eyes, although sometimes I am given visions of what they look like in my head. These are different and separate from the plants themselves. They are more like caretakers of all things natural. Sometimes the plants and trees they take care of are young and robust. At other times they watch over the processes of plant death and all that entails--decay, reclamation and renewal of the soil. Some nature spirits are associated with the soil or minerals of the earth, water and even air. Yes, this seems to be the stuff of fairytales and dreams, but I do believe there is much more to these energies than most of us are willing to recognize in this modern world.

I allowed myself to tune in to them several years back on suggestion from an intuitive friend. It's difficult to begin feeling the energies of things you have been told are the stuff of fairytales and dreams. It can be a scary thing to admit you believe in these types of energies because people in this modern world are likely to call you crazy. Still, I've experienced enough I believe there is something to them.

One of the first nature energies I sensed was a more female energy that presides over a tree that stands in my yard. It is an older pine tree that has seen better days and is more on the dying end of its life. She told me her name was Astra, and her energy was much more calm and serene than some of the others I felt. I usually communicate with her when I'm in my yard, although I have known her to venture out and show up at different places. There was one time when I decided to go walking in one of my favorite local parks and she showed up. From where I parked my car you can walk in two different directions. This particular day I wasn't sure which way I should go and asked the Universe for help deciding. All of a sudden, I felt Astra there, pointing to one particular direction. When I chose to follow that path, I felt her excitement at my choice--sort of like there was something she really wanted me to see. I didn't want to take that path as I couldn't go more than a mile because they had closed that part of the trail down for repairs. When I finally got to where they closed down the trail, I understood why Astra had wanted me to go that way. They had re-opened the trail!!! I would not have known if Astra had not encouraged me to make that choice.

Understand that true nature spirits have jobs to do. They contribute to the health and growth of the natural world. They will talk to you if you allow it, but they are more concerned with helping to take care of Mother Earth and have no interest in using or harming you. If your intuition helps you sense them, acknowledge their presence. They may just have some interesting information to show you!!!
