Meditation To Overcome Oppression

There has been a great feeling of heaviness during the past month. While I attribute some of it to the usual tug-and-pull of the Christmas holidays (and the often all-consuming urge to spend and acquire), I believe there is much more to it than that. The world has begun waking up in degrees not known for thousands of years. To counteract this awakening, dark ritual magic is being used to send darkness to anything that is light. If you are a lightworker or lightwarrior, you have felt the heaviness. It is time to intentionally break down the chains of this oppression and free yourself and others.

Sit comfortably in a quiet place where you will not be interrupted. Close your eyes and allow the muscles of your body to relax. Focus several minutes on your breathing by breathing in through your nose, out through your mouth. As you expel breath, make sure you concentrate on expelling any tension, stress, sadness or anger your body has been holding on to. As you breathe in, allow your body to bring in light, love, peace, and joy. Do this breathing until you feel the negativity has been removed and your being feels full of light.

Once this is accomplished, it is time to focus on protection. Envision an impervious white light surrounding you, allowing in strength and positivity while protecting you from anything that wishes to harm. Now is the time to ask for additional strength and protection from your guardian angels. Ask them to help you discern which energies you should allow in and which are better left alone. You may also ask more specific help from Archangel Michael, the angel in charge of protection, who can send additional warrior angels to guard and protect you when it is warranted. Asking for help is important as there are many circumstances where angels are not allowed to interfere unless specifically asked. Feel the shift of energy as your light/spirit body is allowed to shine without interference. Feel the light energy that is now allowed to pass to you, strengthening you.

As you sit in this protected space, allow your spirit body to expand. Understand this expansion you now feel is the unshackling of your spirit. Allow your heart to connect to Oneness, where everything exists and nothing is judged. This is the place you can now ask questions and receive answers--particularly about what you should do next in your activities to bring healing and wholeness to the planet. You are protected and safe, and the answers you need are now free to flow to you.

Any time you feel heaviness, you should take the time to unburden yourself by connecting to your heart in a protected state. You will gain the strength you need to throw off the oppression and be free to do the work you were called to do.

Using Body Cues To Learn Discernment

Did you know your body speaks to you? It does!!! It doesn't speak to you in an all-knowing voice. How then does it "speak"? Your body speaks to you through emotions!!! Emotions are your body’s way of trying to make you aware of new information. The stronger the emotion, the more your body is signaling there is something you need to pay attention to.

First of all, you need to understand our bodies are different. How my body indicates fear or excitement may be different from the way your body signals those things for you. For example, my body senses fear in my stomach area. Yours might indicate fear in your big toe. How do you know what to look for? Look back at those experiences in your life when fear was present. Where in your body did you feel those emotions? The answer to that question will give you some idea of what you personally need to pay attention to.

I'll give you a very personal example of what I am talking about. Years ago when I was in my late teens and early twenties, I was involved in a cult. The leader of this particular group, Jeffrey Lundgren, talked endlessly about all the violence that occurred in the Bible and the Book of Mormon and was training the men involved in the cult how to use firearms, among other things. After my husband and I made plans to leave, Jeff and I had a conversation I will never forget. Jeff told me about his plans to take over the Kirtland Temple by force, having to kill the people who lived around the temple in order to take control. (Yes, it seems deranged, but at the time I was too far brainwashed to see it.)

The thing is, even during that conversation (where my mind had totally lost all sense) my body--my discernment--was still talking to me. When Jeff talked about killing people, my stomach felt all clenched up and tight, and I thought to myself, "Thank God I am not going to be around to see that!!!" My body was talking, my heart was listening, but at that point my mind was far from rational. This is what taught me (eventually, after Jeff really did kill people) that it is far better to listen to your heart than your mind.

Take the time to understand your body's cues. Reflect individually on various emotions. What happened to your body when you felt sadness? What happened to your body when you felt anger? What happened to your body when you felt scared? The answers to these questions and more will give you the information you need to understand what your body is telling you in those critical moments of life.

Your body is an instrument of awareness in a very complicated world. Allow yourself to access the wisdom and heart connection it contains to help you navigate the obstacles of life. It may just be key in helping you learn discernment.

Standing In Your Truth

My spiritual journey has been interesting of late. I have always been strong. Standing alone has never intimidated me. Lately though, I have experienced a slightly different sort of attack energy that I am not altogether used to. It's one designed to break the victim down in obvious ways while making that same victim question their ability to discern truth. (This is why I have written so many posts lately about protecting self.) It is not a place I saw myself going, but it is a good way to grow and learn.

I have a friend who has been living with these sort of attacks for the past several years. During that time, I have seen her confronting these things head on. It has not been an easy journey for her. I have seen many people stop supporting her because they question her judgment. Many times there are truths she knows that she cannot reveal for one reason or another, but she is incredibly strong. She does not back down. She is not afraid to stand in her truth, even when it means standing alone.

The powers that be do not like people like my friend. Such bright and powerful souls are here to shed light on all those dark practices that hold us captive. They know themselves so well they are not afraid to stand in their truth in order to hold the light for others. The darkness loves to attack their support networks in order to weaken them enough to put out that light.

It is time for all of us to raise our frequencies by connecting to our hearts and the truths that reside within. Now more than ever, it is imperative that we reach deep inside and learn to discern the truth from the fiction. The powers that be have been attacking the light for years. They have perfected ways to keep us from knowing the truth so they can keep us from using our own power. You have the power. We all do. We just need to learn how to read things so well that nothing will fool us. When we can do that, we are truly living from the heart.

Sometimes, standing in your truth can be a lonely journey, but have courage! The light you shine today may be just what it takes to push humanity into a new life of freedom, abundance and wholeness.
