When I was a Pre-Kindergarten teacher, one of my favorite questions to ask my 4 year old students was, "What are the names of your parents?" A few of them occasionally knew that mom's name was Courtney or dad's name was Tom, but most of them would tell me, "Mom" or "Dad"!!!
