Heavenly Intervention

In the course of our life plans, there are times we get stuck on where to go or what to do. Being in a certain place during a certain time our lives is extremely important to helping us fulfill our overall life missions. It is on these occasions divine intervention can come in handy. Even helping us find jobs can be the work of our angels!

In one of the daycare centers I worked at, I had a coworker with an interesting story. I had worked with her quite a while before she told me how she came to be employed there. She had just moved to town with her boyfriend and was scouring the newspaper for job listings. She saw an ad for a job as a daycare teacher and called. She got the details of what the job involved, then after she got off the phone she realized she had not gotten directions to the center. She called back. The next day when she went to go fill out the application, she was asked how she came to apply there. She responded that she had seen our ad in the newspaper. The office manager gave her a very strange look and said, "We didn't have an ad in the paper." What got me was the fact that she had called the number she found in the paper not once but TWICE and apparently got the same (heavenly?) operator!

Another friend of mine had a social work degree in rural Iowa. Jobs can be extremely hard to come by in Iowa, even when the country is not in recession/depression. One day when she was looking for work, she got a call from her husband. He said he had just heard a nearby hospital had a social work opening and she needed to call this particular man at this particular place. He even helpfully gave her the phone number to call. She called and asked about the job and mentioned her qualifications. The man she talked to then said, "We do have a job opening, but how did you know? I've only just told my secretary about it and nobody else knew!" She then mentioned her husband had told her and even gave her the information. The man was surprised but scheduled the interview right then and there. Later that evening, she asked her husband how he had found out about the job opening. He gave her a funny look and asked what she was talking about. She reminded him he had called and given her the information. He then told her he had not called and had no idea who did! Consequently, she did end up with the job, and she never forgot the divine intervention that helped her land it!

There are times in our lives where it is important to our soul purpose to be at in a place we can be of service. Angels and other heavenly helpers may step in to make sure these things are accomplished. Know that the Universe does indeed have your back as you follow the guidance and wisdom of your heart.

Help Unseen And The Big Picture

Yesterday as I was getting ready for work, I heard the sounds of a big truck outside. This is unusual as where I live is all residential. The only time I hear big truck sounds is when the garbage truck comes through or someone is getting some sort of delivery. After a while, the sound didn't go away so I investigated a little further. The truck was with a tree cutting company and they were there to take down some trees that had died and were in danger of falling on nearby houses. The thing is, the main truck had a huge crane attached. It also had two stabilization arms that came down to insure the crane didn't tip the truck over. And that's where the problem started. The streets where I live are extremely narrow. The truck was obstructing my entire cul-de-sac and I could not use my car to get to work!!!

Fortunately things worked out much better than foreseen. My daughter had an appointment to get to in a town that is quite distant from where we live. I had asked my parents if they could take her to the appointment because I was due to be at work at about the same time. As it happened, they were waiting for her at the end of our street as they could not get their car through from the opposite direction. I hopped in their car with my daughter and they dropped me off at work on their way to the appointment.

I'm not really sure why I asked my parents to take my daughter to her appointment. My husband was scheduled to be home. He could have done it under normal circumstances. I was just sort of following what felt right at the time, and it paid off in a big way.

In life, you never know what unexpected things will happen as you set off on your journey. More often than not, you end up facing obstacles that were not part of the plan. The thing is, these obstacles seem to become a lot less difficult if you are following the guidance of your heart.

We are in a time of great change in human history. The world is full of pain and chaos. Many of us are trying to assist by helping to rebalance the power structure and begin healing the planet. The interesting thing is, at those times when obstacles interfere with what we are trying to accomplish, someone comes along behind the scenes to help us in our time of need.

Lately the help seems to be coming at a much more rapid pace!!! That's because more and more of us are following the wisdom and guidance that comes from our connection to Oneness--that heart connection!!!

There are times it is difficult to see our own progress because of the obstacles. The powers that be have all sorts of tricks they use to cover up their crimes. The thing is, these tricks are becoming less effective as more of us wake up to them. As each person plays their role, obstacles are taken down in seemingly miraculous ways. That is the nature of how life works out when we are connected!!!

Trust there is always going to be help unseen as we tap in to Source energy and follow the guidance and wisdom in our hearts. Even though we cannot see the whole picture, the pieces are all falling into place. The great masterpiece is only completed when we add our own piece to the picture!

Reducing Drama

Ever notice how certain people you run across leave nothing but drama? Everything in life is always wrong, other people are always out to get them, molehills are always mountains, etc., etc.!!! Hanging out with drama queens can feel like being on a never-ending hamster wheel. You keep working harder and harder to help them and get absolutely nowhere. There are steps you can take to minimize the energy they steal from you (and, yes, they are energy vampires)!!!

  1. Cut ties with all those who are not integral parts of your life! If it is not a close friend or family member or someone you have to work with at your job, don't give them time. Yes, sometimes you want to help them but it can be a losing battle if they like the drama (and don't really want the help). Ask your heart if you have the ability to help them or if they are just trying to suck you in to feed off your energy. Your heart will tell you. Even when I cut someone loose, I send them off with love, asking the Universe for blessings to follow them.
  2. Learn when to engage and when not to engage. Some of us can be codependent on the drama--we just don't know what life would be like without the drama and so we encourage it by "trying to help". The fact of the matter is, the only person who can decide to stop the drama is the person creating it. If you allow them to solve their own problems, they are more likely to understand they are truly the ones with the power and only they have the power to change their circumstances.
  3. Even when it feels as though you are in the middle of someone else's storm, you have the ability to take care of yourself. When something feels too difficult, your body/intuition is trying to tell you to take a step back. Listen to it!!! Meditate, drink a glass of water, take a few deep breaths. Ask for the protection of your guardian angels or envision a protective light around yourself to keep you safe and your energy intact.
  4. Also know you can call on divine, energetic help for the person and the situation they are involved in. Ask for their guardian angels to step in or envision a healing, protective light around the person and the situation. Understand that even if it is not your problem to solve, it is in your power to call on divine help and guidance. Place that burden on Oneness, where it belongs.
It is possible to reduce the drama that comes into your life. You will feel much more grounded and able to meet your own challenges when you can consistently maintain your own higher vibration in the midst of the storm. The storm always passes. Use the storms to gain strength and become an even better you!!!
