You Have The Power To Slay Your Own Dragons!

From the time we are small children, we are fed the idea that we are not enough but there will always be something bigger and better than ourselves who will ride in and save the day. It happens in fairy tales. It happens in movies. It even happens in religions.

As long as we fail to acknowledge our own greatness, we are doomed to wait for a savior who never comes. We don't overcome obstacles. We don't solve problems. We sit in the shadows and wait for somebody else--anybody else--to do the work.

Understand you are a gifted and talented being of light and love. Understand you have the power within to change your world for the better! Understand the savior you wait for is you!

Pick up your sword, slay your dragon and gain your freedom!

On The Way To The Election

An interesting thing has happened on the way to the US Presidential election. It was not something I anticipated although I did receive some indication that change was afoot. The signs of discontent are obvious in the world around me.

For those of you who know me, I have been a "conspiracy theorist" for a while now. I have spent the last few years raging against the machine that has enslaved us. I've done a pretty good job keeping up with the latest information and doing my part to educate the public on what is going on behind-the-scenes. Still, something is missing.

I have been a conspiracy theorist for around five years. I know people who have been on to this information for twenty or thirty years. When you read alternative news stories, you come to feel that big things are being done behind-the-scenes to overcome the oppression and that a major breakthrough will occur any day. There is an expression conspiracy theorists (who have at least a little time under their belt) like to use to describe such "breakthroughs". Hurry up and wait! As I mentioned, there are people out there who have been waiting thirty years for change to occur. We are still waiting.

Why is that? We are still waiting because we have been conditioned to wait for a hero! We listen to fairy tales where the white knight rides up on his gallant steed to save the beautiful princess from the terrible dragon. We study religions that tell us that, when the world has fallen into ultimate evil, a savior will appear to gather up the righteous. Here in the US, we believe a new President will solve all our problems (even though it hasn't happened yet).

What we fail to recognize is that we need to be our own heroes! When we look to someone or something other than ourselves to save us, we have given up our own power and placed it in the hands of another. Nothing happens because the power is now in the hands of someone who just desires control, and he likes things the way they are!

I have known for a while that I personally needed to step up and do something to change my world. Ironically, when this latest presidential contest came up, I once again began looking at candidates to see what they have to offer. I like Bernie Sanders because his platform is the most human and actually takes the little guy into consideration. Also, he walks his talk. Even though Trump is an insider in many ways, I don't believe he is a terrible choice because I can see the current powers that be don't want him in office. That is obvious to me from the facts that Republican leadership has not backed him (aka the Bush cabal) and that the mainstream media is going overboard in terms of twisting everything he says to make him look like a terrible monster. Hillary...I'm not even going to go there.

For a while, I found myself drawn up into all the rhetoric. That's when it hit me. Not only were we decimating the platforms and characters of the candidates themselves, but we were also ascribing extremely negative attributes to anyone who was "stupid" enough to vote for those candidates. For example, anyone who chose Bernie was automatically labeled a socialist, which brings to mind a society of lazy misfits who give up all constitutional rights because of their apathy. Trump supporters are bigoted monsters who will end up killing minorities just like the WWII era Germans did under Hitler. (Does anyone else see how extreme these views are? We are ascribing these traits to people we know and love!)

We have allowed ourselves to be drawn into the same old "us" vs. "them" arguments that are the backbone of the Divide and Conquer strategy of control the supposed elite have used to dominate us for centuries! As long as we see our family, our friends and our neighbors as the enemy, we will be so occupied fighting that our leaders can do any darn thing they want behind the scenes and make it stick!

On the way to the election, I discovered that I have changed. I can finally see the many ways I personally have been drawn into the struggles. I understand how I am part of the fight that leads to giving up my own personal power and control. I now hurt when I see all the negative attributes being placed on my fellow humans in order to keep us all embroiled in the fight.

I am done playing their game. It is time to stand in my own power and listen to the guidance of my heart. Our world will not be saved as long as we seek something outside ourselves. WE are the ones we've been waiting for! Join me!!!

Taking Responsibility For The Inferno

I will be the first person to tell you it is important to dwell on the positive. I am blessed with a relatively sunny disposition, and it has worked out for me more often than not. If there is one thing I have learned though, sometimes optimism is not enough. When one is confronted by a raging inferno, no amount of optimism is going to put the fire out. That requires resources--water or something else big enough to smother the flames. It is time for us to take responsibility for the inferno raging around us and set it right before it consumes everything--including us.

My trip down the rabbit hole has taught me there is great evil in the world--truly mind-blowing evil. This evil controls the vast resources that make up our planet and uses them to suppress the majority of the population. Because they control the media, most people do not even understand what has happened. While the pain from the oppression continues to wake people up to this reality, we tend to watch this raging inferno from the sidelines, convinced the fire department is on its way. Our programming, through religion and even fairytales, convinces us a savior is coming.

We have waited thousands of years for a savior. We will wait for thousands more if we continue to ignore the fire that is right in front of our faces. It is time to acknowledge this simple truth. We are our own saviors. The fire department does not exist outside of ourselves. The fire department resides in our hearts!

It is time to acknowledge the inferno raging before us. It is time to encircle it with our waterbuckets of truth and continue to pour water on the flames until they are extinguished. It is time to round up the fire starters and take the fuel out of their hands. It is time to charge them with arson, try them, and force them to make amends. The fire cannot be put out until we have taken responsibility for its cause and stopped it.

The inferno will continue to rage until we become its keepers. Let's stop this inferno together!

The One Thing That Will Save Us

The savior mentality. It's pervasive in the world today. People are convinced one change will be the catalyst that will start us back on an uphill path. The thought is that, if we change to this different system or ask one certain person to lead us, the problems will begin to work themselves out. Therein lies the problem. No one institution or person can fix anything. Our problems are collective and require a collective solution.

I look at the Christian community from which I came. People there are waiting for Jesus to come back and save the day. He is supposed to gather up his elect and judge and punish those who persist in their evil. The problem as I see it is twofold. First of all, as humans we are all equal parts good and bad. How will that differentiate one group from another? (And don't use the programmed answered that only God or Jesus can judge!) This thinking is separation in motion. The second part is the fact they are counting on something outside themselves to save them rather than taking personal responsibility for the world's problems.

People also believe politics and politicians can save us. To me, this is the most ludicrous idea we've ever come up with! When have politicians or their political systems ever been solutions to the world's problems? Believing that capitalism will save us or socialism will save us is problematic because the perspectives are limited and don't take all angles or facets into account. If a politician does happen to have integrity, what he/she can do is limited because no one else does. Politics is a cooperative effort if anything is to be accomplished. Finally, we are once again looking for solutions to come from somewhere outside ourselves.

I honestly do believe there is one thing that will save us. What is that one thing, you ask? The one thing that has the potential to save us all is to learn to connect to all that IS--Oneness--by connecting to our hearts.  Oneness IS the collective consciousness. Consulting Oneness is about dropping our own personal egos and allowing ourselves to function in the collective. This Oneness will then allow us to understand what we can personally do to benefit the collective. It is when we act from this place that the magic will happen.

Direction from Oneness does not necessarily "make sense" to our programmed minds. Often what seems ludicrous to our rational (programmed) minds will eventually take us to the place where our actions benefit the collective. It is a very different way of thinking and acting, and one that most of us have been afraid to try (even though we do occasionally get inspiration from Oneness and act on it).

When we are finally willing to drop our egos and connect to Oneness, we work together in harmony. Our hearts and minds sync up as we allow ourselves to become One.

Waiting For a Savior

Something hit me in my quiet time this morning. I first noticed it in the pages of my journal. Apparently, I have been so caught up in the events happening in the world around me I have lost track of my days. I haven't been writing much of consequence about my daily life--nothing at all for yesterday. Then it hit me. I have been so focused on events going on in the world around me I have not paid attention to what is happening with me! Somehow in this mess of a world, I am getting lost. And that's when it hit me. I am looking for someone or something outside myself to save me!!!

What's wrong with that, you ask? Quite simply, the savior never comes. We have been taught since time immemorial to wait for a savior. Most religions are based on the concept. In my own background of Christianity, we focus on New Testament prophesy about the return of the King. We have this idea that Jesus will ride in on his shiny and noble steed and save the world from impending doom and destruction caused by too much sin and general wickedness. Ironically, we look down at Jews, who didn't recognize Christ the savior in their midst when he appeared among them 2000 years ago. The irony here is, they too were looking for a prophesied savior who was supposed to come in and liberate them from their oppressors. When a great teacher showed up instead, is it any wonder they didn't recognize him?

We have all been taught to wait for a white knight (god, politician, etc.) to come and rescue us, and there is a reason for it. If you look for the answers to show up outside yourself, you will not take the necessary initiative to save yourself. It's a very simple and elegant strategy, put out there so that those in power can retain their power (not to mention yours). By denying your own power, you give up your own ability to be effective in the world. Others can then come in and claim it.

Fact of the matter is, we all have the power within ourselves to do great things. Even Jesus, one of the wisest teachers I know, taught that.
Verily, verily I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do he shall do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. John 14:12 KJV
Jesus was trying to teach us that we all have the ability to change outcomes--that what saves us is claiming our own power through our own connection to God/Source/Oneness!

I'm going to let you in on a little secret: Jesus (and Buddha and Mohammed, etc.) are already here! They are in your heart! All you need to do is "tune in" and access them from there. If you are looking for that white knight to ride in and save the day, you need look no further than yourself.

It is time to stop waiting and play your part. The reason the savior is not here is because you haven't decided to claim your power! Be still. Listen to the voice of the One within. Follow that guidance. The world will only begin to change when you wake up and take charge of your own power. You are the savior you've been waiting for. Go save yourself!

Preparing For Collapse

Regardless of the fact that the powers that be have managed to prolong their stay in power, change is coming. There is not much you can learn in the mainstream media yet, but the collapse is on course if you follow the signs. Greece is key here because once they are officially declared bankrupt and pull out of the Euro, the other EU nations (and the banks they prop up) will all have to declare bankruptcy as well because their economies are based largely on derivatives, which are not actual assets but the promise of future assets. Once this happens, the dollar will also collapse as this has been used to prop up the same system.

That said, the powers that be have done a really good job over the years convincing people we need their system. Through use (and monopoly control) of the mainstream media, they have given us working memes that prop up their system. Remember the collapse of 2008? The biggest meme here in the US (used to justify the bank bailouts) was that the banks were "too big to fail".

Let's take a look at "too big to fail". It was thought that if we let the big banks fail, our nation's economy would totally sink. All the big businesses that the banks prop up would also fail, leaving people jobless and destitute. The irony of all this has been, the banks received more money to gamble with (after gambling and losing all their previous gambling money). Corporations continued to hemorrhage jobs while paying their bigwigs million dollar salaries. The rich continued to get richer, the poor continued to get poorer, and the middle class became smaller. The fact of the matter is, job creation is still based largely on small businesses that had absolutely nothing to do with the financial mess in the first place. All their economy is designed to do is take more and more from the little guy. Don't believe me? Google Libor scandal and Forex scandal to learn how the banks are literally manipulating interest rates and the markets in order to pocket more loot than they deserve. (And none of the bank CEO's involved in these scandals went to prison where they belonged!!!) We have been sold a bill of goods where nobody pays except We the People!!!

That said, living through such change will not be easy. For a while, it might be difficult to access the luxury items (that may not seem so luxury here in the US) we use every day. Things we import from other countries, like coffee and cheap clothing and electronics, will inevitably become more costly. On the positive side, jobs will inevitably be created as we become much more dependent on ourselves to produce the goods we need right here in our own country.

There are many people out there who believe there are funds that have been set up out there for years that will head off the coming crisis. While I would like to believe this (and I do believe funds are out there), accessing them will not be as easy as we think. We have been taught in our society to watch for saviors that never actually come because the real saviors are we ourselves. The process of change will not happen overnight because there are way too many people who believe the myths the powers that be have encouraged to keep themselves in power.

Now, more than ever, survival for everyone will be dependent on living from the heart. We need to use what assets we do have to help those less fortunate. We need to make sure everyone has enough food to eat and their basic living requirements met.

Even more importantly, we need to tune in to our hearts for the wisdom and knowledge that comes from connection. When we ask our hearts what our next move should be, don't question its seemingly random advice!!! Following inner guidance does not always make sense in the beginning, but as events begin to play out you will see how this action falls into place!

The end of society as we know it does not have to be a scary thing. The powers that be want us to be scared because our fear will cause us to keep them in power. Understand that the breakdown of something we have always known allows us the opportunity to create something much better in its place!!!

Use this time of transition to clear away the debris from old, worn out system and build a new society on a bedrock foundation so our children and grandchildren can live healthier, stronger and more prosperous lives!!! Our future is entirely dependent on our actions. Choose to make the world a better place for all!!!

Shut Up And DEAL With It!!!

There is no doubt about it. The earth is a big mess. Poverty. Pollution. Disease. Violence and wars. Corrupt politicians and leaders. It's enough to drive you mad if you dwell on it for too long. The thing is, the circumstances of our lives are really our own fault! That's right, I said it! We have no one to blame but ourselves!!!

How can I believe this, you ask? We didn't personally make the decision to pollute our air and water. We didn't ask to have our money taken from us through war, taxation and inflation. We didn't pass the laws that make it easy for our politicians to be corrupted! We come into this world having to deal with all the problems it holds, regardless of whether or not we started them.

And that is just my point!!! We may not have started these problems (although honestly even that could be argued), but there is a definite need for these problems to be dealt with. The thing is, we expect everyone else to deal with them!!! We whine and complain about what happens in the world around us, but then we sit back and lament on how our politicians don't accomplish anything!!! We see hunger and poverty around us, yet we do nothing to see those needs get met!!! We worry about wars, and yet we fail to stop the thinking that created those situations in the first place!!!

Our biggest misstep is we fail to take responsibility for what happens to our planet. We don't even question why the problems happened in the first place. We release ourselves from responsibility by telling ourselves we did not create the problems and don't have the power to change things. This is a lie. We intentionally gave up our power to change things when we decided to play the game.

What is the game? The game involves doing what we've always been programmed to do instead of thinking for ourselves! It involves becoming a good citizen, working hard for a living, using the world's resources as they've been laid out for us to use them. Here in the United States, it means to find a job that pays the bills so we can own a house, drive a car, take a vacation, put food on the table. If we're really doing it well, we're obsessed with buying the latest tablet or cell phone or video game, not to mention designer clothes and purses and all those other things that shout out wealth.

Understand this sort of life has been designed to keep us distracted. Bread and circuses. Give the people those things they can use to distract themselves with so they won't try to change them. It's been a strategy of the "elite" for thousands of years. We relieve ourselves of responsibility by allowing others to do the "hard" work. We have no one to blame but ourselves for the world's problems.

It is time to step back into our own power! Take the time to connect within your heart (to where the answers are). Pray. Meditate. Laugh. Play. Plant a tree. Clean up your neighborhood park. Start an organization to feed the homeless in your community. Run for political office. Do all those things your heart guides you to, because your heart will help you find your place in the world.

It is time to stop whining and complaining!!! YOU have the power to change the world, so shut up and deal with it!!! Stop waiting for a savior!!! The savior is YOU!!!
