My Christmas Wish For You!

Twenty-sixteen has been a struggle for many of us. Illness, death, financial struggles, employment setbacks all seem to have combined to create massive upheaval and chaos in our lives. The energies have been intense and not particularly pleasant for those of us who have chosen to become more than we are at present.

You may feel that all is lost and there is not much hope, but understand these are exciting times we reside in! It is through pain and struggle that we become so much more. Life is not lived on the mountain tops, but in the valleys and slogging up and down the sides of the mountain. Yes, the view from the top is great, but is is only the pain of the journey that allows us to see it.

As I sit here in the quiet of this Christmas morning, I feel the pain and struggles of humanity. While I know this too shall pass, it doesn't make the process any less comfortable. We will continue to struggle in the year ahead, but I do believe 2017 is a year we will begin to see significant change. The more we allow ourselves to go with the process, the more quickly and easily the process becomes.

My wish for you in the coming year is that you learn to appreciate the process! Understand change only happens through great pressure. Many of us undergo the adjustment kicking and screaming because we are being removed from our comfortable ruts. Becoming better is not easy or pleasant, but it is required if we desire to live in a better world.

Merry Christmas! May 2017 be the year you break out of the dark cocoon of your imprisonment and learn to use your wings!

Triumph Of Spirit

It's funny. I know how evil the world can be. I understand how the desire to control and dominate hurts another being. I have seen cruelty forced on those who have no power to overcome it. I've seen the world slowly killed off by poisons in order to extract every last ounce of energy and strength on her. I've seen people cry out in pain at all the abuses they have to endure. Regardless, I have also seen the perserverance of all living beings to keep on going, even when there seems to be no hope and no point.

Everything ends up more beautiful because of the pain it endures. It may not always appear that way to the casual observer. The observer sees scars. He sees brokenness. He sees anger and hurt. It often takes going beneath the surface to see the beauty that is there.

Look at the environment around the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in Ukraine. Back in 1986, there was a terrible explosion and meltdown that occurred, forcing inhabitants of the area to leave, never to return as radiation levels around the world increased prolifically. Even though humans refuse to go live in the vicinity to this day, plant and animal life has begun to thrive once again. Animal populations, which had been negligible while humans were around, have increased tremendously as the earth in that area has begun to heal.

Look at the wars that continue to occur around the world, usually over the natural resources that can be found within. The destruction wars bring make people flee with nothing more than the clothes on their back, like those currently leaving Syria. We hear less about the people in war torn African countries, who often slip across many borders in their attempts to flee the onslaught created by war. These people struggle to survive, but survive they do.

I see people struggle with conditions like cancer every day. It frustrates me so because I believe cancer can be cured and has been curable for a long time. Because of the greed of a relative few, we are not even allowed to know these cures exist. In the United States, the treatments are usually much worse than the illness. Sickness and pain accompany the process. If you live through it and are officially declared in "remission", it is probably only a matter of time before cancer will rear its ugly head again because they chemicals used in chemo are still in your body wreaking havoc.

Yes. I understand how evil the world can be. I also understand how good it can be and how the two forces can come together for the good of all. This is why we're here. This is why we do what we do. This is why we survive. This is the triumph of spirit. It is who we are and what we are about.

Often, it is the act of crawling that makes us strong enough to fly.

The Struggle Is NOT Real!!!

Jews and Christians vs. Muslims. Black vs white. Gay vs. straight. Democrats vs Republicans. Understand this: the fights have all been constructed for their entertainment value. The struggle is not real!!!

Of course it's real!!! What kind of stupid do you think I am? (I can hear your mind screaming at me!) People are being killed over religious beliefs! Over race! Homosexuality is a sin because the Bible says so! Democrats are baby killers who believe in handing out benefits to people who won't work while Republicans are homophobic bigots who want to give all our power and resources to big corporations! Etc. Etc. Ad nauseam!!!

I repeat: the struggle is not real!!!

While you are standing on your side trying to justify why you are standing for truth, the people with the real power are making decisions that effect you without you even being aware of it!!! The issues we fight over are distractions so We the People can be controlled!!!

Are there times when you hear the "facts" of an issue and something doesn't make sense? Are there times when 2+2 does not equal 4 and you are left scratching your head? Newsflash: This is your intuition warning you that something is not right!!! Deep down we all understand these things at the unconscious level--at the level of our higher selves. This is why I want people to understand the importance of thinking at the level of their hearts instead of the level of their heads!

Part of the problem with thinking through the brain is that it does not have access to all information (like the heart does). Consequently, it is easy to be fooled into believing untruths when you think with your head.

Take the time to get into your heart in a state of connection to Oneness. (You can click here to learn one technique to do so if you're unsure of how.) Ask the Divine to reveal truth to you!!! Understand your brain has been led down a false path of beliefs that all serve to make you fight each other!!!

The heart helps you understand that we are all part of one glorious whole--that what effects one effects us all. When you accept the struggle, it is indeed yours. Use your heart to look beyond the differences to the beauty of each soul and stop fighting yourself. The life you save may be your own.
