Leaving The Past In the Past

As the old year draws to a close, I've had some rather interesting insights into my life thus far. The most profound one involves many of the people I know and love from my past. I have realized it is time to come to a parting of ways. Although I hold fond memories of them, we are on very different journeys and it is time for me to let go of those connections as they are holding me back.

From the time I was a small child, I have been the sort of person to say, "I found this new and exciting place! Come see it with me!" I was always a leader. I was always happiest exploring, questioning, creating, and I wanted to bring other people along for the ride! This is much more easily done when you are a child and your friends are all young. Children are much more open to new experiences. By the time you become an adult, you have found your comfort zone. You understand how your world works (or how you want it to work). Adults are no longer interested in exploring or questioning. They have it all figured out and life is good. I have tried so hard to bring my friends with me on my present journey. The thing is, they do not want to come.

My grief has been profound. I love these people! I expected they would want to go on the journey with me. I was wrong. With each new idea that has challenged and excited me, my old friends have not been impressed or enthused. Most of them just think I'm crazy.

While this part of my journey saddens me, it is not all bad. I have found new friends--people who share my vision and are walking the same path. I am not alone. I am just no longer able to walk with my friends from the past.

I am finally beginning to understand I need to leave these friends behind. While I would love for them all to come with me, I know they are not ready to go there. They may never be ready to go there, and that is okay. I still love them and wish them a good life.

It is time for me to embrace this new journey. That requires packing my bags and walking out the door. I will not look back except to appreciate how that part of my journey grew me as a person. I will leave the past in the past and forge ahead into my new life.

Our Hope For The Future

As a conspiracy theorist, I am usually suspicious of all things mainstream. Greed and corruption hide around every corner as the very rich become even richer and the middle class and poor become much poorer. Regardless of what the media reports about a growing economy, my eyes still see the homes of people I know going into foreclosure, my ears still hear the tales of full-time, well-paying jobs with benefits being cut in favor of temporary work forces and outsourcing to foreign countries. My brain no longer accepts the "facts" the status quo tries to lay out for me. They don't coincide with my personal experiences.

I have looked at the problems long enough I understand one thing: nothing will change until we are willing to stand together as a people and make change happen. It is not enough to turn a blind eye to the problems and believe that everything will just work out. We have to take personal responsibility for the conditions of our country and our world and be willing to come up with plans to make it better.

Although I see people around my age waking up to the world's problems, my generation has issues. We are so used to sitting back and allowing others to "handle" our problems we have become lazy. In such a scenario, it is incredibly easy for those who desire power to come in and take over. It wouldn't be a problem if those who desired power had integrity. Unfortunately, power positions do not often attract people with integrity. We have allowed those in power to twist our system into one that benefits only a chosen few and rewards their little lapdogs who have been trained in our cookie cutter educational system to follow orders and do the heavy work.

The really crazy thing is, the people of my generation often denigrate the kids and young adults of today. The younger generation is called "lazy" and "socialist" and is accused of wanting something for nothing. Truthfully, the whole attitude pisses me off because when I look at the kids and young adults of today, I see our hope for the future. That's right! I said it! Our young people are our hope for the future!

As I look back on my life, I see how relatively easy I had it. Growing up, my father was the only one who worked outside the home. He could pay all the expenses for our family of five--mortgage, cars, insurance, utilities, food, clothing, extra-curricular activities, vacations, etc. We were encouraged to go to college. Most of us had our college paid for by our parents. We got out of college and were pretty much assured of being offered better pay and careers than our high school only peers, even if the job wasn't within our major.

It is totally different for this new generation. Most everyone grew up in daycare as both parents needed to work to pay the same bills that were so easy for our fathers to pay on their single salaries. Profound debt became increasingly common as inflation outpaced pay increases. Kids today are still encouraged to attend college--which they typically go into lifetime debt for--although they are no longer assured there will be good jobs waiting for them when they finish. Many of them end up living in their parents basements or with several other roommates because the minimum wage jobs they find don't even come close to paying their living expenses. These young people understand that something stinks because life has not been particularly easy on them. What I find appalling is that people of my generation turn around and call these kids "lazy" because they can't do today what life allowed us to do easily when we were their age! It's a totally different ballgame, folks!!! The rules have changed. They've just changed so gradually it is difficult for us older people to see the differences.

The bright spot about how these young people have grown up is this: they have never seen the world through our own distorted rose-colored glasses. They are not blinded to the problems. Consequently, they see the need for change and are much more willing to take the initiative to change it themselves! They attend rallies. They get out on the streets and protest the inequities! They are active in the political process. Best of all, these young people have heart. They see deficiencies that need to be filled and they are willing to do the work. Granted, there are exceptions, but most of the young people I know give me hope because they are willing to stand in the gap and accept responsibility for what happens in our world.

It is time for people of my generation to see what the younger generation has always known--the world needs fixing! Get up off your butts, take some responsibility for what happens, and DO some fixing! If you need ideas to get started, just look to the young people. They truly are our hope for the future!

Hope For The Future

Christmas has always been a happy time for me. Being raised in a Christian home, it was always a cause for celebration. Christmas carols. Holiday treats. Special programs at church to prepare for. I especially loved it when my mom unwrapped and set up the porcelain nativity set that my Grandma Shippy had made for her. I would spend hours looking at it and rearranging it every Christmas season. It reminded me of the story of Jesus birth and its message of hope. To this day, I love nativity sets and have a small collection that I bring out every year.

Even though I know the mythology of Jesus birth, I also understand that Jesus was a very powerful teacher of light. In many ways, I can relate to being born into a world that doesn't quite get me. I struggle every day, knowing people are still caught up in a system of false beliefs that keep them enslaved. I know I came to help. What is frustrating to me is knowing the only way people can be freed is when they are willing to step up and save themselves.

Fortunately, there are misfits like me all over the planet. They, too, struggle to help others understand the part they play in the bigger picture. These misfits know their own part of the plan and are working to overcome the darkness that has spent millenia overwhelming the planet. Although progress is slow, it is being made. The number of people that wake up to this new reality grows every day. Although we still have a long way to go, we continue to forge ahead. I know I am here to change the world. If you are reading this, you are also here to change the world.

There is so much hope for the future. Together, we have the power create a place we all want to live in. Together, we can build the world of our dreams.

In This Moment Of Now

What are you doing in this moment of now?

Are you beating yourself up for mistakes you've made? Are you wondering how you could have approached a situation differently for better results? Do you regret something you said to a friend, loved one, or business associate? Are you sorry for the opportunities you've allowed to slip through your fingers? Maybe your time is more pleasantly engaged remembering better times in the past? Regardless of the positive or negative nature, all these thoughts indicate you are living in the past.

Are you dreaming of something more? Maybe you're thinking of moving to a new location or to a new home? Maybe you're contemplating making a job change that will be a better fit and make you happier? Perhaps your future plans involve travel or getting married and starting a family. On the other side of the coin, maybe you're concerned with losing your job or your home? Maybe you foresee a future of loneliness? Regardless of direction, these thoughts put you firmly in the future.

Spending brief periods of time in the past or the future is not a bad thing, but it can be distracting and often a waste of time and energy. At best, you are remembering positive energy or making plans for where you want to go in life. At worst, you are beating yourself up or worrying about all the negative things that could happen to you. The thing is, past or future, none of these things enable you to work in your full strength and power.

When you focus in this moment of now, you are aware. You have the ability to sense and experience your surroundings with your eyes, your ears, your tongue, your nose, your hands and your heart. In that moment you can feel the unity between mind, body and spirit. You have immediate understanding of what you can do in that moment that will make you feel good and happy and whole. You know that you are alive and that it is possible to get through anything if you just focus on what step to take next.

The truly mind-boggling thing about this moment of now is that now is the one place every moment of time exists. Pretend you are in a dimension where the limitations of time are gone. There is no past, because everything is present. There is no future, because, again, everything is present. All those moments in our lives we experience in sequential order are there simultaneously in the now.

This is what makes the now so powerful. When we live in the moment, we can more easily access all that is--past, present and future. It is in this place of now we can better access Oneness.

Again I ask. What are you doing in this moment of now?

Visions For The Future

While we still have relative peace and calm, I feel strongly that we need to continue to envision the world as we want it to be. The more real this world becomes in our minds, the more likely it will be to actually appear.

First and foremost, we need to rethink the financial system!!! Currencies around the world need to be revaluated to reflect more equality in the system. The US dollar has been manipulated to the nth degree in order to give the rich and powerful even more wealth and power. Money is nothing more than a way to "keep score", and it has been badly skewed.

A better world should develop a system designed to redistribute the gifts Mother Earth has provided so that everyone on the planet can prosper! She gives freely to all, not just to a few at the top of the food chain. We have the technology and distribution systems in place to continue life as we know it. We just need to remember it belongs to everyone on the planet and not just those who hold power!

We need to envision a world where disease is actually cured! It is my belief that cures already exist. We just don't know about them because Big Pharma has been allowed to manipulate the system in the name of profit!!! Envision a world where people are not allowed to profit from the misery and suffering of others and we may actually see cures happen!!!

We need to contemplate a world where there is no more war and violence. Realistically, if people have what they need to live on they do not feel the need to take it from someone else. Making sure everyone is provided for goes a long way toward stopping these sorts of problems.

We need to see and understand the worth of each being on the planet. We are all spiritual beings having human experiences. When we are able to understand that and honor our fellow beings, humanity can grow in exponential ways. Be willing to honor the homeless man you see on the street just as much as you honor the President or prime minister of the country! In the spiritual world, status means nothing. We are all great and powerful beings!

It is time to look beyond the memes society has programmed us with and replace them with memes that will once again empower us all. Make sure your vision of the future is a world we can all benefit from!

Our Hope And Our Future

I had an extremely interesting conversation with some young coworkers a few days ago. By young, I mean all three of them were young enough to be my daughters. I can't remember which one brought it up, but the bottom line of the conversation was that none of them believed the "news" story about the reporter and cameraman in Virginia being shot live on air was real. None of them! For the record, I myself believe the story to be doubtful, but then again I am a conspiracy theorist. I have just seen too many stories that leave more answers than questions, too many leads not followed up on.

For example, I don't believe anyone died at Sandy Hook. There have been many things that made me question the story over time--emergency drill planned for the area that day, evidence of crisis actors, even one video that made a case for the child "victims" all being alive and well (and substantially older than they were reported to be at the time of the incident).

What I realize about my young friends is that they were born into a world with problems. Things have not been as easy for them growing up as they were for me. Consequently, they are not programmed to believe the world is run by people who care (like so many people my age and older). They see the flaws and desire to change things.

I'll admit, becoming a conspiracy theorist was difficult for me. I did not want to believe the world I live in is run by control freak psychopaths. When I finally understood the level of control and manipulation I live under, my world completely fell apart. I literally had to reconstruct my whole outlook to reflect these new understandings. Confronting evil is not pretty.

Young people today don't have anything to reconstruct because they were born into an obviously flawed world. It is much easier for them to not only see the evil but also to deal with it. These kids are now coming of an age where they are old enough to change the world, and they are making great strides. I am extremely encouraged that I do not have to fight this battle alone. These young people are our hope and our future. May I be blessed enough to witness everything they accomplish!

Our Hope For The Future

Well over three years ago, I listened to an online interview that changed my life. It was an interview done by a controversial conspiracy theorist, Kerry Cassidy of Project Camelot, and the interveiwee was a guy who called himself Bill Wood, now known as Bill Brockbrader. (You can listen to the entire interview here.) There were several things about the interview that impressed me. He came out and told the world what his crimes are. This felt very sincere to me. He gave some details about what he had done in the military which also rang very true (some of which have only come to light years after he revealed this foreknowledge--such as double strike bombings, which are designed to kill the rescue workers of the initial bombing victims). The thing that felt most right to me, however, was what he said about Project Looking Glass.

Project Looking Glass is a black operations technology that predicts the future. While he never saw the technology in operation, he did see some of the data that resulted. Because of his intuitive/psychic abilities, he was presented with the data and asked if there was any factor he could see that would change the expected outcomes. What the data showed was that all decisions/choices made by humanity were coming together at one point in time. From that point in time, there were two overriding potential timelines. There was a more positive timeline, where the world would become a better place for humanity to live. There was also a much more negative timeline, where things would become even chaotic on planet Earth as those in power consolidated that power. The data indicated the positive timeline was the more likely scenario. Bill was asked if there was any factor or factors he could find that would change that potential outcome. He could find nothing.

Interestingly enough, the turning point in time was a highly touted date that came with a great deal of fanfare (and something of a deflated ending)--December 21, 2012.

The whole interview filled me with a lot of hope for humanity. I have to confess, I have been a little disappointed with the time that has passed since that date. I had these grandiose ideas about how the world was going to change--and it was much quicker than what has actually taken place.

That said, I still have a lot of hope for Earth and for humanity. I can now see the changes, slight though they sometimes seem. There has not been a predicted worldwide pandemic that has killed millions (although I believe the powers that be keep trying). The powers that be, with all their control of the media, have not been able to cause enough dissension and unrest they are able to take total control by declaring martial law. Ironically, they are becoming so aggressive in their tactics they have woken many more people up to what is taking place!!!

While we still have progress to make before such evil is no longer running the planet, I do believe I will see the evil ones taken out of power and even jailed in my lifetime.  The fact that the press is now reporting stories such as pedophilia in high places and banking criminality is a true sign of progress along these lines.

Our hope for the future really does depend largely on us as a whole. As we continue on our journey, let us focus on what can be: leaders who are truly public servants, technology breakthroughs that will allow humanity and the Earth to thrive, and a complete healing of ourselves and the planet.
