Waiting For a Savior

Something hit me in my quiet time this morning. I first noticed it in the pages of my journal. Apparently, I have been so caught up in the events happening in the world around me I have lost track of my days. I haven't been writing much of consequence about my daily life--nothing at all for yesterday. Then it hit me. I have been so focused on events going on in the world around me I have not paid attention to what is happening with me! Somehow in this mess of a world, I am getting lost. And that's when it hit me. I am looking for someone or something outside myself to save me!!!

What's wrong with that, you ask? Quite simply, the savior never comes. We have been taught since time immemorial to wait for a savior. Most religions are based on the concept. In my own background of Christianity, we focus on New Testament prophesy about the return of the King. We have this idea that Jesus will ride in on his shiny and noble steed and save the world from impending doom and destruction caused by too much sin and general wickedness. Ironically, we look down at Jews, who didn't recognize Christ the savior in their midst when he appeared among them 2000 years ago. The irony here is, they too were looking for a prophesied savior who was supposed to come in and liberate them from their oppressors. When a great teacher showed up instead, is it any wonder they didn't recognize him?

We have all been taught to wait for a white knight (god, politician, etc.) to come and rescue us, and there is a reason for it. If you look for the answers to show up outside yourself, you will not take the necessary initiative to save yourself. It's a very simple and elegant strategy, put out there so that those in power can retain their power (not to mention yours). By denying your own power, you give up your own ability to be effective in the world. Others can then come in and claim it.

Fact of the matter is, we all have the power within ourselves to do great things. Even Jesus, one of the wisest teachers I know, taught that.
Verily, verily I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do he shall do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. John 14:12 KJV
Jesus was trying to teach us that we all have the ability to change outcomes--that what saves us is claiming our own power through our own connection to God/Source/Oneness!

I'm going to let you in on a little secret: Jesus (and Buddha and Mohammed, etc.) are already here! They are in your heart! All you need to do is "tune in" and access them from there. If you are looking for that white knight to ride in and save the day, you need look no further than yourself.

It is time to stop waiting and play your part. The reason the savior is not here is because you haven't decided to claim your power! Be still. Listen to the voice of the One within. Follow that guidance. The world will only begin to change when you wake up and take charge of your own power. You are the savior you've been waiting for. Go save yourself!

The Turning Point

Today, all eyes are on Greece and the markets. Greece itself has declared a banking holiday today because it is getting ready to default on loans, potentially setting off a chain reaction that will ultimately lead to the demise of the petrodollar. The Asian markets are already down substantially, and the markets in Europe are falling.

That said, if I know anything about the powers that be, they will do their best to prop up the markets--even if it means publicly lying about them and manipulating the actual sales statistics. Otherwise, they will have to admit defeat. The demise of their power (the petrodollar) is not an easy thing for them to admit to. Because they totally control the mainstream media, they do have the power to put off the inevitable. Reality is largely what most people believe it to be. If a fact is generally ignored by the public, the powers that be can use that ignorance to perpetuate their myth.

The thing is, there is a point where the majority finally know something is up, and it is coming sooner rather than later. More and more people wake up to what is going on around them every day. The distractions and manipulations are becoming so commonplace they are beginning to be obvious to even those most asleep.

Look at all the things going on in the United States in the past two weeks. A racially motivated church killing in the deep South. Controversy over an old symbol of slavery (the Confederate flag). The US Supreme Court ruling all gay marriages to be constitutional. Even though there is much debate going on, the American people have been largely peaceful. They can distract us enough to argue, but they cannot goad us into fighting.

The final turning point will be when they can no longer distract us enough to waste time arguing. When the majority can finally look at news on the mainstream media and say, "This is garbage! What is really going on behind the scenes?", then we will know their time is finally over.

The turning point comes when the majority stops playing the manipulation game and begins thinking for themselves. It may come today. It may come a few months from now, but it is definitely coming. The momentum is too great to stop it.

We are on the brink of amazing change! Chin up! The light is coming!!!

Our Choices Determine Our Future

It never ceases to amaze me how easily manipulated we humans are. Here in the United States, we go back and forth between issues like gun control, racism, and gay marriage all within the blink of an eye. Most of us have opinions on these issues and more, so it becomes easy to get us all enmeshed in this battle or that battle, depending on what the media presents to us on that particular day.

The bright light that has sustained me for the past week and a half is the actions of the people of Charleston in reaction to the church shooting there. In a time of tragedy, these people have chosen to not act on the hype. They have not allowed a racially motivated shooting to put them into a state of fear and fighting. They speak of love and forgiveness. They have joined hand in hand with their fellow Americans and proclaimed, "We are ONE!" They have even been able to dispel potential trouble that was brought in from outside sources to try to create a riot in the name of racism!!! This is nothing short of a miracle in my book as I look at similar racial tensions in other parts of the United States (Ferguson, MO and Baltimore, MD more specifically) and the results in those places.

Does Charleston still have problems? You bet! Those pockets of racism that existed before the incident have not gone away. This is true everywhere in the country (and even in the rest of the world). They still have our human flaws.

It is not belief that makes the people of Charleston different from those in the rest of the country or even the rest of the world. The difference is their choice!!! They could have chosen to follow the guidance of the media and fight with their fellow humans over race. They could have protested the biogtry. They could have allowed violence to erupt. They could have gotten all hot and bothered over the media's use of the Confederate flag to draw out more hate. After it was all said and done, they still chose love, peace and forgiveness.

This is the choice that every one of us must now make!!! It is time to recognize the many ways we are led into battle with each other, and it is time to resist!!! Resist the temptation to debate why gay marriage is "right" or "wrong". Defy the media when they promote stories on gun control.  Refuse to engage in the battle!!! Don't allow them to separate us from one another!!!

We stand at the edge of a precipice. We can choose to step out into the nothingness and into our own deaths, or we can begin building a bridge that will lead us to the paradise that awaits us on the other side. Each time we seek out love, each time we seek out peace, each time we seek out unity, we build that bridge that leads to the promised land.

It is not our beliefs that determine our future. It is our choices. Choose with intention.

Laughter Is Good For the Soul!!!

When I was a Pre-Kindergarten teacher, one of my favorite questions to ask my 4 year old students was, "What are the names of your parents?" A few of them occasionally knew that mom's name was Courtney or dad's name was Tom, but most of them would tell me, "Mom" or "Dad"!!!
Don't forget to SMILE!!!

The Choice

I saw a lot of discussion on social media about the Supreme Court of the United States and their decision to legalize gay marriage throughout the country. While I do have an opinion, my goal is not to choose a side. I have many friends on both sides of the debate whom I love dearly. This is one of those issues that is not a hot button topic for me. I am good with whatever choice you make, and I will still love you regardless of your decision.

And that's the part of this discussion that people seem to be missing. Love. Pure, simple, unconditional love.

I once saw a sign in a gift shop that spoke volumes to me. It proclaimed, "You 'Like' someone because. You 'Love' someone although." As I stopped to ponder that, the meaning became clear. You 'Like' people because they're smart or pretty or funny. The people you 'Like' are generally those you choose to hang out with because you have similar interests and get along well with. You 'Love' someone although they have flaws and do things you don't necessarily care for. Unconditional 'Love' says, "I may not always like or believe in what you do, but I will always care about you regardless."

Whether you believe being gay is good or bad, whether you believe it's a natural inclination or a choice, it's hard for me to understand not loving someone else. Real love places no conditions on the recipient. It is given freely without strings.

No matter what you believe, it is God (whoever or whatever you believe "God" to be) who will ultimately sort these things out. Why make your life more difficult fighting over beliefs?

The choice is not about whether to accept someone who is gay. It is not about judging their lifestyles or their choices. Ultimately, the choice is about whether you can love unconditionally. As for me, I choose love.

Just Breathe!

Lately, it seems as though I am in the direct path of the hurricane. On the macro level, false flag events, political agendas, and economic collapse seemed poised for action. On the micro level, trying to help my family work through personal issues and crises seems to have become the norm. At all levels I never know quite what to expect next. The people, events and situations all change suddenly leaving me reeling in the gale as it passes.

My meditation time this morning was a reminder to stop and make sure my own needs are being met. With all the stresses floating freely in the atmosphere these days, it makes sense to make the time to stay grounded and centered. Otherwise, you will be much more battered around by the storm than necessary. The storms of life are meant to test us and strengthen us. They can also break us if we don't take the time to anchor ourselves in.

Find a few minutes to take a break from the hurricane around you. Sit back in a comfortable chair. Close your eyes. Take calm, deep breaths in and out. As you exhale, allow the stresses in your world be expelled, As you inhale, feel yourself breathing in all the hope and promise the world has to offer. Envision yourself using your gifts and talents in ways that will not only make you happy but will help others be happy as well.

Remember that the storm is here to sweep out everything that does not serve us. While it is not a comfortable process, it is a necessary one. Sometimes the only way something good and strong can be built is by first tearing down the old, unstable structure.

I'll leave you with a quote from Richard Bach:
The mark of your ignorance is the depth of your belief in injustice and tragedy. What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the Master calls the butterfly.

Recognizing the Pattern

I have a dear friend that grew up in Chile. In 1970, Chileans elected a popular socialist, Salvador Allende, to become president. The United States government (in reality transnational corporate interests) feared the proposed state takeover of certain Chilean industries, particularly Chile's copper industry. (You can read more about US intervention in the situation at this US government history website.) My friend was young and married at the time. Her husband was an activist who was extremely supportive of Allende and his proposed changes.

My friend has told me on numerous occasions how popular Allende's agenda was because it thought to give control of Chile's resources back to the people who actually lived there. Behind the scenes, however, they could see the intervention of the US government, who used CIA operatives to destabilize the country. One of the main things they did was pay people to start riots. My friend said it was obvious to them all how outside influences were working to destabilize the popularly elected president, but nothing they did was able to stop it. Destabilizing the country allowed the military to rise up to try to get things under control. The coup happened in 1973. After the dust settled, a general by the name of Augusto Pinochet came to power. My friend's activist husband was placed into prison for several years. When he was finally freed, the young couple fled to Spain to begin a new life not under the dictator's control.

The thing that bothers me so much about this story is the subtle way the US government worked to destabilize someone else's government. Yes, it had to do with capitalism, but the fact of the matter is the US was not fighting for freedom or what was best for the people of Chile. It was destabilizing another country to make sure that the interests of transnational corporations were being maintained.

Why do I have a problem with that? What is good for the rich man is not good for the poor man. Poor people in countries like Chile end up becoming the slave labor force, working for pennies on the dollar for an extremely meager subsistence way of life. Why should they not benefit more from the resources their country has to offer? Mother Earth does not charge anyone for living here, but gives all her resources freely (even to her own destruction). This is why Allende had been elected in the first place--to actually help his people get more from the price for their labor.

The United States military is not here to serve and protect the interests of the American people. It is here to serve the interests of their corporate masters. How can I say that when I know they are fighting terrorism around the world so that we remain free? Because I understand the pattern of manipulation that takes place so we believe our military is necessary to tame chaos around the world.
Fact of the matter is, they use this pattern of manipulation right here in the United States itself in order to pass laws that cement their agenda.

Look at the stuff taking place in Charleston right now! A white, high school dropout from the state capital of Columbia with a very racist outlook on life just happens to pick out a black church in Charleston that has a history of being associated with a slave revolt. (Question: How does a poor, white high school dropout know this history?) He enters the church, sits through a prayer meeting and then proceeds to shoot nine people to death. Interestingly enough, the pastor, Clementa Pinckney, also happens to be a South Carolina state senator. How coincidental is that?

Now look at what has happened in the week since the incident has taken place. They identified the shooter and caught him in the small town of Shelby, North Carolina. The people of Charleston and of South Carolina decided that unity and working together was a better answer to the racially motivated killings. The families of the slain spoke of pain at their losses, but also of forgiveness. Even though race and religion were both tossed out repeatedly by the media as reasons for the slayings, no one chose to manifest their feelings in violent or destructive ways.

Less than one week after the tragedy (and no violence manifested), a group of unknown protesters decides to make a scene at the memorial site just outside of the Emmanuel AME Church, where the shootings took place. They said things like "arm yourself or harm yourself" and "never forget, never forgive". (For full coverage of the story click on link here.) At this point, we have to ask ourselves who sent them. They obviously wanted to start trouble with slogans like that. Ironically, the good people of Charleston managed to overcome the violence through speaking of love and asking the protesters to leave the city.

Let's look at the pattern. A highly coincidental shooting takes place at a historic African American church. Even though the media draws out the ideas that the act was racially motivated, no racial violence or chaos ensues. The media then draws attention to the flying of the Confederate flag at the state capital in Columbia and tries to engage the country in the racist symbolism it implies (which actually works better than the shootings did to create racial tension). As a last ditch attempt to create violence in Charleston, some unknown force sends in a group of protesters to try to promote chaos (which also does not work).

Why would the powers that be intentionally create such a situation? Perhaps it is better to see what else is going on in the country that happened when we were focused on the events in Charleston. Involving people in fighting among themselves is a great distraction for passing legislation that you don't want people to particularly understand or focus on.

While the country has been engaged in debates on racism and the Confederate flag, the US Senate managed to form an almost unheard of consensus of senators on both sides of the aisle to pass the fast-tracking of a new trade agreement know as the TPP, or Trans-Pacific Partnership. In a nutshell, this treaty will give world powers authority to override the rights of our constitution in favor of (you guessed it) corporations!!! If other countries refuse certain corporate goods, those corporations will be able to sue and override those actions. Other parts of this law include the ability to regulate the internet through the use of taxes, fines and imprisonment. It is most definitely a bad thing for America, so bad that legislators have told We the People that we are not allowed to know what is in it before they vote on it!!! We only know because of revelations by Wikileaks!!!

If you understand the pattern and what they do to create disruptions and distractions to manipulate us, you can begin to identify those actions they take to harm us. Don't be fooled. Our freedom ultimately depends on us being able to see beyond the lies.

Letting Go Of The Symbols Of Our Hate

In the face of an act of racial violence in Charleston, the people of South Carolina have shown it is possible to overcome racism through coming together in love. That was not the end result the powers that be hoped to see by setting up the circumstances for this act to take place. They wanted (and expected) chaos, violence and destruction to be the end result. When that did not occur, they had the media bring out the ever present symbol of hatred and slavery in the South--the Confederate flag.

I'm not here to tell you the Confederate flag has no meaning and is not associated with slavery and racial conflict. I do believe it still holds those connotations for African Americans as well as white people all over the country. I will say this. After over 20 years of living in the South and being associated with South Carolina for 35 years, white people in the South see it a little bit differently. It represents a part of their heritage and history. For most people in the South, it is not something that takes an overwhelming precedent in their lives. The vast majority of Southerners don't wave it around, fly it from their homes or even think about it on a daily basis. It is just something that identifies them with their ancestry. Still, the Confederate flag raises some lingering issues that people all over the country can't seem to get over.

I have a message for the people of the South. It is not meant with disrespect, nor is it meant to dismiss your collective heritage. It is designed as something to ponder and consider the ramifications of.

My Southern friends and neighbors of my adopted home,
Whether you like it or not, the Confederate flag has become a symbol for racism and hatred all over the United States and even the world. People not in the South see that image and assume that all of us in the South are racist and hate people who are not like us!!! They see that flag and believe that we are still of the same mentality we were in before Civil Rights or even the Civil War! You live here! You know that is not the case!!! The only way the rest of the people of the world will begin to understand the change is if we are publicly willing to give up our egos and let go of the symbols of our hate!!! That includes letting go of the symbolism of the Confederate flag. When we no longer cling to all those things that associate us with the negativity, they have one less way to fault our way of life. Be bold, rise up and take away their power to use this symbol to define who and what we are!!! Allow the Confederate flag to be relegated to the history books and find new ways to show the world exactly who you are!!! The actions in Charleston are one positive way we can forge ahead and become examples to the world of who we are and what the world can become in the face of hatred!!!
When we no longer cling to those symbols that represent our collective hatred, our rulers lose the ability to hold those symbols against us. In effect, we free ourselves from one more level of control. Isn't it time we begin to take back our power and create a life where love and freedom reign supreme?

Questions, Conspiracy, and Charleston

Once again my thoughts are running to the good people of Charleston, who have had their world turned upside down through a cold and calculated event. Looking at some of the evidence now coming out, my mind comes up with many more questions than answers.

My mind first turns to the agenda points of this story. Racist white man enters a black church and opens fire. The President, of course, comes out almost immediately and talks about the need to better control guns. He also talks about the attack in terms of racism and religion. Gun control. Two politically divisive hotpoints: race and religion.

Next, my mind immediately goes to the killer, Dylann Roof. Evidence does seem to indicate he had white supremacist leanings. Extreme views are a definite weakness that would make one more vulnerable and open to violence. I wondered about potential drug use. Very quickly the information came out that he had a drug record. He was caught in possession of a drug known as suboxone, which is used to help people get off harder illegal drugs. It is also associated with violence. This is all stuff that would make Roof more likely to be influenced to commit a violent act.

My next thoughts question if he had any direct contact with someone with government agency ties. The FBI has been known to set people up to commit violence. They've helped "terrorists" come up with plans to bomb bridges and commit other destructive acts (then, of course, they would catch these "terrorists" to make themselves look good). Nothing. Yet.

Another immediate question I had was about the victims/potential targets at the church. The church itself, Emmanuel AME church, was extremely symbolic. It had been started by slaves who later tried to lead a revolt and were hanged for it. Then there was the pastor, Clementa Pinckney, who was not only a religious leader but also happened to be a South Carolina state senator. Political ties. What didn't they like about this man?

This is where the mind of a conspiracy theorist wanders. This is also where I would exercise a word of caution. In recent years, the imaginations of conspiracy theorists have wandered dramatically. I've seen many postings about faking incidents--many of which do seem to have some basis in fact. However, I do believe the powers that be have mixed it up a bit. Not everything is totally faked or totally real. They do this with intention because it makes people follow up on wild goose chases and makes them look ridiculous. Very easy to point out someone who has made these sort of mistakes and discredit them.

I will say this about Charleston. I believe the deaths to be very real, as I have a good many friends in South Carolina. One of them knew the Reverend Pinckney personally.

I'm sure that much more information will come up in the days ahead. Make sure to follow your heart for guidance and clues that will lead you toward truth!!! Discernment is key in the treacherous waters we currently find ourselves in. Stay aware.

Your World Reflects Your Perception

I had a really interesting conversation with an old friend last night. In the process, I discovered we have extremely different outlooks in life even though the energies we actually choose to be are quite similar. He sees racism in the United States as an extreme that is pervasive in our society. For him, it is as though most people are racist. In my view of the world, most people are not racist. Does racism exist? Of course it does!!! I just don't see it as the common mentality that my friend believes it is. Why do we see things so differently? What could be the cause of our difference in perspective?

I can tell you why I don't see racism as a big problem. My early years were spent in Dayton, Ohio. In the 70's, the Dayton Public School system decided they needed to integrate their schools. This created a lot of "white flight" out of the school system--either through moving out of district or enrolling in private school. Once the dust settled, I went from a school that was almost all white to 2/3 black. It did not bother me. I was up for meeting and getting to know people who were different from myself.

This was by far a very positive experience for me. I learned so much and made some really incredible new friends. However, I also learned something about racism. In the early days of my new school, I made a new black friend named Nora. We got along well and enjoyed hanging out at school. Then one day a few weeks into the school year, Nora came to school and told me her mother told her not to be my friend because I was white. It made me sad, and it also made me aware that prejudice could go both ways.

When I moved to South Carolina in high school, I thought I knew what to expect. I truly expected there to be great separations between whites and blacks--obvious racism. What I saw did not meet my expectations. Even though the majority of my school was white, I can't recall any racial tension. I had black friends in my classes. White and black athletes hung out together. There were always black girls voted into the school pageant and as cheerleaders. The tension and separation I expected to see and feel was just not there.

I went to college in Iowa and then lived there a total of twelve years. Even though Ames, the area I spent most of that time in, and Iowa State University were thought of as open to other cultures because they had allowed George Washington Carver to attend university there, I actually found more racism in Iowa than in any other place I had lived. I would hear other white people talk about black people and their culture and avoid them. Of course, I met many people in Iowa (not university types) who had almost never even been out of state. As there are not many black people in Iowa, Iowans don't have much of a chance to get to know people different from themselves.

My experiences here in Georgia have been very positive regarding racism. I not only have many black friends, but I have made friends of people from pretty much all cultures, all religions, and all races. I very rarely come into contact with people who truly dislike people different from themselves. I admit, when I feel that energy I tend to do what I can to get away from it. It literally repels me.

And maybe that's the difference between myself and my friend. I seem to end up in places that put me into contact with people very similar to myself--not similar race but similar love energy. People who are open to relationship and seek out love.

On those occasions when I come into contact with racism, I do what I can to show them another way to function. I don't call them out on it and tell them how horrible it is. I look at their hurt and do what I can to try to heal it. Racism is the result of unhealed fear, anger and pain.

Ultimately, what I have experienced in my life is a reflection of how I believe others are going to respond to me. Hopefully, I can share that with all those I come into contact with.

Truth and Propaganda

I was disturbed by a new meme I saw online, posting side by side pictures of what is being promoted as racially preferential treatment of whites vs blacks in the United States. It was a picture of Charleston church shooting suspect Dylann Roof in custody side by side with a picture of the little African American girl at the pool party in Texas that was manhandled by police.
The picture of white Roof clearly shows him being handled with kid gloves. The pool party picture shows an obviously unarmed African American girl being thrown to the ground by a police officer.
Why does the comparison disturb me? I don't believe it is a fair or truthful comparison.

Let me explain why. While I have no personal police experience, I was previously married to a cop. I used to listen to his stories about what happened on the job, and I have a pretty good idea of what happens in various types of situations. My complaint about this side by side comparison stems from the fact that the two "suspects" are in two very different parts of the process.

The picture of Roof was taken when he was already in police custody. The business of his actual arrest was not portrayed--largely because such operations are done secretly in order to catch the suspect unaware. Let me tell you how Roof's arrest went down. They got a tip that he was in Shelby, North Carolina. At that point, the local police began their search and found him. They then watched Roof''s behaviors while the FBI and Charleston police were notified. Once federal authorities were on the scene, they came up with a plan to nab Roof in a location where he was likely to be alone so that no other person was injured. Then tons of police in protective gear would have surrounded and stormed his location, hopefully catching him unaware to reduce the likelihood of anyone else being injured. My point here is that the actual arrest is where the adrenaline kicks in. It is at the point of the adrenaline rush where poor judgment often comes into play. In the picture of Roof, he has already been arrested. He is already handcuffed behind his back and is wearing leg shackles. He is clearly not a threat to his escorts. My point here is, this is a transportation scenario only.

The picture of the teenage girl was of a potential arrest scenario, not a transportation scenario. There were scores of kids and just a handful of cops to disperse the crowd. Adrenaline was running high. Do I believe the cop exercised poor judgment? You bet I do!!! The girl was not a threat to him. Were the cops focusing on the black kids at the pool party? Yes, I believe they were!!! The thing is, this picture was taken at the height of the tension, not in the aftermath when things had time to calm down.

A more truthful comparison would have been to compare a picture of the ambush police executed on Roof in order to take him into custody. It may actually have depicted the situation the way it is being portrayed in the meme above. It's difficult to say, however, since the picture may not even exist. There were definitely no bystanders around able to turn on their cell phone cameras to watch the unfolding event. When police know they need to catch someone who is armed and dangerous, they make plans to avoid injury to innocent bystanders.

I am not denying that prejudice and unfair treatment exist. Prejudice does exist and it's important to stand up and speak out against it. What I am protesting is presenting evidence that raises emotion without the benefit of full and transparent disclosure. Comparing a transportation picture to an arrest/capture picture is an unfair bias.

Propaganda is a huge problem in our society today. Think of it as modern day advertising. The powers that be are trying to sell us a bill of goods to get us to think and behave in certain ways. They manipulate words and pictures in order to play on our emotions. Most of this is done with a plan to get us to identify with certain groups and align with them so we will fight against anyone who has a different point of view. When we swallow their propaganda BS without questioning it, we are a herd of sheep potentially being lured to our own slaughter.

There is a fine line between truth and propaganda. Don't allow your objectivity to be influenced by the powerful emotions created by the slightly twisted truths of propaganda. It is truth that sets us free!!!

A Tale Of Two Countries

Once upon a time (2008 to be exact), there were two countries. One was called Iceland, a small island nation in the North Atlantic. The other was called the United States of America, a rather larger and much more world dominating country extending from the Atlantic to the Pacific. Both were part of the same banking cartel, and both were hit hard by the financial bubble that plagued the world that year.

The banking problems in Iceland stemmed from the fact that the banks promised investors higher interest returns than their overseas competition. Complicating this was all the risky projects the banks had used the investment money on. When the projects went belly up, so did Iceland's economy.

In the United States, the exact circumstances were different, but the results were the same. Banks had approved people for mortgages they couldn't truly afford. More and more people were foreclosed on, and these mortgage investments were tied in very complicated ways to almost every other sort of bank investment. The end result was that the housing market collapsed, and with it pretty much every other market and the economy collapsed along with it.

Both countries initially made moves to keep their economies going by making arrangements with the banks to pay. In Iceland (as they like to do in most European countries), they introduced "austerity" measures. Basically these are cuts to the government economies that typically effect the little people because these measures are tied to employee pensions and welfare benefits. In the United States, politicians authorized the Federal Reserve Bank to print more money to give to the big banks to keep them afloat. Interestingly enough, the two strategies have the same effect: they give more money to the banks. Austerity is used to pay down the banking debt more quickly. Additional interest was added to the already huge national debt of the United States. Who receives the interest money? The Federal Reserve Bank, of course!!!

This is where the stories become completely different. The people of Iceland looked at their financial crisis, and this is what they found. Their politicians had been corrupted by the powerful banking industry. They made laws and approved measures that awarded vast sums of money to the banks while taking that same money out of the hands of the citizens. Icelanders were smart enough to take action. They took those corrupt politicians out of office (and jailed many of them). They also nationalized the banks and kicked the criminal banking cartel out! They guaranteed the deposits of their citizens but refused to pay their foreign debt. They also closely examined all debt. Loans (especially mortgages) that were found to be corrupt were deemed illegal and were forgiven!!! Icelanders even rewrote their constitution!!! They were initially subject to sanctions by other countries of the world because of their refusal to play the banking game. Icelanders had to promote their own internal industry in order to supply their own needs, but it has indeed paid off for them. Their economy has made a big comeback as they have overcome their need for other countries.

The United States of American continued to play the banking cartel's game. More debt (and more payment) continues to be racked up by the US government, just to pay the interest on the national debt. Any infrastructure enhancement is done by asking for more loan money from the Federal Reserve Bank, which increases our debt payment. In the meantime, the big world banks have been found to be manipulating both the interest rates and the markets to line their pockets even more. The criminals in charge are still allowed to run these organized crime rings after being given handslap fines. At present, the United States is on the verge of another collapse as the economy is now based largely on derivatives. In a nutshell, derivatives are bets. They are not actual investments--just "potential" investments. One faulty set can bring down the whole house of cards, and that is in process of happening when Greece defaults on their loans.

So what needs to happen to get the United States (and the rest of the world) out from under the thumb of the banking cartel? The following is a list of understandings the citizens of the world need to make.

  1. We need to recognize the debt owed by governments to banks is fake. It is based on money and resources that don't exist except on a computer monitor.
  2. We need to thoroughly investigate our politicians to find out where the corruption lies, then we need to take them out of office and prosecute and imprison them where it is warranted.
  3. We need to make a fresh start and forgive bank loans that are corrupt and unfair (which would probably be most of them).
  4. We need to change our usury loan system to an asset based system.
The biggest difference between the people of Iceland and the people of the United States is awareness. The people of Iceland chose to recognize the con game they had been involved in and took responsibility to get themselves out of it. Here in the United States, we still fail to recognize that we are being used and abused by a banking system that wants to claim everything for itself. Consequently, we will allow ourselves to be taken once again when the economy collapses (again).

Awareness is the key to our freedom.

The War We Know Nothing About

Stories like this hit the headlines more and more often: gunman storms into a building and kills random people. This time it happened in Charleston, South Carolina in a historically black church, a lone white gunman responsible. The pastor was killed along with eight other people. It seems like an open and shut case of race hate.
Emanuel African Methodist, Episcopal Church, Charleston, SC

What stands out to me most is the name of one of the other victims: State Senator Clementa Pinckney. Apparently, this SC state senator was a supporter for recent legislation that includes making body cameras mandatory for law enforcement officers in the state (among other pieces of legislation). The thing is, when a politician becomes a victim in such an act of violence, the violence ceases to be random. There is more motive than just race. You also have to wonder about all the bomb threats that have been called in associated with this case after the fact.

Yes, crazy people happen. They go off the deep end and do things that reflect their insanity. However, I am convinced there is a lot more control over these seemingly random events than meets the eye.

Look at the Denver movie theater shooting. Brilliant college student goes ballistic, kills 12 people and injures 70 others who were simply watching a movie. Insanity and brilliance often team up. However, he was an honor student working on his PhD in neuroscience. He also had ties to DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency). My thoughts go to questions like, "What does a neuroscience student do with DARPA?" and "Did he allow himself to to be experimented on?" I definitely believe there are massive mind control operations at work out there. Was he perhaps influenced by such things? Then there are questions about how many people were actually involved in the shooting. They only nabbed James Holmes, but according to eyewitness testimony after the incident there was more than one person involved.

There are all sorts of stories in the news about people dying, seemingly random stuff. Lots of bankers. Family members of very powerful and influential people. Plane crashes. Cancer. Strange accidents. (Think gym equipment "malfunctions" and freak biking accidents in the Alps.)

When these stories enter your thoughts and leave you with more questions than answers, understand this is the connection you have to your heart and Oneness trying to make you aware of important information!!!

The world is in the middle of great change and chaos. There are battles going on we know nothing about because if we did we might choose to take action to correct such imbalances. The world needs your help in this time of great struggle! Allow yourself to become aware of the information that is trying to make itself known. The more aware you become, the more power you have to be positive change in the world.

My Brother's Keeper

I read a news story out of Texas about an arrest warrant issued for a 75 yr old woman because the lawn on some property she owned was too long. Supposedly the warrant was for her failure to appear in court over the matter, but my question is, why in the heck did she need to appear in court over her yard in the first place?

Because the town has "standards"? Because some jackass neighbor complained? Because someone on the town council had nothing better to do? GIVE ME A FLIPPIN' BREAK!!! WHATEVER HAPPENED TO KINDNESS?

As it turns out, there are still good people in the world!!! In this case, four young brothers saw the story and decided to do something about it! They brought lawnmowers and began the work on the lawn. When some of the neighboring folk realized what was going on, they joined in! My question is, where were these neighbors when the 75 yr old woman needed them in the first place?

Do you look at a neighboring yard and think, "They really need to spruce up their property. Our land values are going to go down!" or do you see something unkempt and wonder what the problem is? Did no one think to dig for a little more information on the woman and her property?

That, my friends, is the heart of everything that is wrong in the world! We are so busy with our own lives and our own problems we don't stop and think someone else might also have unmet needs!!! Our hearts are constantly pointing out things that are amiss in our world, and yet we do nothing to follow up on those little awarenesses until someone is in trouble!!! Even then  we don't always do anything to help!!!

I was a single mom for over ten years, and I know what a struggle it can be to get everything done when you're trying to raise kids, work a job and pay the bills. My sons were a huge help when they were old enough to do things like mow the yard. They even helped mow my next door neighbor's yard (another single mom)!!! At present, my husband also mows the yard across the street that belongs to another single and disabled mom!!!

Get to know your neighbors!!! You might just find out the yard that hasn't gotten mowed belongs to a man who has been taking care of his father after a stroke! You may find your neighbor has been out of work for six months and has no money for necessary repairs! Stop blaming and start neighboring!!! We can accomplish a lot of good in the world when we listen to the needs that are out there and take an active role in seeing those needs met!!!

I don't care what anyone says. I am my brother's keeper!!! AND SO ARE YOU!!!
(End of rant!!!)

Seeing Past the Lies

Once upon a time, there was a CIA asset named Tim Osman. He was born of rich oil men and was wealthy in his own right. He are told he wanted to help the people of Afghanistan rid themselves of their communist (Russian) invaders. It was the height of the Cold War, and sympathies against communist rule were strong in the States.

After a tour of US military installations and weaponry, Tim and his colleagues were trained to fight using funds from the US government. With the help of the United States, they were eventually able to rid themselves of these communist invaders.

What supposedly happened next transformed the United States of America (and the world) forever. Tim turned on the United States, the source of his help. We were told it was because it was a holy war--a jihad--and that we were a nation of infidels. They began a campaign of attacks inside the United States aimed at taking down a symbolic financial institution. In 1993 a car bomb was planted in the basement of the North Tower of the World Trade Center. Less than ten years later, the twin towers (and World Trade Center building 7) were taken down by an act of terrorism blamed on Tim Osman's group, al Qaeda. The idea of Tim Osman, or Osama bin Laden as we came to know him, was used as a rallying point to get the American people to back the idea of war (not to mention allow the government to take away our Constitutional rights through to Patriot Act).

It does not matter who you are. We are all considered expendable by those we trust and expect to keep us safe. We can instantly be turned from ally to enemy with a few twisted words and the power of a highly controlled press.

Why do I point this out now? I feel as though the stage is being set to get the American people (and perhaps the world) to back certain ideas that are designed to trap us even further. This is a warning to remain alert to the false flag attacks that will come up in the near future.

How can we know if this is an event used to distract and/or influence our thoughts in certain ways? By taking the time to connect within and connect to the wisdom of the One. Our minds, with their limited information, can be fooled quite easily. It has happened time and time again throughout history. By staying connected to our hearts, we can see past the obvious to the truth that lies within. We will continue to be slaves if we cannot see the lies that have been created to ensnare us.

We are headed toward a time of financial chaos as the system changes over. I expect there are incidents planned by the powers that be to distract us and keep us fighting for their system. We have the power to stop those plans by connecting to the guidance within. The difference between survival and destruction lies in the ability to see beyond the illusions.

I believe we all have the power to make a difference for the better--that life can be so much more beautiful than anything we have seen in this lifetime--if we learn to be aware and see past the lies.

Preparing For Collapse

Regardless of the fact that the powers that be have managed to prolong their stay in power, change is coming. There is not much you can learn in the mainstream media yet, but the collapse is on course if you follow the signs. Greece is key here because once they are officially declared bankrupt and pull out of the Euro, the other EU nations (and the banks they prop up) will all have to declare bankruptcy as well because their economies are based largely on derivatives, which are not actual assets but the promise of future assets. Once this happens, the dollar will also collapse as this has been used to prop up the same system.

That said, the powers that be have done a really good job over the years convincing people we need their system. Through use (and monopoly control) of the mainstream media, they have given us working memes that prop up their system. Remember the collapse of 2008? The biggest meme here in the US (used to justify the bank bailouts) was that the banks were "too big to fail".

Let's take a look at "too big to fail". It was thought that if we let the big banks fail, our nation's economy would totally sink. All the big businesses that the banks prop up would also fail, leaving people jobless and destitute. The irony of all this has been, the banks received more money to gamble with (after gambling and losing all their previous gambling money). Corporations continued to hemorrhage jobs while paying their bigwigs million dollar salaries. The rich continued to get richer, the poor continued to get poorer, and the middle class became smaller. The fact of the matter is, job creation is still based largely on small businesses that had absolutely nothing to do with the financial mess in the first place. All their economy is designed to do is take more and more from the little guy. Don't believe me? Google Libor scandal and Forex scandal to learn how the banks are literally manipulating interest rates and the markets in order to pocket more loot than they deserve. (And none of the bank CEO's involved in these scandals went to prison where they belonged!!!) We have been sold a bill of goods where nobody pays except We the People!!!

That said, living through such change will not be easy. For a while, it might be difficult to access the luxury items (that may not seem so luxury here in the US) we use every day. Things we import from other countries, like coffee and cheap clothing and electronics, will inevitably become more costly. On the positive side, jobs will inevitably be created as we become much more dependent on ourselves to produce the goods we need right here in our own country.

There are many people out there who believe there are funds that have been set up out there for years that will head off the coming crisis. While I would like to believe this (and I do believe funds are out there), accessing them will not be as easy as we think. We have been taught in our society to watch for saviors that never actually come because the real saviors are we ourselves. The process of change will not happen overnight because there are way too many people who believe the myths the powers that be have encouraged to keep themselves in power.

Now, more than ever, survival for everyone will be dependent on living from the heart. We need to use what assets we do have to help those less fortunate. We need to make sure everyone has enough food to eat and their basic living requirements met.

Even more importantly, we need to tune in to our hearts for the wisdom and knowledge that comes from connection. When we ask our hearts what our next move should be, don't question its seemingly random advice!!! Following inner guidance does not always make sense in the beginning, but as events begin to play out you will see how this action falls into place!

The end of society as we know it does not have to be a scary thing. The powers that be want us to be scared because our fear will cause us to keep them in power. Understand that the breakdown of something we have always known allows us the opportunity to create something much better in its place!!!

Use this time of transition to clear away the debris from old, worn out system and build a new society on a bedrock foundation so our children and grandchildren can live healthier, stronger and more prosperous lives!!! Our future is entirely dependent on our actions. Choose to make the world a better place for all!!!

On BEing Unconditional Love

I remember an incident when I was in first or second grade. A new girl had come to school. Her clothes were old. Her hair was an unruly brown. What made her stand out the most, however, was the eye patch she was forced to wear because one of her eyes was "lazy". In those days, it was thought that using the "lazy" eye would strengthen it so they would cover the stronger eye up with a patch. She sat huddled by the wall of the school at recess time while several other children stood around her. As I approached, I could hear what the other children were saying that made the girl huddle over. They were picking on her, calling her names.

A fierce rage came over me as I watched the other girl sink lower into herself. I could feel her terrible hurt. I also felt the need to show the bullies what it felt like to be bullied so they would stop. I called each one of them out, pointing out obvious flaws. I also pointed out how awful they now felt and that was what they were creating for the new girl. They stopped and walked away. I did what I could to comfort the girl before I left her with a smile on her face.

I was unusually blessed in my early life to have parents and a church community that showed unconditional love to everyone. Visitors and new people that arrived at church were always greeted and talked to, regardless of what they looked like or who they were. They may have arrived as strangers, but they always left as friends. I learned early on that everyone has something good about them that can't always been seen on the outside. I was also blessed to be a fairly cute and outgoing child, so I could get away with bullying the bullies with no ill effects upon myself.

There will always be people who come into your life who are different. They may be dirty or ugly or sick. They may be so angry at the world that the only actions they take are to attack. Often the first thing we want to do is run away from them.

And that is the very thing we need to avoid doing. Running away from problems will not make them go away. They continue to follow you around, even if the exact people and situations change. Dealing with the problem then and there is the solution. Unconditional love can be our tool!!!

Unconditional love says, "It doesn't matter who  you are, what you have done or even what you are doing." It continues to love without limits. Unconditional love is one of the most powerful states to be in. It invades without destroying. It breaks down barriers. It softens those things it comes into contact with, allowing them to open up and eventually become love. Unconditional love does not always work quickly, but it always works.

Unconditional love sees past the ugly. It sees past the pain and anger and aggression. It sees deep down to the BEing within and recognizes the true value and worth inside. Unconditional love is the only thing that can effectively counter all the hate and violence that fills our world.

Now more then ever, we are required to BE unconditional love in the world. It is the only thing that can truly save the planet.

When Spirit Leaves Body

Certain experiences stick with you forever. Losing my newborn daughter, Arielle, is one of them. It's been 25 years ago today, and yet it might be yesterday as clearly as it all comes back.

The prior 48 hours had been very stressful. I had gone to my obstetrician for my now weekly appointment. I was showing signs of pre-eclampsia (high blood pressure and protein in the urine) so he wanted to admit me to the hospital that night and induce labor in the morning. After notifying my supervisor at work, I packed my bag and was off.

They began the induction by breaking the amniotic sac. After twelve hours nothing much had happened so we chose to go ahead and have a c-section. They showed Arielle briefly to me before wheeling me into the recovery room. I remember the recovery room nurse asking if we had a name for the baby, and I didn't want to tell her what it was. We had worked really hard choosing a beautiful name, and I wasn't sure I wanted to commit it to this baby. I guess even then my heart was warning me that difficult waters were ahead.

Even though Arielle appeared healthy at first, she began showing signs of respiratory infection a few hours after birth. The decision was made to put her on intravenous antibiotics because she seemed to have similar symptoms of a male baby that had died a few weeks earlier from a Group B Strep infection. Even though Arielle had received antibiotics quickly, her health was deteriorating rapidly. They doctors wanted to ship her to a university hospital with a NICU that was equipped to give her white blood cells, which she needed to help fight the infection.

Arielle was taken to the University of Iowa Hospital in a specially equipped ambulance. While en route, they were able to get permission to have me taken to U of I Hospital as well. My nerves were wound tight waiting for word that Arielle had made it to Iowa City and was still alive.

My own health was touch and go for quite a while after arriving in Iowa City, although I was cognizant the whole time and was never worried for my health. I just know because they kept me in a Labor and Delivery Room for several hours, where the ratio of nurses to patient was 1:1. Sometime after daylight broke, Arielle's doctors brought me the painful news that her heart kept stopping and that, while they were still able to revive her, the time between incidents was decreasing. At some point they would not be able to revive her. My husband and I made one of the toughest decisions I have ever had to make: choosing to let her go.

I will never forget the hospital room. The door leading to the nursing station was on the wall to my right. In front of me were two doors, one to the room's bathroom and the other to a storage closet, with a round clock centered in between. The wall on my left contained a window from which sunlight poured in.

A doctor and a nurse, both female, both with tears in their eyes, brought Arielle to us the next time her heart stopped. I wanted to see her body one last time--count her fingers and toes, look at her dark, downy hair--so I unwrapped her from the blanket she was in. Even while I was holding her body and telling her how much I was going to miss her, I knew her spirit had already left her body. She knew there was no reason for her to continue to experience the pain her spent little body was still undergoing.

I knew exactly where her spirit was in the room. Even while I was looking at her perfect little body, I kept glancing up toward the ceiling and the wall clock. I kept thinking (and this was my mind's reasoning) that I wanted her to remember what I looked like so she would recognize me when at some point we were able to meet again.

I told her everything I needed to say. That I was sorry I wouldn't get to see her grow up. I regretted not having more time with her. After about half an hour, there was nothing left to say. It dawned on me the only reason she was there was because we needed her. Suddenly, it felt selfish to keep her there when she could be going on. I mentally made the decision to let her go. I looked over at my husband and asked him if he was ready to let her go. He thought about it for a moment and said, "Yes." In that very instant, Arielle's spirit left.

There have been times in the years since that I felt her presence. I haven't sought her out in years--I haven't really needed to. Some form of Arielle's energy has always managed to visit me when I really needed to know she was still okay. In the beginning, that happened a lot.

I believe the energies that are us reside in countless timelines, countless dimensions. The form I refer to as the higher self is the one most mediums pick up on when they come into contact with those loved ones we have lost. This is also the one that continues to live on in our hearts after their spirit has left their body.

Spirit is energy in its most basic form. We may not see it with our eyes, but we can sense when it is there. The challenge is to be aware of these presences in our everyday life. When we live through our hearts, the separation we call death is no longer separation. It becomes connection, and that enriches us all.

The Difference One Brief Life Can Make!

Twenty-five years ago today, I had a daughter. She was born by c-section after a 12+ hour induction that did not work, performed because I had developed a condition known as pre-eclampsia. While she was born seemingly healthy at 36 weeks, she had received a deadly dose of a bacteria during the birthing process, Group B Strep--a bacteria I apparently did not have an immunity to. Arielle, my precious firstborn, died less than a day after she was born because of a serious blood infection caused by the bacteria.

My grief drove me to find meaning in the experience. It would have been unbearable if I had not believed there was some greater purpose in her departure. For quite a few years I worked to educate people about Group B Strep as it was the biggest infectious killer of infants in the United States at that time. Although I am no longer convinced that antibiotics and vaccines are answers, I do believe this gave me an outlet to vent my feelings in a constructive way.

There were other insights the experience gave me. I had more compassion for people who experience miscarriage and stillbirth. I knew what had been helpful for me, and I tried to give that to others whether they had actually lost a baby or were trying to help someone else who had lost a baby. The other understanding I received was about death in general. The most important thing a person can do for someone who is grieving anyone is just to be there. You don't need to say anything. Just be willing to hold their hand, and allow them the space they need to grieve in their own way.

There is no longer any pain, although it took a long time for me to be able to say that. So much has happened in the intervening time that replaced the empty space Arielle's death created. I have had three other beautiful, intelligent and amazing children that have given me many happy moments I cherish. I even have a granddaughter who is the light of my life, as stubborn as she is in her almost 2 year old glory!!!

The thing about grief is, even though the separation is painful, it allows you to grow in ways you never thought possible. Life gets a little less shallow as you confront harsh realities. In so many ways, I am a much better, stronger and compassionate person because Arielle came into my life. One brief life has the power to make a world of difference. I will never be the same, and it was worth it!!!

The Power To Change The World!!!

Years ago, my sister and brother-in-law had a dream. They wanted to share their love and enjoyment of wine with other people, so they opened a wine shop in the little Georgia town they lived in. It was actually a great place to do something like that. There is industry in the area and it is situated between Atlanta and Chattanooga that allowed traffic from both hubs.

The wine shop did really well. They had a really loyal clientele, and they were even able to convert a good many staunch beer drinkers through their fun and informative wine tastings and classes. It was the sort of place where you could walk in the door as a stranger and leave feeling like you were a friend. I always likened it to the Cheers bar on the infamous tv show--a place where everybody knows your name.

With the success of the wine shop, my sister and brother-in-law decided to expand on their dream and open a gourmet restaurant in conjunction with it. They bought some adjoining land and built a small but elegant restaurant which included a courtyard where people could eat outside during nice weather. The restaurant opened just as the housing bubble crisis hit the US in September of 2008.

Needless to say, times quickly became rough. I believe they might have weathered the storm if it had just been the wine shop, but with the extra investment and expense that came with the restaurant they struggled. Dining in fine restaurants becomes an extravagant luxury when people are losing their jobs. In the end, they could find no more money from banks. They had friends with money that wanted to pool it together to keep the business afloat, but unfortunately the laws here in Georgia are such that investing like that is illegal. The death of a dream is always painful.

Why do I write about this now? I feel it is important for people to know the world we live in really is against the little guy (and we're pretty much all little guys). It is not designed to help the average Joe. It is designed to empower and enrich those who already have too much power and money.

Small businesses here in the United States fail at a rate of 8 out of every 10. Is it because they don't have a good product or service? I don't believe it is in most cases. I believe it is because the deck is stacked against them. It can be extremely hard to compete with the big boys. Businesses like Walmart, with their billions in tax breaks and subsidies (aka corporate welfare), come in and sell their wares at sub-competitive prices, driving out simple folks just trying to make a living. Then there are the problems with laws. What we don't see when these laws get passed is that they are designed to make it difficult for little people to do things like pool their money together and invest in businesses. After all, the banks and venture capitalists couldn't make their money if the little people were allowed to do this legally, right?

Deep in your heart, you understand it is a tough world. Many of you feel trapped. There is good reason. The powers that be have constructed it that way so they continue to hold the power.

The simple truth is, we have the power to change our circumstances!!! All it takes is for us to stand up and take responsibility for ourselves!!! When we find laws and practices that make it difficult for the little guy to get ahead, we need to change them!!! We need to stop supporting businesses like Walmart and buy things from the little guy down the street!!! We even need to be willing to step up ourselves and make our own voices and ideas heard through becoming involved in the political process!!!

The power to change the world lies in each one of us stepping up and taking control of our own power and our own lives! We cannot do it alone, as individuals, but there is massive strength in numbers!!! Face it, there are billions of us worldwide!!! It is only through joining together as One that we can make a difference!!! Stand up and shine!!!

What Living The Law Of Heart Looks Like

I have a really amazing friend on Facebook whom I have never met, but I think very highly of. Yes, on the surface she looks all bright and sunshiny and perfect. It isn't that she doesn't make mistakes. She does, just as we all do. Her power is that she understands her limitations and knows how to work around them so she is living the law of heart.

What is living the law of heart? It is following the wisdom and guidance that comes from allowing your heart to connect with the greater consciousness that is Oneness. My friend is definitely aware of this inner connection and listens to it to access greater insights than what her mind and her five physical senses allow her to access.

I know her through my interactions within the conspiracy theory community. She has been on the scene the whole time I have participated in one of my favorite Facebook groups, and I have communicated with her both through group postings and private messages. She is extremely passionate about exposing what is dark to the light and can be a tireless activist. From the outside, she is extremely admirable.

However, what is inside is even more important. She questions everything! When evidence shows up that contradicts what her mind and five senses have told her, she follows through with even more questions until she gets to the bottom of what is troubling her. Her heart is connected so well she is a pro at ferreting out truth. It may not always be instantaneous but she finds her way there eventually. And she acts on that truth! My friend lives a life of integrity. Her heart is what guides her there.

This friend is a true example of what it means to live the law of heart. She takes responsibility for who she is, what she thinks, and how she acts. She asks questions when things don't seem to make sense (listens to the wisdom of her heart). She makes sure that what she puts out into the world will come back to her and others as blessings.

This is what it looks like to live the law of heart. What will the world look like when more of us have the integrity to do this?

Watching The Endgame

I am convinced I am watching the last days of the US dollar (aka the Federal Reserve note). The signs are there, if you know where to look. You won't find it on the mainstream news. All you'll find there is "Everything is great!" and "Oh look! Caitlyn Jenner is out with her girlfriends!"

There are hints on the mainstream news. For example, CNN just did a story on big changes at HSBC. The opening statement is perhaps the most telling: HSBC will shed 50,000 jobs in the coming years as it sells parts of the bank to focus on Asia. Why is that telling? Because that is where the new BRICS development bank is operating from. Also of note in the article: they are selling operations in Brazil and expect 75% of all company software development to be done in India and China. BRICS stands for Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. You have to read between the lines when it comes to the mainstream media.

Another hint comes in the form of stories about the Greek economy. In the mainstream, the emphasis is on the other European Union (EU) countries negotiating payment plans for what Greece owes them. What the mainstream news won't tell us: the currently elected politicians were elected to get Greece out of the Euro, which means they are planning to default. Why is this important? The EU is a house of cards. They move payments around to their various member countries to make it appear they are all still solvent. I read an extremely good explanation of the situation. It's sort of like paying off your American Express card with your Visa, then paying off the Visa with your Mastercard, then using your American Express to pay off the Mastercard in a never-ending circle of debt. The problem is, when one country refuses to pay, none of them can pay!!!

The story that jumps out to me the most today though has to do with all the things going on with Deutsche Bank this week. Deutsche Bank, the German bank with the most derivative holdings had both its CEO's resign a couple of days ago. Then authorities in several different countries simultaneously raided various bank offices!!! The official word is that there was no wrongdoing by bank employees, but that is just what has been reported in the mainstream.

My heart is telling me there is so much more to this story. Such concerted effort wreaks of something really huge. Arrests (or potential arrests). Banks are our oppressors in so many ways. They launder money from criminal activity. They steal our money through manipulating currencies, markets and interest rates. The trap has not only been set, but it is closing in on its prey. There are many people around the world ready for change in the way our system operates and banks are primed for takeover!

Often in this human experience, we are in the middle of the game before we ever realize a game is being played. Let me make this clear: the endgame is going on right now and we're watching it!!! We just aren't aware that's what it is!!!

Allow yourself to tune in to the awarenesses that surround you. You just may find yourself in the middle of breaking history!!!

Refusing To Play the Game

There is a battle raging. The bad guys haven't quite figured out they have lost yet. While they think they still have a chance to win, they are continuing their game of creating noise, confusion and chaos in an attempt to keep us occupied and out of their hair. What they don't understand is how many people are beginning to wake up to their games.

Divide and conquer has always been a big part of their game plan. Anything and everything they can use to get us to fight gets played! Here in the US, there are many topics to choose from: race, religion, politics, sexual orientation, and lately even gender identity!!! We are taught it is important to stand up for what we believe in--for what is "right". What we fail to realize is that all fighting does is bring is more fighting and resentment. Fighting can never bring about peace because it's outcome is always win-lose. It is possible to force people into a situation they don't want to be in, but they will eventually try to escape when given the opportunity. That is the nature of the fight.

So how, then, can we stop the bad guys in their tracks? By refusing to play the game!!! Instead of forcing our beliefs on others and making them live like we think they should, it is time to begin practicing tolerance. Love our fellow humans instead of judging them. We don't have to like what they do, but we can still love them. True love is unconditional.

How do we know we are playing the game? What issues trigger our emotions? Gay rights? Islam or Christianity? Separation of church and state? Abortion? Politics? If it sets off anger or sadness, chances are it is something the powers that be use to distract.

What can we do to stop playing the Divide and Conquer game? The first step is to understand that humans typically act out what they have learned in their lifetimes. They don't act as they do just to piss us off!!! We all need to take a little responsibility for ourselves and our actions and not take things personally!!!

The next step is to begin asking questions. How can we show love to this person or group even though we don't like what they are doing? How can we make this a win/win situation where both sides can live as they choose? What are we refusing to see about the other's point of view? The actual questions are endless. What is important is that we begin asking them so we can gain new insights and understandings that might actually change how we act and react in the world.

We can bring in a new era of light and understanding!!! It isn't about fighting the "good" fight. There is never a good fight because fighting always ends in more problems. Choose tolerance. Choose patience. Choose love. In doing so, we refuse to play the game. We all win!!!

Laughter Is Good For the Soul!!!

Today's funny is a Jeff Dunham video where he asks Walter about the "Joys of Marriage"!!!

Land Of The Free?

I am a resident of the United States of America. Once upon a time, I was convinced it was the greatest place on planet Earth. Now I'm convinced it is nothing more than a gilded cage (with the gold plating wearing extremely).

I am free to vote on the candidate of my choice in an election. The thing is, these "choices" are now highly controlled. Think any Joe Schmo can run for office? Think again! You have to either be connected or have a huge bank account yourself in order to play with the big boys. Don't even bother if you're not running on the Democrat or Republican ticket!!! What's that meme they have made us all believe? "Nobody wins if they aren't Democrat or Republican, right?" If you look around at the people in office even down to the local level you will see there are very few exceptions to this rule. There is one other thing that makes you an ideal candidate: corruptibility. Those who can be blackmailed are more likely to become politicians because they are the ones that can be controlled.

I am free to live the "American Dream"!!! For most people, this means buying a house that you cannot afford so you can pay interest on a loan that was created from thin air when you signed on the dotted line. Yes, banks create money based on the "loans" they give away. It's part of the fractional reserve lending practices they participate in. Once you sign on the dotted line, you too are part of this debt slave system. It gets even worse as you think about all the things people go into debt for nowadays. Cars, computers, high def gaming systems, boats and every other luxury item imaginable. You too can live the life of your dreams as a debt slave!!!

But we have "free" education--at least until college. Our educational system has become one of being able to jump through certain hoops. This is where things like standardized testing and crap like Common Core come in. Our educational system is not about helping children cope in the world. It is all about producing little worker bees they can spit out into designated slots at the correct time!!! Work hard, make good grades, and you too can be slotted into the working world of drudgery and debt slavery!!! It doesn't really matter what your talents are as long as you have the ability to fill a job they need filled. Happiness is definitely optional!!!
Then there's the media. Everything is entertainment...even what gets posted as "news". Why in the world do we need to know if Justin Beiber is being named in a paternity lawsuit? Why is Caitlyn Jenner news? (It isn't as though she is the first person to undergo a sex change operation.) What we need to know about are things like the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP), which Congress is trying to pass secretly right now without the citizens of the US knowing a damn thing about what it contains!!! It is designed to give corporations the power to force their products into markets where they people have already rejected them!!! It also has broad powers to regulate the internet through taxes, fines, and imprisonment if you post something on there the powers that be don't like!!! WAKE UP, PEOPLE!!!

I am tired of conforming to the box I have been forced into by living in the United States. It isn't that I think living elsewhere would be better. I do not. I am just sick of the lies!!!

The only way to solve any problem is to first recognize you have one!!! I believe this country can be better. I believe this country can truly be free!!! It just requires that we wake up to what is being done to manipulate us into living inside the box and choosing to break out of it.

Take responsibility for yourself and your freedom. Otherwise, your power is forfeit as you empower those who only have their own best interests at heart.
