I LOVE!!!

The energies yesterday were really intense and crazy. I myself was on edge as I felt extra sensitive to everything going on around me, and the overall theme seemed to be that people were attempting to purge themselves of a lot of heavy energies they no longer wanted to hang onto. I was in defense mode as I shielded myself from the negativity being battered about.

This morning as I began writing in my journal, two words showed up: I LOVE. They were not the words on my conscious mind, but apparently they were the words I had picked up in my sleep time and they flowed without thinking onto the page.

I LOVE. Two little words that contain so much power! The power to connect. The power to overcome. The power to restore. The power to heal.

I LOVE. It is exactly what the world needs to weather the current storm. And I possess that power. Regardless of the ill will I was subjected to yesterday, love is still in my heart. I have the ability to BE love among the evil. The negativity has not dimmed my light.

Today is the day to LOVE like never before. Smile at that person who seems down. Speak words of encouragement. Lend a helping hand. Often, it is the little things we do every day that impact the world at large and make a difference.

BE the change. Make a difference. Dare to LOVE in a dark world. You really do have the power to bring in a new era of positive change to a dying world.

Divide And Conquer

If you want to understand how the "power elite" controls society, look no further than Baltimore. The whole scenario playing out (or what those who rule us would have you believe) is entertainment, all designed to manipulate the ways we think into certain patterns--certain "sides", if you will. In Baltimore, they are attempting to play the race game and maybe some of the socioeconomic game.

Here's how it works. The media promotes a story that creates division. In Baltimore, it is the story of how Freddie Gray, a black man, died in police custody. What comes to mind when you hear those words? Police brutality? Racial profiling? You can be sure that, regardless of truth, we can all hear bits and pieces of the story that will make us choose sides. Choosing sides is key.

In the Baltimore saga, we are judging police brutality. We are judging the death of a black man in police custody. As people begin choosing sides and violence is allowed to break out (dare I say encouraged by the mainstream media and our leaders), we also begin to see divisions in socioeconomic class as riots and looting begin. Now we have even more issues to separate us from each other.

What our leaders count on is this: fighting each other will keep us so occupied we will not see how they are steering our opinions and our very way of life. They are pretty much free to rule us as they like because we are not paying attention to them. Divide and conquer.

The power elite maintain their own power by stealing ours. That's right. They have taken your power. Every time you choose to become part of the fight (by choosing a side), you willingly give up your power.

And there are many sides to choose from!!! Race is just one. Here in the United States, we fight over abortion rights and gay marriage. We fight over politics. We fight over religion. Every time we identify with one side we are choosing our fights and allowing ourselves to be distracted.

What if we all stopped fighting for a few minutes and asked ourselves, "How can we learn to live together in spite of our differences?" What if we all decided to take responsibility for our own actions and live with integrity (instead of worrying that someone else does not live in integrity)?

Our world will never get any better if we continue to allow the power elite to rule us by encouraging us to choose sides and fight. They like the problems--they even manufacture the problems--so they can continue to rule.

Decide today it is up to you to make the difference. The truth is, it IS up to you. BE the change!!!

The Importance of Connection To the Divine

I have recently had a very dear friend become upset with me because he sees me as having "changed my tune" about exposing evil. Honestly, the original incident was far enough back that I don't remember all the details. I do believe he came to me with questions trying to resolve some things about his job that didn't resonate with his heart. Because of all my recent posts on Facebook exposing darkness to the light, he has now decided it have done an about face from how I had responded to that earlier inquiry. Maybe I have changed my tune. Like I said, I only vaguely recall the topic in the first place.

There is nothing wrong with sharing a problem with a friend and discussing your concerns. Often it helps to talk things out and get them off your chest. The thing is, sometimes we allow what others say to effect how we think and believe about the topic at hand. This is where we all make mistakes, and yet we do it all the time. We look for answers outside ourselves.

If there is one thing I know, it is that listening to the advice of another person can be full of peril. The advice may be faulty. Your interpretation of what the other person is saying may or may not be accurate. My point here is, you are not asking for answers from the One that speaks to your heart. You are looking for answers outside yourself.

If you want the real deal answers, you have got to inquire within!!! The only way to get accurate information is to develop your own personal relationship to the Divine and ask and listen from that place. All other information is questionable!!! I only have to look at the road I traveled with Jeff Lundgren and company to see where listening to the advice of another can lead you!!!

I am human. As such, I do not have all the answers!!! I make mistakes!!! If you have read anything I have written in this blog I am glad to be acknowledged, but my ultimate goal is not to become a guru or spiritual adviser. My goal is to help you remember the importance of having your own one-one-one connection to God/Source/Creator/Universal Intelligence!!!

The best answers are waiting for you within your own heart. Inquire there first. Take time to listen to the answers. You will find your life will become much more smooth and free flowing when you allow your connection to the Divine to take precedence in your life.

Your Daily Practice

Perhaps one of the hardest parts of consciously connecting is making the time to do it. Often we have so much going on in our daily lives that if we don't set a little time aside to go within and connect to our hearts we forget to do it. The following tips are those I use to remain focused so that I am consciously making an effort to connect at least once every day.

  1. Set aside the same time every day. I am more of a morning person, so I find it is best for me to use the morning for my daily meditation time. Time of day is really not important. Perhaps your lunch hour works, or maybe it is easiest before bedtime. What is most important is that you take the same time every day. After a while, you will find you don't even have to think about doing it. It becomes a natural part of your day.
  2. Have a focal point. I personally like to light a candle (usually a tealight in my favorite selenite crystal tealight holder) and turn on soft, peaceful music. This is another cue my body uses to stop and think, "It is time to consciously connect." My mind will still wander some, but having a focal point can interrupt the wandering process and bring me back into focus. You might look at an inspirational picture, hold a coin or worry stone, or even just sit in the same chair in a quiet corner to help you remember you are taking the time to connect.
  3. Don't judge your daily practice. Sometimes nothing big happens. My mind will wander and I will feel like my time is being wasted as I have so many other things I need to do. Some days are just like that. The point here is to not let yourself think nothing is happening. You are doing something for yourself! Allow yourself to acknowledge you are important and deserve this time set aside for you!!!
We all have ups and downs in our daily lives. Even those of us who usually feel connected have those days when we feel we aren't. Understand those days come and go. What makes the difference is allowing yourself the time and space every day to connect to the wisdom and truth of your own heart. By making this a part of your daily routine, you will find yourself able to remember to ask your heart when questions and doubts come up during other times of the day.

Make the effort to connect daily! You are worth it!!!

What Speaks To Your Heart?

I've spent a great deal of time over the past couple of years trying to figure out what my passions are and what I want to do with my life. You think that would be an easy task, but no it isn't. At least it hasn't come easy to me.

We live in a world of distractions. The time of day not spent in school or work is occupied by extracurricular activities, church, television, movies, etc. Even our phones pull us back into the world by making us respond to all the many people in our lives.

What if you were able to become quiet enough to hear the voice in your own heart? What if you could hear that voice clearly, with nothing around to distract you and divide your attention? How would that make your life different? Would that make your life better?

Music is something that speaks to my heart. The right music calms my soul and helps me connect to the Divine. It can be extremely easy for me to lose myself in the song and allow my mind to relax enough to let go of all its holds on the physical world.

Letting go of the physical world is key to hearing what your heart guidance tells you. When you are focused on the physical world (and all its distractions), your mind has a firm hold of you. You are exposed to what your five physical senses pick up (sight, sound, taste, touch, smell) coupled with the information you have learned from this lifetime. These things are all distractions that take your focus off your heart.

Finding a simple activity you enjoy enough to lose yourself in can help you bring yourself back into this heart consciousness. Buy yourself some cheap paints and begin painting, or even crayons and paper. Sing silly or meaningful songs. Take a walk in the woods or on the beach. Listen to the call of the birds. Dance. Laugh. Play. Allow yourself the time to do those things that give you joy.

By allowing yourself even a little time to just let go and BE, you will find yourself stepping out of the "must-do" mindset, making it much easier to step into flow. Flow is the place where your heart is guiding you.

What is it that speaks to your heart? Do that!!!

Overcoming the Dark Magic and Holding the Light

The past few days have been extremely interesting for me. I have felt my dark side come to the surface more often than usual. I know this because I am typically much more loving and compassionate with cranky people. The past few days all I feel like doing is punching them. I'm also still obsessed with that customer that attacked me the other day, which means there is more I need to become aware of.

Being connected/intuitive is a discovery process. I often feel like a detective as I look at clues and begin to ask questions about them. The first, most obvious question is why am I still dwelling on this bad incident? I asked for some visionary help. What I saw in my mind's eye was that customer transforming into a hideous demonic blob (sort of like Jabba the Hutt from Star Wars but black) and seeking me out. Intriguing because I don't attract those sorts of entities very often. Why now?

I've also realized I have been thinking a lot about a little girl I worked with years ago in the group home that helped emotionally disturbed children. This particular child had been ritualistically (satanic) abused. This is probably some of the most insidious abuse you can endure because it is so hidden in the shadows. Her father's family were intergenerational satanists who looked like upstanding citizens from the outside. The only reason we knew them to be satanists was because of the things this little girl talked about. Ceremonies where she was tied up and covered with spiders. Symbolism is also very prominent. She talked about these family members putting a ladder up to her window and stealing her out of it (instead of just using the door) to take her to their ceremonies. One of my coworkers at the time attended a training on rituals they use and learned that many of the things this little girl described where all part of their magic practices.

Still, why am I obsessing about these things now? As I asked this question, I was reminded about some articles I have read within the past few days about what I would call satanic high holy days. This period usually occurs somewhere around mid April and lasts until the beginning of May. Interesting (and awful) things have "coincidentally" occurred during this time frame, usually toward the beginning of that time, including Waco, the Oklahoma City bombing, the Columbine High School Massacre, and even the Boston Marathon bombing. It is strange that so many incidents that damage the collective psyche have occurred around this time of year.

Why am I explaining all this dark stuff? Because I believe it is more important than ever to hold the light!!! The only way to overcome/balance out the darkness it to shine your light with intention!!! If there are dark ones out there trying to use their magic practices to keep darkness covering the planet (and I honestly believe there are), we need to use our time to counteract what they are doing by embracing that light part of ourselves and projecting it out into consciousness.

Love your fellow man!!! Encourage him/her!!! Feed the hungry!!! Shelter the homeless!!! Heal the sick and wounded!!! Pick up litter!!! Save an animal!!! Plant a tree!!! Play!!! Laugh!!! Find the goodness and light in your own heart and use it to counteract all the negativity and hatred in the world!!! BE the light as never before!!!

We can usher in a whole new way of life if we are able to focus our energies on this love and light!!! Be conscious!!! Be aware!!!

Laughter Is Good For the Soul!!!

I may be delusional but...
Don't forget to SMILE!!!

It's Always Darkest Before the Dawn

Yesterday was a very strange day. The energies were very dark. People were touchy and cranky for no apparent reason, and I wasn't the only one who noticed. I believe most of us felt it (even if most of us are grown up enough to keep it in check). I even had one particularly aggressive customer attack me verbally for no reason except she either wanted to get something for nothing or I approached her at a time she was getting ready to steal and I foiled her.

As I look back on this particular "customer", I can feel my emotions and body telling me there is more information here that I need to pay attention to. I have worked at this particular store for well over four years now, and I can count on one hand the number of times I have had to deal with that level of crazy. (Being empathic really does smooth things over 99% of the time.)

There were quite a few red flags. She talked a lot more than necessary (like she was hiding something or trying to distract). When I didn't follow her lead, she became really belligerent and asked immediately to speak to a manager (at that point it was my pleasure to have someone else who could monitor this one).  After the transaction was completed, I began to put her merchandise in a medium sized bag (which was amply large for her purchase) and she requested a bigger bag (which is actually a huge red flag) and put the receipt in her wallet. What keeps coming up about this incident is that she was reacting like a caged animal--caught and desperately trying to claw herself out of the situation.

I believe what happened to me yesterday in the micro is also happening to the world in the macro. The dark powers that be are now quickly losing power, but they are not giving up without a fight. They are still hiding in their deceptions, still clinging to the illusion of their infallibility and invincibility. However, little by little, more and more people are waking up. They may still be able to hide for a short time, but their usual tricks are no longer working as well as they once did.

There will be fighting as the animals are backed into their cages. There will be some injuries as those nearest the cage will find themselves feeling the sharpness of the claws. It may even look like that animals are ready to break free and wreak havoc on the population at large, but this is only an illusion. The animals' powers are largely already gone. It is now just a matter of closing and locking the cage.

Things always look the darkest just before the light breaks through. Hold on just a little longer. The light is on its way.

Laughter Is Good For the Soul!!!

I watched this a few years back. Since then it has been copied, but never with so much flair or finesse as these guys!!!

The Entities We Carry Around

Did you know you are probably carrying around parasites as you sit and read this? I'm not talking about the normal bacteria or "worms" we think about when the term parasite comes up (although I'm beginning to wonder about their possible connection to the topic at hand). I'm talking about the type described in the Bible where Jesus casts out demons and heals people. While I don't believe the entities we carry around are likely to make us go insane (and totally out of control), I do believe they give us problems we don't need to deal with.

I know people who have been cleansed of such things within religious settings. A friend of mine once described going to a Christian church service where the minister literally began "pulling" at the air around his head and he felt things coming out of him! A good friend of mine grew up in Thailand, and she remembers her stepfather, a local medicine man, being asked to pull demons out of people in the village, which often produced interesting and amazing results.

I myself attended some in depth Access Consciousness classes a few years back and went through a process to identify and pull out such entities in order to "get clear". It was an intriguing process, although I have to confess some of them have probably entered back in. When you are used to the voices in your head, being clear of them can sometimes feel lonesome and empty.

The thing is, these entities are not you. They can distract you, annoy you, make you feel worthless, depress you and even destroy you if you allow them space. They do not have your best interests at heart. They are using you to survive.

Why do I share this now? They can keep you occupied enough it is difficult to connect to the divine. Some of the more powerful entities have this as a goal because they understand that true connection would put them in danger of being kicked out.

One thing we can all do to keep from carrying around more of these entities, is to take care of ourselves. Many of the things we do to keep us physically healthy also protect our spiritual selves. Drinking water (filtered and pure if you can access it) helps. Eating quality foods also helps. Staying away from cigarettes, drugs (both illegal and prescribed), and even sex with a heavily infested person will help keep you safer. Such activities can open holes in your spiritual aura, and that is where entities get through.

Also be aware that if you carry around powerful entities they will often encourage more of those behaviors that weaken your system. For example, if you have had drug problems in the past and are trying to get sober, these entities will try to pull you back into the drug in order to keep you from expelling them. Ask the divine for help. You have angels who are tasked with helping and protecting you. They will bring answers to you and guide you if you ask for it.

We are all fighting inner battles of one sort or another. Know that some of these battles are not just you fighting yourself. Inner healing can come. You just need to understand the source of the problem and take measures to correct it.

Know that I love you and will help if I can!

Laughter Is Good For the Soul!!!

Just a little word play to brighten your day!!!
Don't forget to SMILE!!!

The Power of Words

I've always been intrigued by words. In my own life, I know the many times words have been used to bring me down, put me in my "place", injure me. I remember many of the times words were used to lift me up, envision more, heal me. I have used words to help a situation. Sometimes my words have led to more chaos and destruction. Words hold great power.

I was always fascinated by certain phrases in the Bible regarding the power of words. For example, Genesis begins with God speaking the earth into existence. "And God said, 'Let there be light.' and there was light." He continues to speak and various elements appear. In the book of John in the New Testament, it begins with the phrase, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." Christians commonly use this to refer to Jesus as the Word. Clearly, words hold great power.

What is it about words that contain so much power? Words are sounds, and sounds are frequencies! Everything in our world is expressed as frequency. Frequency takes on form. Consequently, sound (and words) do have great power!!!

As lightworkers, it is important to control this power. I know there are times when I said something in anger, not thinking about potential consequences, and negative things resulted. There are times when I consciously say things that I know will empower people in their gifts, and these same people are able to use that ability in even more expansive ways.
We all have so much more power than we give ourselves credit for! Understand that by harnessing the power of our words, we can expand our ability to create change in the world. Whether that expansion is creative or destructive depends on how we express our own unique frequencies.

Choose your words carefully.

Of Coincidence and Random Thought

Did you know your coffee pot talks to you? It doesn't talk to you in words, necessarily, but it does communicate. If you're addicted to coffee (like I am), you pretty much never miss its call to you in the mornings. However, some of the things it says are not necessarily everyday occurrences.

Have you ever been drawn to the coffee pot--almost as if something is wrong? You can't figure out why you are thinking about a stupid old coffee pot, yet there it is, on your mind? Maybe you need to go get some more coffee soon, but you remember there was still enough coffee left to make your daily dose in the morning. You put off going to the store.

The next morning, you get up and go to your coffee maker, only to discover your spouse or other household member (who usually doesn't drink coffee) must have made a pot while you were gone and there is now not enough left to make anything more than colored water!

Believe it or not, this really is your coffee pot talking to you (and the coffee container telling you it was empty). It (as part of this vast and infinite universe) was trying to tell you all is not right with your world. And you weren't paying attention. Again!

Coincidence, you say? In my experience, there is no such thing as coincidence. We are drawn to the information we need to help us get along in our daily lives. It may be a little thing or a big thing, but most of our random thoughts are not really random at all. They have meaning and purpose if we know how to interpret them!

This is why it is important to pay attention to the little things--especially if your mind seems drawn to them over and over again. Something in the universe is trying to get your attention.

Becoming conscious is a matter of becoming aware of the signals that go on all around us every day. Granted, some information will impact us more than other information in our daily lives, but if it comes into your awareness at all there is probably something there that will effect you or someone close to you. Pay attention!

The information we attribute to coincidence or random thought is really there to make your life easier. Learn to pay attention, and your days will become much smoother and free-flowing!

Many Selves

Did you know you have many selves? I'm not speaking past lives in this one either (although that also applies). This is sort of a mind-blowing topic, but I feel the need to address this today to some degree.

In order to understand the concept, you have to understand a few basics on time. As humans in this place, we are trapped in time. We see time as linear, with a past, present and future, and time seems to progress along a pre-determined path. The thing is, time is actually not pre-determined at all. Every decision we make, whether it be choosing what to eat for breakfast or choosing to leave the place we live to move to the other side of the planet, actually sets us on a new course or, as I like to think about it, a new timeline. Even little choices we make can impact the entire course of our lives in profound ways. Pretty deep, and pretty mind-blowing if you think about it for a while. The number of various selves are as vast and infinite as the day-to-day decisions you make.

You can look at various timelines (and lives) where you are in other realities and gain valuable information from them that you can use in this lifetime and this timeline! For example, you can talk to another self who is more financially successful than you and find out what that "you" did to gain that success. Chances are, that other self made a different decision (or decisions) than the ones you have made, which led to a totally different outcome in their life and timeline.

You exist as other selves as well. These selves are not limited to time (or even space) but exist in other dimensions. This is a concept I don't understand as well as I understand the concept of time. These selves function at whole other mind-blowing levels. What I am most familiar with is what I like to call the "higher self". This is the self that lives at the level of Oneness on a continual basis. This is the one that understands why we are living all these different stories. This is the self that sees all, knows all and understands all (and does not judge).

I believe it is these "higher selves" that I have personally accessed when I talk to them before life or after death. Understand that there are other spirits and entities we can access in this world and this timeline that are also trapped in this timeline. These are the ones you may have to protect yourself from.

Why am I sharing this with you now? I believe it is important for you to know you have other resources available that you can access. The more information we have, the better decisions we can make.

Your life can be more abundant and blessed with access to the wisdom and information contained within these various "selves".

Letting Go Of Your Past: Candle Exercise

This morning as I ask the Divine what I can offer today, I feel the weight of the burdens we all carry. Mistakes we've made, low self-esteem, problems we can't seem to resolve, etc. are slow energies that can keep us from acting upon and doing those things we have been called to do. This morning I want to offer up one technique to help you let go of those things from your past that have been holding you back.

I'm going to call this the Candle Exercise. Understand that if you don't have access to a candle and matches you can visualize the process. As always, intention is key!!!

During time you have dedicated to quiet meditation, find a candle and set it in front of you. Something small, like a tealight candle, or a very small candle in a holder--anything that doesn't take a super long time to burn--works well.

As you sit there, thank the candle for its willingness to help you get rid of the negative energies from your past. Begin to think about all those incidents from your past that make you feel bad--feelings you've felt, unkind words you've said, mistakes you've made (basically anything that continues to drag you down with regret, hurt, confusion, etc.), and project those feelings/energies into the candle.

Light the candle. As the candle burns, allow all those negative energies to dissipate into the field. Most importantly, feel those slow-moving energies burn off with the candle, spreading out into the atmosphere where they will cause no more harm.

This is an extremely easy process, but it can take a while depending on how quickly you are able to let those energies go. If you haven't spent much time meditating or consciously letting go of past hurts, this may take a while. Allow yourself the time to feel those burdens slipping away until you begin to feel much lighter and not so bogged down.

Learn to free yourself from the burdens of your past. As the negativity decreases, you will find the space to accept new energies of action and creation into your life!!!

Spiritual Mentors

Almost nineteen years ago, I was in a very bad place mentally, emotionally and spiritually. My first marriage was ending, and its very last breath had literally consumed all the remaining bits of my energy. I felt empty, like everything in me had been sucked dry leaving a vacuum that could not be refilled. I didn't want to live anymore.

My husband had just told me he wanted to be separated, and I was ready to leave this world. He and the kids were sitting in the living room watching TV. I slipped out very quietly and locked myself in the bedroom. Knowing where the handgun was hidden, I got it out and held it in my hands. I knew where the safety was--knew it would be easy to pull the trigger and exit this life. I sat on the floor of the bedroom with my back against the door holding my own life in my hands.

Something alerted my husband to what I was doing. He realized I had the gun. He tried to get in the locked room. When he understood I was sitting against the door, he began talking to me. I don't remember anything he said except the one thing that made me change my mind: your kids need you. In that instant, I knew it wasn't time to leave this life. I unlocked the door and allowed him to take the gun from my hands.

A number of years later, I was reading the book "The Healing Code" by Alex Lloyd and Ben Johnson. The book details an energetic healing technique that is akin to Reiki, although it manifests in slightly different form. I began using the technique described in the book to work on myself. After repeating this process several times, I began to remember this attempted suicide, which I had long buried in my subconscious because it was just too painful for my mind to deal with. Each time I did the Healing Code process, the incident became more clear.

Then something amazing happened. I was no longer sitting on the floor with the gun in my hands, but instead was standing in the opposite corner of the room looking at myself. I noticed my guardian angels were in the room with me, standing a bit to the side as I contemplated taking my life. What truly amazed me though was who was standing directly beside me: Jesus. At the very lowest moment of my life, Jesus was the one holding my hand.

Even though my understanding of who Jesus is has changed over time, I appreciate who he is: teacher, mentor, friend. He has the ability to transcend time and space (as we all do), and he loved me enough to stand with me when I was hurting and feeling lost and alone.

I believe we all have spiritual mentors who support us along the way. They can be famous spiritual teachers like Jesus, Mohammed, or the Buddha. They can be people we have known in this life or in past ones. If you think back on your life and remember yourself talking to certain individuals over and over again (in your imagination or even seeing them and holding the actual conversation), this is probably one of your spiritual mentors.

We are all connected to Source and as such we have the power to call on the wisdom and inspiration of others in order to meet the challenges we face. Take comfort in the fact you are not alone. Trust there is always a spiritual mentor available to help you, whether you remember to ask for the help or not.

Spiritual mentors are here to assist us. Make use of these precious resources. Follow the guidance of your heart in such matters. It knows what to do.

Overcoming the Fear Mindset

It has taken me almost fifty years to figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up. Yes, I went through all the motions. Went to college. Got married. Got a job in my career field. Had kids. Became a stay-at-home-mom. Got divorced. Went into round two of getting a job (more or less to pay the bills so I could afford to raise my kids my way). It wasn't until my kids were almost raised that I really began to focus on what I wanted to do for me--what would truly make me happy. Fortunately, I have been assisted by my partner in crime, hubby #2, who has allowed me to pursue my dreams (even when they aren't making money).

I have wanted to be a writer since I was twelve years old. When I was in high school, I began volunteering my time working with children who had been neglected and abused. I found I enjoyed showing them love and kindness because of the healing effects it had on both them and myself. My experiences at church camp taught me to appreciate my connection to the Divine, thus sealing my desire to help people attain their own personal connection. Until recently, all these passions seemed too dissimilar to find them all in one convenient "job". Then I began working with a life coach, and things began to fall into place as I focused in on how I wanted to use my gifts to pull those desires together.

In the past, fear has often stopped me from working towards my goals. The fear of potential fame is a big one. I look at the lives of those who are already famous and feel sorry for those people who are hounded by the press and fans. Even the thought of allowing that possibility into my life makes me anxious.

Another fear that has stopped me from playing big is my fear of becoming arrogant. I do not like to be around arrogant people. I believe they are weak as they attempt to inflate their own importance by diminishing the importance of others. I have seen people acquire arrogance as they grew in fame or became supposed "experts" in their chosen fields. It can be difficult to not think yourself more worthy than others when you constantly hear about how "wonderful" you are. It is a weak state to be in and one that makes you vulnerable to attack.

Willingness to step out in faith and play big requires you to take risks. I have spent a great deal of time making myself small and unseen because of experiences I remember from past lives where I allowed myself to play big.

At any rate, I made the decision and set the intention to use my gifts to try to heal and free the people of this earth. I started this blog, using my name, to (hopefully) ask the questions that will help others think about new ways of doing things in order to promote positive change. While I still have a long way to my ultimate readership goals, things have actually progressed much more quickly than I would have thought.

The thing that has helped me the most is actually meditating and praying each and every day. I make time to get into my heart and intentionally connect to all that IS. I ask what I can do to help others as I use the gifts I have been given to the best of my abilities. This is how I am following my heart.

Overcoming fear is focusing on love and living through that. The fear will still come back from time to time, but the more you focus on that love relationship you have with the Divine, the more likely your fears will stay in the background, allowing you to play big and create a much better world.

Bruce Lipton On Living In Love Vs Fear

This clip explains, from a scientific viewpoint, what happens to our bodies when we are in a state of love vs a state of fear. Bruce Lipton makes it very clear and understandable why we have a difficult time getting beyond a fear state in our lives today.
It is time to beginning healing our planet of the traumas of life so we can once again live in a state of growth and abundance!!!

It is time to begin asking new questions about traumas and healing!!! Healing Trauma Energy

Healing Trauma Energy

Years ago, I got a BA in psychology, convinced I wanted to be a professional counselor helping people cope with their problems. My ideals began to change very quickly when I went to work at a group home with emotionally disturbed children. I realized lasting change was hard to come by as people struggle to pick up the pieces after life has traumatized them in some way. Progress was slow at best, and I knew trying to lead a "normal" life would be difficult.

As the years passed, it dawned on me that traumas occur in an instant, changing the ways a person functions in literally seconds. My question became, if traumas occur in an instant, why can't they be overcome in an instant as well?

Answers do not come easy, nor does one size fit all. I do believe the key to healing trauma is to focus on the energies surrounding how the trauma came to exist in the first place. In a nutshell, you need to find a way to unblock the trauma energy the person carries with them.

Trauma energy literally becomes encoded in our cells. Trauma causes a complex reaction between neurotransmitters and endorphins, which can turn nerve switches on or off and become, in effect, stuck that way. This is why it is difficult to address them just by "talking things out."

I believe there are quite a few techniques that address energy issues that have great promise. Reiki healings come to mind, as do techniques that focus on the body's energy/meridian systems like acupuncture and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique). There are even techniques that incorporate elements of counseling such as past life regression and Psych-K. I believe healing modalities are limited only by the limitations in your connection to Source.

In this time of great change when many people have been impacted by trauma energies, it is important for all of us to connect into our hearts and ask the Divine how we can best work with others. The better connected we are, the better the answers we will receive.

We can heal the traumas that have been inflicted on us. It is a matter of assessing where our energies have become blocked and finding ways to help those energies flow once again.

It's All About Balance!!!

One of my favorite Martin Luther King Jr. quotes goes like this:
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
To me, he is making an extremely illuminating point. If you are trying to eradicate or lessen an energy, bringing in more of that same energy will only result in more of that same energy.

While I do believe there is an excessive amount of evil in the world right now, bringing in a fighting energy will not decrease it. Fighting is a destructive energy. Evil is also destructive. This is not the time to bring in more destruction. With all the war, sickness, poverty, etc. there is way too much destruction already.

The above quote brings it all into focus for me. We need to bring in massive amounts of brilliant, constructive energies to counteract or balance the negative, destructive energies on the planet today!

Plant a tree. Feed the hungry. Give a hug and a listening ear to a lonely person. Smile at someone who is having a bad day. Laugh. Pick up trash at the park. Teach a child to blow bubbles or ride a bike. Love your fellow human.

When it comes right down to it, it is the little things we do every day that make a difference. It's those little things that come from the energy of BEing--the energy of who we are--that change the world. It may not look like much, but think about this: if everyone focused on the sweet and loving things we can do in the everyday there would be that much more love and light in the world.

Changing the world is not about fighting the "good" fight. Fighting only brings about more destruction. In order to repair the damage, we need to bring in energies that are equal and opposite. Love. Joy. Peace. Hope.

We have the power to change the world simply by BEing these energies. BE the solution. BE the balance.

Laughter Is Good For the Soul!!!

This one is another compilation video of funny game show moments!!! Totally had me rolling with laughter!!! Enjoy!!!

Recognizing Evil

I used to have a Pollyanna outlook on life. Everything was good, and you could find some good in everyone. While I still try to find the good in people, I am less likely to be fooled by the darkness. My adventure down the rabbit hole has changed me.

True evil tends to be insidious. It waits in the shadows and allows goodness to take overt control. Then, when your trust has been granted and your guard is down, evil takes over. Generally by the time most of us figure it out, we too are sucked in to the whirlpool and are drowned or almost drowned.

Years ago when I was still in my late teens and early 20's, I allowed myself to get sucked into a cult. I say allowed myself because it is true. From the first moment I met Jeffrey Lundgren, I did not like him. There was something cold and hard about him that gave me the willies, and there was a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach that warned me to stay away. I managed to stay away for the first few weeks of my summer job as a tour guide at the Kirtland Temple. Then one day, Jeff found me alone in the visitor's center and used the opportunity to gain my trust. He came to me and said, "I know we don't see eye to eye on a lot of things, but I hope that doesn't stop us from having a good working relationship." It was at that moment my Pollyanna mind took over. I thought, "Maybe I have misjudged him. Maybe I should be a little more open to who Jeff is."

That was all it took for me to allow myself to open the door to evil. While my story ended much better than most in the group, the whole experience did teach me something. I understood how important it was to directly connect to God myself instead of looking to other people for answers. Others would potentially lie to me and abuse me. God never would, and he would give me the information I truly needed to know--even if I didn't understand it at the time.

So how do we recognize evil if it stays in the shadows? By being conscious and aware, and that means being connected to the Divine through the connection within your own heart. The heart connection has access to all information where the brain does not. It was my brain that reasoned, "How could anyone who professes to want to have a good working relationship not really be good at heart?" I allowed the bad vibes I got through my heart connection to be overshadowed by something my mind told me was a good thing!

In order to recognize evil when it comes your way, stay in your heart and listen to it when it gives you a feeling or other information that is out of the ordinary. Understand that the stronger the feeling you have about someone or something, the more likely it is that the danger is bigger. Most people you encounter through your heart space will not give you big, bad feelings. This is because most people are just like you--not perfect but at least trying to lead a good life.

One thing you can consciously do is ask questions about new people and new situations. When you encounter a new person you might ask the universe, "What do I need to know about this person? What do I need to pay attention to?" Asking questions when you are in your heart space will give you answers. If unexpected information comes, whether good or bad, do yourself a favor and listen to it!!! That is definitely the Divine speaking to you. Seemingly random information does not just come of its own accord. If you find yourself thinking, "Where did that thought come from?" That is exactly the sort of information you need to pay attention to!!!

Recognizing true evil is not an easy thing to do, but it gets easier the more you encounter it and listen to the information your heart gives you. It is your heart that will keep you safe and help you navigate the treacherous waters we all encounter from time to time in life.

Continue to be conscious, be aware and ask questions. It may just save you from a world of pain and misery.

Ignoring Problems Will Not Make Them Go Away!!!

I have a lot of friends who believe you have to focus on what you want (instead of what you don't want) if you want to make good things happen in your life. While I believe this Law of Attraction principle, I also believe those who focus purely on the "good" are also missing something. Fact of the matter is, ignoring problems does not make them go away.

"Oh! But if you focus on what is wrong with something you'll get more of what's wrong!" Yes. If you spend all your time dwelling on the problem it will probably continue. How then can we get beyond the problem and into the love and light portion of the program? We need to recognize the problem and then ask what we can do to solve the problem! The key is to focus on the solution!!!

Asking questions is one of the best tools we have for overcoming obstacles. The question is what enables us to see new perspectives. What is the problem? Why is it a problem? Is there a way around it? Can we use this problem as a stepping stone to better places? What other ways are there to look at this problem? As you ask questions with an open heart, you begin to access new information. Solutions become available to those who ask for them!!!

Problems are actually a huge part of the learning and growth process. They challenge us to think in new ways. They force us to think outside the comfort of our well-worn boxes. If you don't have problems, you probably aren't growing much either.

Problems are a part of life, whether you choose to see them or not. Recognizing a problem will help you if you allow it to be used as a jumping off point to new adventures. The key is to focus on potential solutions. That way, you are in a positive, creation mode, which will enable you to get closer to those things you actually do want.

You can both recognize a problem while working to fix it all at the same time!!! It's the best way I know of to create a better world!!!

Laughter Is Good For the Soul!!!

Just a little zombie apocalypse humor to brighten your day!!!

Bring On the Apocalypse!!!

We have been taught to fear the apocalypse. Death. Chaos. Destruction. Judgement. It's enough to bring on the nightmares (and change many people into God-fearing hypocrites). Recently, it has been brought to my attention that we have it all wrong!

A quick look at a dictionary definition will display the fear-based definition for apocalypse. Webster's defines it as "a great disaster; a sudden and very bad event which causes fear, loss or destruction." Is it any wonder the word has become a catalyst for fear-based Christians and the dark imaginations of Hollywood writers?

The interesting thing is, if you do a little deeper search, you will find out something very intriguing about the word apocalypse. The definition has been changed over time!!! If you go back to the Greek origins of the word, something amazing happens. Apo means "un". The root word calypse comes from the Greek word kaluptein, which means to cover!!! In other words, the original meaning for the word apocalypse was to un-cover!!! To reveal!!! Sort of takes the fear away, doesn't it?

The prophets have predicted the coming apocalypse for hundreds if not thousands of years. In our minds we hesitate to bring it on because of our fear-based understanding. We choose to accept the status quo rather than explore how things could change for the better because we fear the potential for something worse!!!

What if we have been taught to fear the coming apocalypse because it means the end of power for those who rule from the darkness? What if apocalypse truly means a revealing of truth?

For all our lives we have been taught to fear the apocalypse. In once sense, the definition we have been given is true. It should be feared by all those who have an interest in maintaining the lies and the secrecy to maintain their hold on power.

It is time to let their lies be laid to rest. We're ready to for the light of truth! Bring on the Apocalypse!!!

The Struggle Is NOT Real!!!

Jews and Christians vs. Muslims. Black vs white. Gay vs. straight. Democrats vs Republicans. Understand this: the fights have all been constructed for their entertainment value. The struggle is not real!!!

Of course it's real!!! What kind of stupid do you think I am? (I can hear your mind screaming at me!) People are being killed over religious beliefs! Over race! Homosexuality is a sin because the Bible says so! Democrats are baby killers who believe in handing out benefits to people who won't work while Republicans are homophobic bigots who want to give all our power and resources to big corporations! Etc. Etc. Ad nauseam!!!

I repeat: the struggle is not real!!!

While you are standing on your side trying to justify why you are standing for truth, the people with the real power are making decisions that effect you without you even being aware of it!!! The issues we fight over are distractions so We the People can be controlled!!!

Are there times when you hear the "facts" of an issue and something doesn't make sense? Are there times when 2+2 does not equal 4 and you are left scratching your head? Newsflash: This is your intuition warning you that something is not right!!! Deep down we all understand these things at the unconscious level--at the level of our higher selves. This is why I want people to understand the importance of thinking at the level of their hearts instead of the level of their heads!

Part of the problem with thinking through the brain is that it does not have access to all information (like the heart does). Consequently, it is easy to be fooled into believing untruths when you think with your head.

Take the time to get into your heart in a state of connection to Oneness. (You can click here to learn one technique to do so if you're unsure of how.) Ask the Divine to reveal truth to you!!! Understand your brain has been led down a false path of beliefs that all serve to make you fight each other!!!

The heart helps you understand that we are all part of one glorious whole--that what effects one effects us all. When you accept the struggle, it is indeed yours. Use your heart to look beyond the differences to the beauty of each soul and stop fighting yourself. The life you save may be your own.

How Corporations Rule the World

I have a good friend who has an interesting personal history. She grew up in Chile. When she was young and married in 1973, when there was a political coup involving the military. The people had managed to elect a socialist president, Allende, who wanted to take back the country's resources for the benefit of  the country and its people. It was then the CIA came in and destabilized the country. They created riots and chaos, which gave them an excuse to use the military to take over. My friend told me they could all see what was happening, but besides being activists they could do nothing to stop it. Her husband was eventually put into prison for his activism. Upon his release, they managed to flee to Spain and relative safety.

The United States has done this all over the world in various countries in order to help multinational corporations maintain control of the world's resources (at the expense of the world's people). The following video gives specifics as to how the whole process works.
If you are not aware of this situation, please watch with an open mind. Ask your heart to verify what is true.

Ignoring problems does not make them go away. Understand what is actually happening, and then set the intention to focus on ways we can solve the problems.

BE the change you wish to see in the world!!!

Using Emotional Triggers To Fix What Ails You

Something happens, and an emotion comes raging to the surface. Fear. Sadness. Anger. Depression. Jealousy. Pain. Irritation. The feelings are intense and your body reacts accordingly. Many times you have reacted on impulse to such emotions without thinking about potential consequences. What is going on and how can you deal with these feelings in constructive ways?

Emotions are your body's way of trying to get you to pay attention to information your intuitive self is trying to bring into consciousness. In other words, strong feelings indicate there is something you need to understand. I personally like to call them trigger points, because they are so strong they trigger a response (whether controlled or not).

Over the years, I have learned to pay attention to these trigger points. When strong emotion is triggered, I begin to look at the situation and ask questions. The first thing I usually ask the Universe is "What is this emotion trying to tell me?" Other questions are things like, "What specific emotion is coming up?" and "What is it about this situation that upsets me?" The right questions will help you focus in on what is bothering you.

Sometimes the fix is relatively simple. For example, some people consistently rub me the wrong way. When I ask the question, "What about this situation is bothering me?" I usually discover the other person is being hypocritical or I don't like the fact this person is forcing his/her beliefs on myself or others. As I begin to realize I don't have to accept the person's actions and allow them to change how I believe and behave, many times these emotions will be resolved and the emotion no longer comes up.

At other times, the information that is trying to surface is much more complex. For example, a coworker once did something that triggered a rage so bad in me I overreacted in the extreme--cutting her totally out of my life as though she did not exist. When I finally calmed down, I began to ask questions. "Why was my reaction to this coworker so extreme?" When I asked that question, I had a flashback to another lifetime. In that past lifetime, she had taken advantage of me so badly that I became a prisoner. My body was reacting to her same energy in this lifetime, and I knew I was not going to allow her to take advantage of me anymore. Interestingly enough, once I recognized the past life connection, the emotion totally went away and I never had a problem with it again. I just knew I needed to be up front with this coworker and tell her "No" when she wanted me to do something special for her.

Your body is always connected and aware of things your conscious is not. Listen to it when it speaks to  you through your emotions. You may just discover a whole new world of information that will not only change your life but also fix up every problem that ails you!!!

Exploring Past Lives

Dr. Brian Weiss has done some amazing work on reincarnation. This YouTube clip was put out by him and the Omega Institute and has helped me access several memories from some of my past lives. Explore for yourself and let me know what you think!!!

Past Lives

When I was a fairly young child (7 or 8 perhaps), I remember the topic of reincarnation coming up. I didn't even question it at that time. I just believed it was real. It wasn't until much later, when society and religion had much more time to work on me, that I began to doubt its validity. The thing is, I believe children can be much more insightful than adults on such topics as they have less time to become jaded by the teachings of the world. At almost 50 years old, I believe once again.

I didn't want to believe it for a long time. There is so much misery in this world, I had to ask myself why I would intentionally come back to a place where I was constantly bombarded by unpleasantries. I started down this path again because of a simple question I asked. (Be careful of the questions you ask! They just may lead you down very unexpected paths!!!)

I was having problems with a good friend. I happened to ask why we butted heads so much even though we have a lot in common and usually got along well together. All of a sudden, I had this vision of an ancient lifetime. I saw myself as the lead high priestess in a temple. My friend was the top general of an army who conquered my people. We ended up falling in love in that lifetime, yet there was always constant conflict between us as I did not want to commit to a public relationship with him because I felt like I was betraying my people. It's been something of a power struggle ever since. Remembering this has helped me keep my present day relationship with him in perspective.

The thing about questions and knowledge, once you go down a certain path there is usually no going back. Since that first vision, I have been able to remember bits and pieces of other lifetimes. I have also discovered a great deal more information on past lives, such as stories about very accurate recall of past lives in very young children and experts like Dr. Brian Weiss, a psychiatrist who stumbled upon the past lives of his hypnotherapy clients quite by accident. (I highly recommend any of his books if you are interested in the subject.)

Why do I bring this up now? I honestly believe part of the reincarnation process involves working through and resolving negative energies. We follow each other around throughout lifetimes (this is why you feel as though you've known certain people forever even though you've just met), and we attempt to help each other out. Sometimes, remembering past lifetimes (and their problems) can help resolve issues we are having in the present day.

If this topic is resonating with you (or you find yourself screaming in denial), know you are here because you have asked the question and are coming into contact with new information. I am here to help if I can.

It is my hope that this is the lifetime we finally begin to get it right!!!

Laughter Is Good For the Soul!!!

Those darned mood swings...they start EARLY!!! LOL!!!
Don't forget to SMILE!!!

Rewriting Your Story

Life can be a very painful process. We get hurt. Sometimes the hurt is so excruciating we try to find ways to escape it. Alcohol. Drugs. Sex. The thing is, these activities may numb us but they cannot overcome where we have been or what has happened to us. We do, however, have the power to rewrite our story into something better.

Rewriting your story is all about changing your frequency, and frequency is all about feelings. In order to change your frequency, you have to change more than just your thoughts. You have to change the emotions attached to your thoughts. It's a tricky process, but workable.

Allow your imagination to be your friend. Sit back, preferably in a comfortable chair in a room by yourself to avoid distractions. Begin by asking for protection. Call on your angels and a powerful protective beam of light to shield you from any harm. Get comfortable, knowing you are in a safe place.

As you sit, picture the safe, protective beam of light not only surrounding you but enveloping you all the way through to the inside. Feel the protection, power and love of this light.

Allow this light to find all the pain you have been carrying in your body. It may be in your brain. It may be in your heart or your stomach. It may be in your big toe. We all carry our pain and negative feelings in different places and in different ways. As you allow the light to flow through your body, ask yourself where the pain is.

At every place you feel pain, allow the light to draw the pain out of your body and away from you, into the vast space where everything exists and becomes One. It cannot hurt you or anyone else from there. Picture the pain from your body draining from you until it is all gone. Then move on to the next place in your body where pain exists and allow that pain to drain from you as well. Continue until all the pain in your body is removed.

Once the pain is gone, it is important to consciously call forth positive energies that can fill the void. Focus on the light, and picture the light being drawn into all those places that were formerly filled with pain. Once you are filled back up, search for holes or weak places in your spiritual body. When you find a place that needs extra reinforcement, call upon the light to repair the damage and seal it back up.

Take as much time as you need to work on this process. Understand you may need to repeat this at frequent intervals in order to keep the change in frequency. Also know this technique is not the only one you can use to change your frequency and rewrite your story. You are limited only by the limitations of your imagination.

Allowing yourself to get rid of the pain you carry around is a sure way to change your energy. By changing your frequency, you change the path you are on and effectively rewrite your story.

Allowing For Creativity

Here in the United States, our lives are often very busy. Work. School. Appointments. Social functions. Extracurricular activities for the kids. Sometimes it seems our lives are so busy doing everything that is expected of us, we forget who we are. Taking at least a little time to be creative every day will help you avoid ruts and keep your energy free-flowing and expanding.

The key is focusing on activities you enjoy doing. Ironically, you don't even have to be good at them! Taking action is enough. You might enjoy music. Listening is good, but humming or even singing along is better. Physical action has a way of loosening up both your physical and spiritual bodies. Playing an instrument or dancing to the music would work as well!!!

Maybe you enjoy art. Buy some inexpensive watercolor paints at the store. Mold some modeling clay. Lace colorful beads into jewelry you would like to wear. Even the simple act of coloring in a coloring book can help mind and body de-stress (and you can do this with your child for added impact)!!!

Plan a garden and then get outside and work the plan! Build a model car, or rebuild a real one. Put together some favorite ingredients to make up a new recipe. Make a batch of cookies for your child's class at school or to treat coworkers. Organize your closet and work to mix and match clothing elements to come up with new outfits. Knit or crochet a new hat or baby blanket. The possibilities are truly endless.

Even the most simple activity can help a stagnant mind expand in new ways. It's all about relaxing and letting your spirit express what is inside. Stress melts away when you are engaged in creative endeavors.

Allow yourself to express your creative side every day. Your life will blossom in amazing ways that may just lead to something even bigger!!!

Sensing Spirits

There are many different sorts of energies that surround us at all times. Those who are sensitive can often feel presences of people who are not in a three-dimensional form. People with this gift are commonly called mediums. Most mediums have a heightened awareness of spirits from a very young age. I can sometimes sense the presence of human spirits, but I believe my ability stems more from learning to listen than it does from any special gift I have.

Interestingly enough, I have had several experiences where I sensed a future person. The first time it happened was when I was pregnant with my second son. I actually felt his spirit enter his body in my womb when I was eight weeks pregnant with him. He made his presence known for several reasons, but mainly because I was really not happy to be pregnant with him. Sensing his gentle and loving spirit helped me cope and made me fall in love with him from that moment.

More recently, my granddaughter came to me before we knew her mother was pregnant with her and let me know she was on her way. How it happened was intriguing. I was at work in my retail job folding baby clothes. All of a sudden, I had this really overwhelming desire to buy baby clothes. I kept thinking, "I wish I had someone to buy baby clothes for". As I began to realize how strange this thought was (my youngest son was still in high school), it dawned on me there was a spirit present--the spirit of my future grandchild! Ironically, I went home and talked to my daughter about it because I wanted someone to know before anything happened. At the time, I speculated that maybe my oldest son, who had a very serious live-in girlfriend, might accidentally become a father. Several weeks later, my daughter came to me and said, "Mom, I guess you were right about becoming a grandmother. We just didn't know it was going to be me!"

There have been several occasions where good friends have had loved ones pass on. When these deceased family members discovered I could sense them, they would encourage me to pass along messages indicating they were indeed alive and well and still loving them. Often I get pictures of things these people liked and were important to them to relay to their loved ones.

On a more personal note, I have also spoken to deceased people who were special to me. My maternal grandmother has visited me several times, as have my first set of in-laws, whom I was very close to.

Learning to sense the presence of other spirits is really a matter of listening and being able to distinguish different energies. I believe there are times when people smell something that reminds them of someone who has passed or hear a song that reminds them of the person or gets some other "sign" the person is near. These are indeed strong indications of presence.

There are several things you can do to exercise your ability to sense spirits. First and foremost is to begin to pay special attention to the energies of the people around you. Sit in their presence with your eyes closed (if you can) and try to sense their energy. Are they quick or slow moving? Happy? Content? Angry? Frustrated? Etc. What is the overall sense you get of the person? Once you are aware of that energy when they are in your presence, try to sense their presence when you are apart. Can you still sense it? The more you explore and ask yourself these sorts of questions, the easier it will be for you to distinguish different spirits (both alive and deceased).

All spirits have a distinct energy/frequency. The more you pay attention and become conscious, the easier it will be for you to gain additional insights into the world of spirit.

On BEing a Light

Years ago when I first began my journey as a Pre Kindergarten teacher, I met a little girl named Alli. She was not in my classroom, but the room next door. Most of the day she spent going to a special needs school to help her deal with her cerebral palsy. Still, when she was with us she made all of us feel a little better with her sweet smile and personality.

One of my favorite games to play with four year olds is to tell them they are not allowed to smile. In true reverse psychology fashion, the vast majority of children enjoy playing along, willingly smiling in order to "upset" me. Alli was always one of the best at making sure I knew she was smiling!!!

A couple of years later, her younger sister was in my classroom. I got to know Alli and her family even better as I interacted with them all on a daily basis.

I no longer work as a Pre K teacher, but I do still work with the public. As a sales associate in a department store, I still manage to see Alli every once in a while when her mom or grandma bring her in to do a little shopping. Alli always has a smile and a hug waiting for me when she sees me.

Recently, a positive story on Alli appeared in the local paper on her participation in her high school soccer team. Although she worked hard at tryouts, her disability did not allow her to make a slot on the team. However, she was such an inspiration to them all they asked her to be one of the team managers. The video that follows was her team's way of thanking her for being such an inspiration to them.
The thing about Alli is, she never lets her disability get in the way of who she allows herself to BE. She goes for her goals, and even when life's little upsets happen, Alli continues on with a smile on her face. How many of us can say that?

Alli is definitely a wonderful example of BEing a light. If we were all a little more like her, the world would indeed be a much brighter place.

Alli, you are definitely my hero!!!

Transparency

We live in a world where transparency is supposedly the ultimate goal. In reality, our world is anything but transparent. Our mainstream news is based on made up truths designed for their entertainment and shock value. Education is not used to enlighten but to mold people into worker bees for the good of those who consider themselves elite. Our sophisticated PR machines crank out all our pro points while glossing over or hiding the cons. Darkness and secrecy abound.

This condition of non-transparency is allowed to exist because we do not think with our hearts. Our understanding is limited to our experiences in this lifetime and the information we pick up through the five physical sense (sight, hearing, taste, touch and smell). With limitations such as these, it is no wonder the wool is so easily pulled over our eyes! Those who rule and enslave us wish us to continue on in this fashion so they can continue their non-transparent ways (all the while telling us transparency is the ultimate goal).

Thinking through your heart allows you to connect to the Divine, and in doing so the doors of all wisdom and understanding are opened to you. The only thing required of you is asking the question. If you ask with your heart opened, you will be able to instantly go to where that specific information is located. Easy to do, but difficult to understand if you spend most of your time accessing your brain. Thinking through the heart is a very different mindset than thinking with your head.

True transparency can only come when one no longer has the ability to hide information.

It is time for the world to wake up from its slumber. Transparency and understanding are necessary if we are to transcend the mindset that brought our problems on in the first place. In the evolution of mankind, transparency is key.

Learn to think with your heart and nothing can be hidden from you.

Of Frequency and Wheels

Saw this posted online, and it begs to ask, "If someone can make something this beautiful and creative using car parts, what other beauty can be created from unexpected sources?"
My hat is off to you Andrew W Huang!!! You have given us all something to think about!!!

Phases Of the Moon

The moon was calling to me last night. I was out running errands with my husband and happened to look up and see the almost full moon. I wasn't sure if it was my imagination, but it looked as though there was a second moon directly behind it, a very small sliver of which seemed to be peeking just over the top side of the moon. Imagination or not, it was enough to get and hold my attention.

The moon has always held a fascination for me. When I was little, I can remember walking outside at night with my dad and the moon would be visible. I thought it was following me, and my dad explained that it was so far away from the earth you could see it from many parts of the world at the same time so it did seem to follow us.

As I got older, I found personal connections to the moon. My given name, Cynthia, is of Greek origins and is associated with Artemis, goddess of the moon. Interestingly enough, I also have an affinity for a crystal known as Selenite, which is named after Selene (another name for Artemis). The first time I was in the presence of this crystal, I could feel it was a very powerful stone and I was extremely drawn to it.

I have been told by my guides that I was supposed to be named Cynthia because I am like the moon. I am here to be a light in the darkness.

When I got home from running my errands and turned on my computer, I was reminded that there was going to be an eclipse. It was then I realized why the moon was calling to me tonight. It's changing energies were indeed talking to me, trying to get my attention.

As I sat thinking about what message the moon was actually trying to convey, I used my intuition to feel into the energies playing out. I could feel very powerful struggles going on. It seemed as though the powers of light and dark were fighting for control in very real ways. I chose to allow my own energy to assist the light in taking the upper hand.

Astrologers have been posting that lunar eclipses signal times of change--times of letting go of habits and patterns that no longer serve us. There is a lot our world needs to let go of--greed, poverty, disease, war, pollution, destruction. It is now time to embrace the light and bring in a new era of peace, prosperity and true justice.

It is written in our destiny, just as it is written in the phases of the moon.
